I met with leading associate Kamyra and she was very professional and I was pleased with the tour and property. I loved the hospitality that was shown, and how each unit comes fully stocked with a stove and a refrigerator. During the tour, lovely jazz music was played and the refrigerator was stocked with ice cold drinks and of course we had triple digit hot weather so this was a blessing!! I'm giving 5 stars for my personal experience and the hospitality given during my tour and what I saw while touring the grounds. The size of the units and closet space and storage on the balcony is also a plus including the appliances that are included with the unit. Paying over $2,000 a month in rent and having to deal with roaches crawling around outside every day is completely unacceptable. On top of that, there are stray cats everywhere making a mess around the property. For the amount residents pay, this level of maintenance is triflin. It's frustrating and honestly disrespectful to the people who live here and pay their rent on time. Residents shouldn't have to walk outside and constantly see roaches and deal with these ongoing issues. This place is awful. Constant bugs, cockroaches, spiders, gnats.. and you can hear every single step from upstairs neighbors. People let dogs run off leash everywhere and management does nothing. If you complain, YOU get a warning letter instead of anything being fixed. You only get one parking spot and one gate keycard, and the gate system is so outdated you have to call yourself to get in and it barely works. Kids are playing right in front of my door at 8 AM, landscaping wakes you up at 7:30 AM multiple times a week, and there's zero peace here. My bathroom constantly smells like smoke through the vent, and their only "solution" was spraying a strong bleach chemical. Their laundry room is small, machines are old and overall all the extra fees they charge every month is crazy for how ghetto it is. Thank god isaac and mark don't work here anymore but the new staff is still unhelpful. read more

I've attempted to get in contact with the management office but they haven't responded. We can hear every step our upstairs neighbor is making. The gardener use their leaf blower to blow ur bedroom window screens and to make our porches a mess. There's glass in the parking lot and grass from people breaking bottles about 2 months ago. I've seen the cops come to our neighbors house with AR-15 in the middle of the night, banging on doors. It's been raining a lot recently and there's mold growing on our windows that are kept closed. Same with our neighbors window. The bathrooms in these units have 0 ventilation even with the "exhaust fan". Don't move here. The neighbors suck, the buildings suck and so does management. 0-10 read more

This will be my fourth year living at Upland Village Green Apartments; it's been a pleasure. I've seen a lot of changes, none of them close to the ones Christina B and her team have made,including the overall energy of our community. There have been improvements in security including repaired gates, entrance hardware, on-site security guards, and close-knit neighbors that are concerned for each other's safety. The laundry rooms are remodeled with Bluetooth capability alerting you when your load is washed or dried. It's controlled by an app allowing you to link your debit/credit card for instant funding. We used to use the card system which is still available for those not technically savvy or uncomfortable with change. I like this system because I always lose my cards! Haha. There is plenty of safe space outside to let your kids play. My daughter loves to go swimming and to play with her friends on the playground. The Best for Last: I'm a tradeshow installer and just like a lot of other businesses, industries, and people we were hit by the pandemic. In times of trouble and need UVG put their hearts before their work which I will never forget, which I will always appreciate. I've been here for 8 years and I just renewed my lease. It's always been a quiet, safe and friendly place to live for me. The office staff and maintenance team are helpful and understanding. Whenever the rare issue comes up - they take care of business! The walls are excellent sound barriers- the only time I hear neighbors is from the outside, and its usually just children playing. I honestly do enjoy living here- I've never had trouble with neighbors or crime at all and I like how close the freeway and shopping is. We've been living here for 4 years && it's just gotten worse. When we first moved in the place looked great, no issues. Then we had our disposal clogged and now it doesn't work. Then we had our AC broken during the summer of 2020 and they didn't fix it til almost winter time and it turns out we had to get a whole new AC. I had 2 toddlers suffering all summer of heat rashes. Then we had a rodent problem, that lasted a few months, the mice were making holes in the walls and climbing on our bed and our kids' bed. It was horrible. Now we have mold in our apartment, and due to the rain our ceiling in our bedroom started leaking and that caused mold to build up rapidly. We've had this mold issue and ceiling problem since January! I have emails and pictures as proof. They had sent someone to paint over the mold, which just made it worse. They recently just sent someone to fix our ceiling but since it's was too wet then they had to wait for maintenance and management to send us a humidifier to soak up all the wet humidity from the ceiling before they could put new drywall. So far they haven't brought anything. I had told management that I was not going to pay them rent until they fixed the issue and how convenient that they send someone to fix our ceiling a week before rent is due. I'm still not paying them! I contacted management to see what I could do since we can't be here with black mold, it's illegal! I have 3 kids here at home. The girl literally told me to go stay with family or to avoid the room or clean up the mold myself if I felt like it was too much. Are you kidding me! That's their job to keep these apartments up to code but they can't even do that! We've been sleeping in our living room since January! FYI: GHP, the owners of Upland Village Green and other properties have a lawsuit going on right now for unlawfully charging $75 dollars extra as a "late fee" for past due rent. We pay almost $2,000 of rent for an apartment that is falling apart, it's ridiculous!! There are some apartments that burned down in December of 2022 and they haven't fixed those but they have the time to fix their office that burned down 3 years ago but can't keep their apartments up to code and in habitable conditions. We are waiting for our lease to end so we leave. Gotta suffer til September. read more

I have lived here for 4 years and the complex has definitely had some ups and downs but I have to say that the new management and office staff is working hard to make some noticeable improvements such as an updated laundry room,a gym and nice little events for the families here. It makes me so happy to see those changes. The change in parking has helped with some security issues and outside and sketchy traffic and it was much needed. It's filled with kids playing and families here, which is nice. The one and only thing I would love is amped up security at night and some updated appliances and carpet, but I have been here awhile and I believe the newer units are updated. Just moved in last week and Ambar and the staff here at Upland Village Green made the process very easy for me and my family. We visited several other communities in the area and the staff here was so sincere that we chose to come here. The apartments are nice and spacious including a patio. As for amenities, our apartment comes with AC and a dishwasher. and maintenance is very friendly. A pool and a playground are also in the community which is a huge plus if you have kids. Horrible place to live. Been here for the past year and have seen new people come in and out of the office at least 3 times. Nobody seems to be competent enough to get it right. It's pretty ghetto here. Have seen a lot of tweakers walking around. Just last week there was 40 cops and a chopper here blocking off all the exits and entrances to where me and my family couldn't leave. Not a good place to live if you have kids. An absolutely terrible spot for residency. If you'd like to live in a location where the management doesn't respect you or talk to you like a human being, then welcome! I have never been treated with such a condescending tone or rude manner as I have with the management at this location. They won't take any of your concerns seriously and they will let you know that you're nothing but a money commodity to their business. I have witnessed multiple times of incidences where they will talk to residents in a raised and rude tone. On top of that, drug deals happen at every corner of the complex, parking is limited, the walls are painted with mold, the outlets love to short out and stop working, onsite repair guys will try to flirt you up more than try to help fix your problem, bugs seems to have a one way access inside, the management will lose your package (more than once!), and don't forget - you're not a respectable human being at this location. I've witnessed multiple of their staff leave their location to work elsewhere because of their current new manager. Be wary. *Also a side note, this apartment location is way overpriced compared to other neighborhoods. Utilities (including sewage, water, gas and electricity) are not included in the posted rent price. read more

Maintenance is really nice... that's all that can be said positive about this place. The office associates don't seem to know much about their job and are never consistent with what one another say. Also the apartments are right on the tracks. Your walls will literally shake all hours of the night with horns blaring so loud it can wake you from a dead sleep. Also when we moved in we asked what utilities were covered. They said everything except gas and electric, but it turned out that they actually charge you for the other utilities, on a separate bill that's included with your rent. The worst part is you often don't get the bill until the 2nd, but if your rent isn't paid on the 1st it's late. When we made a complaint, we were told "It's best to pay a little extra as a buffer so you can always be sure to have rent paid on time." Still it can fluctuate anywhere from 30 - 120$ so it's a frustrating buffer. Then there's the parking situation. Assigned parking on the other half of the complex, cars being abandoned for over a year before being towed, very little guest parking, and it's all filled by residents who want to park on the half of the complex they live on because... their assigned parking is just too far away. They need a program from residents to trade spots. Not a good place to live. read more

Im really comfortable here. My apartment is nice and spacious and it was the best price i found by a good amount for the upland/ontario area. I've been here for a couple years now and I've had no major issues to complain of. Anytime I did need some maintenance done, it was taken care of in reasonable time. The only real problem a resident might have would be the train tracks close enough to hear the horns, but it never bothered me. My designated parking is a lil far from my apartment, but theres usually lots of open spots real close for guest parking anyway. The big thing for me is the central air conditioning, I gotta have that. They keep it running smooth all year, so im happy. I plan on sticking around awhile, theres definetely no reason to look elsewhere. read more

My smoke alarm never went off and we would have never made it out if it wasnt for my neighbor saving our lives. On top of that, the apartments were trying to charge us the same price we paid for a 2bedroom apartment for a 1 bed and asked us to pay money that same day. My boyfriend and I have called this property our home for almost a year now. The very first time we saw it we really loved all the grass and trees the property had to offer. During the day it's very quiet and you can hear the birds chirping. Right in front of our space we have hummingbirds that we truly enjoy. When the kids are home from school they have a play area that many of them come out to play together. Very family friendly. The first time I've ever had a concern, the property manager Mary was very helping and eager in correcting my issue. She seems to be really committed to working on making this area even more welcoming to current and future residents. We are close to the end of the lease and we are hoping to find a solution in cutting costs to save for our future. My husband and I moved here in October 2018 and so far so good. Kenyatta is an awesome groundskeeper. Works very hard to keep our community clean and very easy to talk to and super helpful. Sal is great too!! He's onsite and is very responsive. The ladies and gent in the office are ok. The residents are nice. The only thing is that living here is a little noisy mainly because of the train. But overall, we have been very happy to call this place home. read more
