Waiting. Waiting. The girl tries to say something to the employee to scan her ticket- employee doesn't see/hear her. More hopping back and forth, the girl tries again and I clear my throat when she's done asking and the emp made eye contact with me and I nodded over to the other customer. Yes, please keep the tiny line of 3 moving. Then the wait for popcorn. My goodness- when I say there was next to no one. The gentleman ordering had been there the entire time while we were waiting to enter. Chatting. And continued to to do once we finally made it passed tickets and stood behind him. In line. OMG- help. Luckily- we had plenty of time, but I was mildly losing patience by this point. Popcorn and drink in hand- I used the restroom, CLEAN, horray! & we proceeded to the theater. I had run back to the car for a sweatshirt (I'm always cold) and that's no small thing to hoof it back to the parking garage and then back through security for City Walk. I didn't bring my movie blanket in and I definitely regretted not. The seats recline, but no heat. I love that about my home theater. Our showing was lightly attended- perfect. Not loud, not crowded. Kind words and professionalism. The only concern was something we believe is well, not profession or sanitary. We don't believe you should use your hands to open up the popcorn bag! We believe well- that's nasty. You can pop the bag to open the bag, or use the scoop to open but not your hands! Would you do this when you serve a soda- stick your finger or hand inside a cup to dry or clear debris? Look, we asked our cashier not to put their hand inside the popcorn bag and pop it like one of his employees did and we got a weird look- we asked in the most kind, super Disney kind voice- PLEASE DONT STICK YOUR HAND IN THE BAG. PLEASE POP IT OPEN JUST NOT USING YOUR HAND (that's caps here- not yelling). I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich - the bread was hard and tasted stale, chicken was very flat, dry, hard and tasted old, and then the fries were cold and definitely not freshly made. The only good part of my meal was the "no-jita". My husband ordered loaded fries and added brisket. His was also cold and not appetizing. Cheese, etc was not melted and just layered on top. And then the cost -food and two drinks + tip $92.00.. The food was worse than any fast food I have had and this cost is ridiculously high for the quality received. This is what movie theatres used to be like and should be again. They do it right and make going to the movies enjoyable. All movies before 5pm are $6.00 per person, after that it is $8.00 per person. You can actually go to the movies and not break the bank. IF you go here anyway. I took the kids to see SING and even had money leftover for popcorn and drinks. The threatre is a two movie location playing all the current movies. They even have a Ms. Pac - Man video game. I had to explain to the kids that this is what a theatre growing up was like for me, not what the norm is today of 20 different movies where you can sit down and order your gourmet dinner. The staff was great and very friendly, seemed eager to help. The bathrooms were clean and well stocked. Each of the movie theatres had ample rows. Two seat on the right and a row of 7 on the left. I believe there were 20 rows and then there was also a back step up few rows in the rear of the theatre. Good crowd that appeared wanting to see the movie as no ones phone rang and there was not one time anyone had to shush anyone.

I made it clear that I was speaking only to the manager and was told to calm down from the male. One female also claimed to be managment as well in an attempt to justify her rude interuptions. I questioned as to who the manager actually was. I then requested said managers name over and over. She refused and kept repeating" you wont let me answer". I requested the owners name, she, "Lily" refused over and over. I again began requesting her name she then spoke to one of the adults I was with, but clearly not involved in the conversation, again dismissing my concerns. Finally, I told her I will formally complain without her assistance. That is when she gave her name as Lily and began yelling "what's your name" to me. Another patron yelled out to the staff "Thanks for ruining our night. Merry Christmas." Indeed. We have only one theatre in St. Cloud. It is severely lacking but we try to support local businesses even though. It is disheartening to go to a business, spend money, and have an awful experience due to less than mediocre service. The entire staff should be removed and revamped. The four people that work there should be fired immediately as they are bringing the business down rapidly. They offer a small selection of food, mostly which are appetizers, but there are a couple of items you could order as a meal. Last time we were here we did see a few people order food to go probably back to their room. Something my wife and I always have to order is the Parker House Rolls and Spreads which has three spreads and 5 rolls. The spreads include Bacon Jam, Pub Cheese, and Citrus Butter. These are so good and actually one time we stayed we ordered these every single night, they are that good. The spreads are great on their own but even better when you mix them. I would prefer the rolls to be hot but they are still great. We also ordered the Truffle Fries served with with Roasted Shallot Mayo and the meatballs which has a porcini and parmesan cream sauce, pickled mushrooms, and chive oil. Both are really delicious and easy to share or even have both as your meal. The last thing we ordered was the flatbread. They have a seasonal flatbread which was French onion soup but we found out they also offer just a pepperoni flatbread which is not on the menu. This was a great flatbread, really cheesy, great flavor, not too heavy on the pepperoni but really good overall. For drinks I really prefer to get order off the menu and get either a dirty martini or a Manhattan. They have a full bar and can do most drinks. My wife loves their wine particularly the Dr. Loosen, Dr. L. Riesling which she finds around Disney. She also enjoys a good lemon drop martini. It is directly next door. The lounge has seating at the bar, a few high top tables, and then tables partnered with couches or benches. It is really designed to be a low key, relaxing lounge. We like to come here when we stay at the resort as well as just heading over when you want some relaxation with food and drinks. They do serve a small selection of food and specialty cocktails as well as beer and wine and a fully stocked bar. I have personally tried a couple of the specialty drinks as well as just ordered off the menu. I really prefer this lounge when staying at the resort, you can head down from your room and grab dinner and drinks and then head back. If you are not staying here you will need to get over to the resort in another way. On our last visit and actually every visit, my husband and I have to get the Parker House Rolls and Spreads which has three and includes the Bacon Jam, Pub Cheese, and Citrus Butter. These also come with 5 rolls. This is such a great snack, starter, whatever you want to call it. They are so good, the spreads are each delicious on their own but even better when you pair them together. For drinks I really prefer to get what I love which is a lemon drop martini. I also enjoy some of the wines they offer. If you want a specialty cocktail then I would recommend the Seaworthy Breeze Absolut Vodka with Grapefruit and Cranberry Juices. It was a nice cocktail, not super sweet, but more on the tart side. Overall this is a great stop. We really enjoy sitting here an relaxing with some appetizers and cocktails. You can make a meal out of the food as well if you want. No reservation required, there have a decent amount of seating. I would say stop by and check it out.
