Had a sudden shower leak in an upstairs bathroom on a Sunday night. Water flooded our kitchen…read morethrough the ceiling .I called Carmel Valley Plumbing and spoke with Jeff Monday morning. Jeff came out immediately that morning, identified the leak and initiated repairs. Knowing we would have to file a claim with our homeowners insurance because of the moisture damage on both floors, Jeff then began to perform mitigation of the wet drywall in the bathroom and our downstairs kitchen. He was very efficient and took all the necessary photos and wrote up his report for submission to our insurance company to open a claim for reimbursement. Within about four hours everything was sealed off and dryers were in place for the next 72 hours. The entire time Jeff was in constant contact with myself and my wife Guiding us through the steps we needed to file our claim. He also worked with our insurance company adjuster. We were able to get 100% of our cost for repairs covered because of his effectiveness getting the proper documentation to our insurer. He has always been friendly, responsive, knowledgeable, and fair-priced. Most recently he re-piped the hot and cold water lines in the whole house with commercial grade materials like Type L copper pipes to connect every fixture, along with new shut off valves and new garbage disposal. Opening up walls in several different rooms to route and re-route pipes is a big, messy job, but Jason and his crew did their best to keep their work areas sealed off from the rest of the house so that we would not have to vacate during the project. They spent a whole day covering floors that would be affected by hanging clear plastic curtains wherever needed to keep the dust to a minimum. The new Type L pipes were installed in a timely fashion without any serious problems. Any minor problems we encountered were quickly addressed and remedied. Manchester and Mcgraw not only quoted doing the repair through the meter box (so no concrete work), but also included the concrete work at the same reasonable price in the event it was needed! In the end the repair without cutting concrete was successful, and we couldn't be happier! They also took care of a toilet angle stop we needed replaced all within the same day!
