I work late a lot and by the time I'm done the place is closed. For the price, I feel they should be open late or all the time. Another issue I have is that they don't provide towels. Even $10 a month gyms provide towels to use. My membership is up and I'm thinking of renewing but at this point I doubt that I will. Besides being expensive and not open late enough, I was yelled at by an entitled elderly patron because I was using a machine that she wanted and I was "taking too long". She stared me down while I was doing my set and when I took my 10 - 20 sec break in between she kept harassing me telling me that "people don't take breaks" and that I needed to get off the machine. I told her to leave me alone and she started to curse at me. I informed the staff twice about her but nothing to my knowledge was ever done about it. I don't feel comfortable going here anymore knowing that other people can harass you but the staff just lets it happen. It's a shame because the place is pretty nice to work out at otherwise.

I said it's for MY MEDICAL NEEDS! He was asking me all kinds of questions like "when did your son's team play yesterday? What time were you here yesterday" (which has nothing to do with me having my service dog with me). By law I don't have to tell anyone my medical history as to why I have a service dog. Long story with that, he let me in. I came today for my sons last game, I had my hands full and pulling a wagon so I had my daughter hold my dogs leash. He stopped me and said I have to hold his leash. I said "you see my hands are full and my daughter is walking RIGHT NEXT TO ME. Then proceeds to say, we have rules and regulations for PEOPLE LIKE YOU! My adrenaline was rushing at this point! Such a horrible experience at this facility because they made me feel like I'm different and not normal because of my medical needs. Not only that but I was embarrassed! So disrespectful! I have never had an experience like this ever! Horrible management and the way they handled things!

They and their team specifically program work-outs for their clients that are designed for their unique goals while focusing on injury prevention. The Strength Revolution does not host group classes. I used to love group classes, but the more and more I work with my Trainer, Paul, the more I discover how group classes were more of a hindrance than an asset. They are fine as an addition to your workout program, but I learned that you cannot focus your entire fitness plan on group classes alone. Many gyms that have group programs, and their workouts are centered towards the general population, so there's no real progression. Also, many of those facilities allow so many participants in their classes that the instructor would not be able to address individuals experiencing issues or challenges with any of the specific movements, or the workout as a whole. So many people with difficulties get lost in the process leaving a lot of room for injuries to occur. The Strength Revolution has worked with me from Day 1. My trainer took the time to learn my personal fitness goals and created an individual based program just for me. He works with me to monitor my progress while teaching me how to keep advancing as I continue to move forward or if my fitness goals change. Paul also is very knowledgeable on injury prevention. Having a history of shoulder problems and a hip impingement, he has taught me warmup exercises and stretches to help in my heavy movements like squats, deadlifts and presses be more effective and without any discomfort or pain. He passes this knowledge onto his team as well so they can take that information and use it to help their clients. The whole team at The Strength Revolution in Shorewood are absolutely amazing. They are extremely knowledgeable about fitness and fitness programming all while helping clients like me avoid injury during training. I highly recommend Strengthen Revolution for anyone looking to progress in their fitness training, whether you're a beginner or been working out for decades.

I was never asked if I wanted to continue my membership with Charter Fitness (which I did not bc they were not Zip Fitness anymore and the fee was higher) I never signed any membership agreement with Charter and called to cancel my membership on Feb.1st. On Feb.3rd their 'annual fee' came out of my bank account for $39.00. Then on Feb.17th I went to Charter Fitness to cancel, they weren't even going to give me any sort of cancellation paperwork or receipt, I had to ask for it, and they claimed I would get a refund in 5-7 business days. The next day Feb.18th $22.99 came out of my bank account. Then I went there again and asked about it, they assured me that I wasn't going to get charged any more. Then on March 18th $22.99 came out of my account. Now today April 17th another $22.99 came out of my account. I have paid a total of $107.97 since I tried to cancel. I am beyond mad about this. I never even wanted a membership with Charter as I was with Charter before Zip in the past. They stated on my cancelation policy that I wanted to cancel because of Covid when that was not my reason. I haven't worked out 1 time at Charter but they've taken $107.97 from me. Like when will this end!

I decided to try this gym out for a month only bc we unsure of some of the attitudes here at the…read moregym. Some of the old people working at the gym are flat out RUDE. 3rd or 4th day here using the gym and I mentioned the Sauna wasn't working correctly..just to make them aware if it, I was fine either way I can manage and just go workout and see if it wants to start working.. this lady all huffy and puffy at the desk goes, " well you GUYS need to tell us when it's not working! We have never had this problem before the 3 MONTHS I have been here." She was upset and taking it out on me when all I did was bring it to her attention. So instead of saying thanks for bringing this to my attention, I will have someone look into it...lol which would have been a better response I got an earful which turn into blaming me for the other people at the gym..this is my 3rd/4th day being at the gym...Ridiculous. If that wasn't enough, the whole reason we were already iffy on joining in the first place was the lack of respect and professionalism from the manager Lisa over at this gym. Apparently she has been there for 12 years, so you think she should know how to talk to people. Nope! Guess again. She is very rude and same demeanor "you guys need to tell us when stuff goes wrong!" Again - why am I being Scolded for mentioning that something was wrong... I am not a child we are all adults this is not how you talk to people. Instead she should've thanked me for saying something instead I'm getting scolded????!!!!!! I'm sorry I'm not sure what kind of hooligans you have over at the gym but you should know how to talk to people and stop blaming the help. When I'm at the gym I clean up after myself I wipe the machines down and everything and when I see something wrong I say something instead of getting a proper thank you I'm getting an earful and being treated like garbage not worth it!!!!! I don't know what's up with these older people that work at the gym but they are not pleasant. The younger people that work at the gym are fine they're very nice what's wrong with these older people I don't understand. Perhaps these rude people need to take a vacation or find a different line of work one that doesn't include customer service because they're terrible at it! Later....I did have another conversation with someone else at the gym and they have mentioned the saunas have issues constantly... so if the workers would do there jobs instead of just sit at the desk and collect a paycheck then maybe the gym would be in better shape and instead of "BLAMING" the people who actually come to the gym to - keep you collecting that paycheck, perhaps you could find it in your HEART to be a bit nicer to us. The gym goers are how you get paid to have a job - the owner just signs it. The customers are the ones who keep you employed. Please remember this.
