Plumbing issues suck! I noticed water spots from the ceiling of my garage (live in a townhome with neighbors above it), sent out requests through Yelp and Scott responded right away. He first tried to help me over the phone, after a brief discussion he was over within an hour. The leak ended up coming from the most obscure spot, really have no clue how he found it so quickly but was thankful for his expertise and diligence. I reached out because I was instructed by a pair of delivery men that I needed to replace my gas and water valves before they could install a new laundry unit. I received an incredibly fast response and a reasonable quote for both valves . He came out within the hour and within another hour he was completed. On top of that he informed me that there was actually nothing wrong with the gas valve and that the delivery people likely just hadn't seen one like that before and showed me how to prove to them it was fully functional. He knew I had not even looked at the valve before he came out I just took the delivery guys word for it and still went out of his way to inform me I didn't need to spend the money on the gas valve, which I really appreciate. Scott did an outstanding job in fixing our out of wack plumbing. Let me tell you something about the construction in 4S Ranch community- the builders are either sh!tty people or highly incompetent. Just about every home had problems that go back to construction. My neighbor's water pressure use to be low. Come to find out there were rocks inside the plumbing. There are plenty of other weird issues in this hamlet that Scott knows about. However, there ain't enough time to go through everything and my thumbs are getting cramped. Our particular issues were switched water lines in my kids' bathroom. Have you ever had boiling water in your toilet? What da hell? Scott investigated the problem and explained it all to me. I was eager to get this weirdness corrected. Scott and his assistant made the repair without knocking out any drywall (issue was located in the ceiling/attic). He also repaired the toilet (hot water damaged the flushing mechanism). The kids' toilet is no longer a steaming butt sauna. That's the end of that nightmare. My hot water heater was nearing the end of its life span, so I had Scott replace that as well. These things were supposed to be sitting on a pan to catch any leaks or drips. The old water heater had no such thing. We got a new one with a drip pan like it's supposed to be. I highly recommend Twin Plumbing for all ye plumbing needs. We called some other plumbers before them who tried to tell us our water heater was bad quality and tried to convince us to buy one of theirs and upsell us on their very expensive "packages." I had scheduled an appointment with another plumbing company last week and they never showed -- despite sending me texts saying their technician was on the way -- then they never called to apologize, etc. Made an appointment with Scott and right at about the end of my scheduled window, I realized that he had put 10:00 pm to 12:00 am and knew my appointment was probably not showing up on his calendar. I had a leak from my upstairs neighbor's unit and I called Scott and Twin Plumbing to diagnose and possibly repair the problem. I had put out several requests for quotes on Yelp, and Scott was the first person to call me. I felt like he was very clear with respect to the costs and how he would go about the leak detection process. He didn't seem pushy in the least, which I liked. Scott was very punctual and extremely thorough. He had to go back and forth between my unit and the upstairs unit a number of times, but eventually he found the problem and patched the leak via caulking. It will be up to my neighbor to do a permanent fix. He also noted problems with my bathroom faucet and said he could replace it or I could get it free from Moen. I told him that I like free, and he even went to the trouble to look up the part numbers to save me time.
