I'm…read moreglad this company has gotten some reviews on Yelp recently as I was looking at their services in October of last year and there were no Yelp reviews at that point. My experience with them was a little mixed, as I will explain below. First off, the woman who answered the phone and did the initial coordination was nice and professional. I can't remember her name unfortunately, but that was appreciated. Seems like this company is willing to send someone to do a free quote for a job, which is good and how it should be IMO. I found that some other companies still charge for this though. She set me up for an appointment in the near future. The day of the appointment for a quote arrived. The person who was coming was not on time. I called them and they said that the guy was running about 20 minutes late. I waited 20 minutes, no guy. I waited for a while longer after that but he was very late at this point so I called them and left a message that I was leaving at this point as he was late and I wasn't going to wait any longer to eat dinner. As I was walking out, I saw this disheveled looking kid walking around my apartment complex. Turns out he was the guy who they sent. I told him that I didn't want to get the estimate anymore because he was very late. He looked angry, wasn't apologetic at all, and gave me a bit of an attitude. I'd rather not put the name of this kid in my review for the purposes of being merciful. Needless to say, I pretty much crossed All in One off my list after this incident. They did follow up with me afterwards to offer an apology and offered to send someone else. I hadn't decided on a company yet so I thought I'd give them another chance. The next person who came was plumber named Christina. Christina was very friendly, professional, and communicated excellently the whole time I dealt with her. She arrived right on time and did the estimate. The estimate she gave me was, by far, the best price I was offered after checking with like 3-4 other companies. She also let me know that I could buy my own shower kit for her to install (instead of the company themselves providing everything and there possibly being more room for upcharges as a result). I was able to text with her for feedback and she was very responsive. So I decided to pull the trigger on having her do the job. I live in a co-op apartment complex and there were a few more hoops to jump through than if I was having work done in my own private house. My co-op requires a licensed and insured plumber to do work on my apartment. All in One is licensed and insured FYI. I would have preferred to hire someone who was more underground in order to save money, but I couldn't in this situation unfortunately. Christina arrived on the day of the job and did the work. She let me know that the job was done and that my shower was no longer leaking. However, when I got back, my shower was still leaking. I was understandably upset that my problem wasn't solved, but I was able to talk to Christina and she let me know that another component (the shower cartridge) was to blame. I was a bit skeptical as my super had already changed the cartridge a few times, but I was appreciative that she was willing to come back that weekend to do the cartridge fix. Thankfully, after she came back to do that, my shower no longer was leaking, and hasn't been leaking since. So overall, my problem ended up being solved for a much lower price than what most other companies in the area were charging. But it came with some hiccups. Getting plumbing work done is a very, very stressful and expensive project. There were companies that were charging more than double the price of what All in One offered. But I had a good experience with Christina and would definitely recommend working with her specifically. Hope my long review was helpful. Well NO- plumbing isn't my kitchen cabinet is chipped. For goodness sakes, it's a NECESSITY! Plumbing is an emergency, for crying out loud, the entire bathroom is not only out of order but that darn flooding is not going to wait until tomorrow morning! So for those who advertise they are 24-hours, please remove that line and state your stinky accurate hours. Pun.) Well, enough of that diatribe - I wanted to say that this place absolutely delivered. It was late evening and terribly sorry to really burden anyone who has to go dinner or a home to go to - but this was serious and we were in absolute dire need for help. The professional plumber came to inspect and in few minutes, started the job. The cost was provided right after few minutes of inspection (so no funny business on that too.). Plus it was reasonable so we gave a good tip for being so accomodating, considering it was late. And yes, many can argue that they sign up for this job, for its risk and odd hours - got that. Again, the gripe here is that many of these companies put it out there like they are up and ready to come, when most of them say "sorry, it is too late". Oops, sorry to digress again. Focus. I am highly recommending this business based on the experience with one professional. Left no mess and was very good at keeping things tidy. Also very informative and provided suggestions on our next steps. It wasn't even an hour (because many of these licensed individuals charge by the time, so they would belabor the job at times.) I did apologize for the late hour, but was so thankful. The professional was very understanding and kept saying it is okay. Therefore, 5 stars for this business, but 10 stars for the person who came to save the day.

Tidal Plumbing is probably one of, if not the best service providers I have ever used…read more As a homeowner, there are few things that cause more stress than plumbing concerns or matters that are otherwise out of your control. The courtesy, professionalism, and expertise that Tidal Plumbing provides alleviates all of those concerns. When Hurricane Ida hit, our basement flooded with several feet of sewage and rainwater, like so many other people in the Tri-State area. The day after the storm, I called Tidal Plumbing for help, as our water heater and boiler both died. Within a few hours, technicians were at my house to diagnose the issue to see if there were any repairs that could save my water heater and boiler. Unfortunately, both were beyond repair. The team was able to install a replacement water heater the same day, just a few hours later at a very reasonable cost. They were also able to install a brand new gas boiler just a few days later, also at a very reasonable cost, despite shortages and price gouging around the area. To prevent and address future flooding, Tidal Plumbing also installed a sump pump and sewer check valve to prevent any future back flows from the city into our house. This was an extensive amount of work that took about 2 weeks. The whole time, the entire team was professional, courteous, efficient and always understanding. They constantly wanted to be sure I was satisfied with the work they did, which I was. They were patient in explaining all aspects of the replacements and installations to ensure I was comfortable with the work being done. Each member of their team I interacted with operates with integrity, instilling confidence with their knowledge and expertise. My experience with Tidal Plumbing has been so positive that I have already recommended them to several friends in the area. With 100% confidence, I can say that Tidal Plumbing is the only company I will be using from here on out for any plumbing-related needs.

We had a very shaky toilet that another plumber "fixed" 5 months prior. Mike got down to the bottom of the problem and gave me updates on what he was finding every step of the way. There were some major issues that needed to be fixed and Mike did not take any shortcuts, he was very transparent from start to finish. Our flange was rotted and Mike removed the broken flange put in a new flange set in concrete. He put in a new toilet and sealed it with silicone. I had a shower stall that was well past it's prime, no vanity - just a small sink, and a floor missing tiles. I basically told him I wanted grey and I didn't much care after that. Unfortunately my home is not my priority so I would have been happy with whatever upgrade he could give me. I handed him my house keys and left. I came home a little more than a month later and he was almost done. I wish I had before pictures. And the most amazing part was that it was all within my budget. We only had one FaceTime call where he was at the store for me to look at tiles. It was absolutely amazing. I couldn't have imagined a nicer outcome!!!
