Dr. Tinoosh came highly recommended and I now know why. I went from wearing glasses for every waking moment of my life to 20/20 vision in 24 hours. I needed an eyelid surgery. I visited the office 3 times, signed all papers and then I was told, Dr. wants to see me again. The same person who saw me the first day and told me he will do the surgery, refused to do it with the excuse that I might lose too much weight afterwards and get a hollow look. This was not the issue the first time he saw me and even offered me to be a cash patient and save the clinic expense but when my insurance approved the procedure then he cannot deliver what he likes and he does not do the surgery. If he told me upfront that I should wait for a while and then do it, I would have accepted it but I don't appreciate him changing his mind and wasting my time. read more

Dr. Tinoosh and his staff are truly extraordinary! I just had another concerning situation, this time with my husband. And Tina, in Dr. Tinoosh's office, literally squeezed us in that day! I don't know if Dr. Tinoosh even took a lunch that day, in order to help us. His expert findings discovered my husband had a mini stroke in his eye. Dr. Tinoosh referred us to a Retina Specialist, and arranged for my husband to be seen the same day. The two of them came to the exact same conclusion and the Retina Specialists called back over to Dr. Tinoosh to come up with a plan for further testing of his physical health to eliminate any further damage, or risks to other organs. At the MRI/ultrasound office, they told my husband they had never had such a thorough set of tests requested! Dr. Tinoosh successfully performed LASIK surgery on my eyes back in September 2006. At that time my vision was 20/200, yes, that's 200 as in the length of two football fields! I was a bit cautious about choosing the "correct" LASIK surgeon and in my research it was between Dr. Tinoosh and another highly-recommended surgeon. It was down to who had the lowest "retouch percentage" ...meaning after an initial surgery how many patients had to have their surgery retouched again. Dr. Tinoosh had the lowest one of LASIK surgeons around the area so it was time to make the appointment! Dr. Tinoosh and his Staff gave me an overview of the process, along with a tour so I could see the machine that would fire a laser beam onto my eye. In about 60 seconds per eye (I could smell the burning power of the laser during the process) I was asked blink a few times and look around. Holy moly ... I could read the posters clear across the room! I was so excited to be able to read from so far away without the aid of glasses or contacts that I was constantly reminded to blink so my eyes would not dry. After an examination my eyesight went from 20/200 to 20/15 ...better than 20/20! I maintained this eagle eye vision for over a decade, and even to this date when my local optometrist checks my eyes annually, she still cannot believe I had LASIK surgery, as she cannot find where the incisions are when she examines my eyes through her lens! This business put an ad in a spanish newspaper promoting their services. My preferred language is spanish and when I called there was no spanish speaking employee to help me with my questions and was told to call back the following day. When I do call back the following day the employee said I was rude for asking for a spanish speaking representative and that I should take my business elsewhere. How can the receptionist have the power to force me to take my business elsewhere when I just called regarding a spanish ad. This business does not care about customers and only shows you how much the business as a whole cares about their services. If they are this rude on the phone what can I expect when having the surgery, it all ends bad. read more

I had a cyst on my lower eyelid for a couple of weeks. It was extremely swollen and very uncomfortable. It started to effect my vision. A friend of mine recommended Dr. Tinoosh. I couldn't recommend getting LASIK with Dr. Tinoosh enough. I have been extremely near-sighted my entire life with heavy astigmatism and now, post-op, every day is a miracle. Dr. Farnoosh was very professional and reassuring through the entire process. He has done over 40k surgeries and his touch-up rate is something like 1.4%. He has the kindest staff, uses the latest technology and conducts his surgeries in a center that feels more like a spa. I saw (pun intended) results immediately and was at work the very next day. My dad is a patient of Dr. Tinoosh, the doctor recommended him to do cataract surgery but my dad needed more time to think about it so he didn't go with it at that time. A couple months later my dad had pain and blurry vision ( could be a sign of emergency in patients with glaucoma). He went to 2 urgent care centers but due to lack of ophthalmologic devices he was advised to see his ophthalmologist, we called doctor Tinoosh's office to make an appointment, I asked the receptionist if the doctor has any openings for today, she asked my dad's name, put me on hold and after a while a second receptionist picks up the phone and says the doctor is not in the office today and they can schedule him for 7 days later, and suggested that he see a different ophthalmologist. I mentioned my dad was a patient of Dr. Tinoosh but she suddenly cuts me off and says: " he has only been here ONCE and he even didn't do the cataract surgery".She then repeated these words a couple times. So what do I think? They see their patients as opportunities to gain big money from insurances and if you are not beneficial to them, you're not considered a REAL patient! This is not ethical in medical professions and I'm sorry to see an office staff trained to act this way. read more

From walking in to walking out I had the best experience. Dr. Tinoosh is a professional who seems to truly know what he's doing. I have had complications with my eyes for a very long time and with that being said you can imagine to how many different professionals I have gone to. You never seem to find a good doctors facility who has it all. You either get a good physician but horrible staff or vise verse but with Dr. Tinoosh that was definitely not the case. As I walked in to my first appointment, I couldn't help but realize how busy the office was and immediately I thought to myself, "Oh great, this going to be horrible". I judged too soon because to my surprise, I found myself greeted by a very friendly staff who acknowledged my presence. The waiting time that day was longer than I expected but it was worth it. When my turn came, I was placed in a room and the doctor walked in soon after. He answered my every question and went over my procedure from the very beginning to the very end. I am very happy to have found Dr. Tinoosh because I have found a doctor for life.
