This UPS office either has idiot drivers or idiot staff in the office, or both. Twice now my shipper has had to send my package because the first time the driver returned it saying I refused it. How can I refuse it when HE NEVER EVEN CAME TO MY HOUSE?!?! I called & spoke to April, supposedly a supervisor who was very rude, defensive, disrespectful & no help. She was extremely defensive of her driver saying it wasn't him that returned it. She was blaming someone in the office for the "mislabeling". Apparently, it was too late to have them hold it & it was already on it's way back east. There was another package that was supposedly at the office but April was supposed to look for it & call me back so I can go pick it up, but of course she never called back. It was finally delivered on Monday but now the duplicate package was supposed to be delivered yesterday & the driver labeled it "severe weather complication". The weather was bright & sunny yesterday!! If one driver could deliver a package (to me and my neighbor) on Monday, why can't they deliver a package on Thursday?!?! When Amazon or FedEx have a problem delivering to me THEY CALL ME TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO GET THE PACKAGE TO ME! When I asked April why UPS can't do this she said they can't use their personal phones. UPS tracking has said our packages have been "out for delivery" for four days now. By the afternoon the tracking states there is an " an exception" and the delivery won't be until the next day. Horrible customer service. read more

If I could give UPS a negative score I would. I have been waiting for a package sent from Amazon. It has been delayed more than 3 business days. I tried calling UPS to see if I could go and pick it up. I cannot get in touch with an agent on the 1-800-PICK-UPS telephone number. I tried calling 3 times this morning and their phone system kept looping or hanging up on me. I tried calling the Romoland phone number to see if I could pick it up, but that number is no longer in service. This is the worst shipping experience I have ever had, especially when I cannot speak to a live person. Never again UPS. read more

Had two packages that required signatures delivered while we were out of town. Got emails saying if I missed 3 delivery attempts, it would be returned to sender. Tried to call and talk with someone to see if they would hold it for pickup first. That took me two hours of unsuccessful fiddling with their online platform. Called a store and they said I needed to call their corporate number. That took another hour to get a hold of a human. He tried to charge me $14 to pick up my own packages. That didn't feel right. Finally called a random ups store and their employee gave me the answer I needed. When we got home, The delivery slips they left on my porch had no information for pickup. Called a store and they also told me to call the corporate number. Finally got a hold of an employee who gave me the pickup address. Now I get to drive an hour round trip to pick up my packages. I ordered "essential" car parts for my truck which is in serious need of maintenance. I use my truck for work, but since UPS assured me my package would arrive by the 6th, I started the disassembly of my vehicle so it was ready to be repaired when the parts arrived. Surprise surprise, no parts on the 6th, but "they'll be there first thing in the morning." It's 3 PM the next day and nothing. I call UPS headquarters, only to find out they've placed my vehicle parts in "overflow" because the package is "unessential." UNESSENTIAL?! How more essential can car parts for the vehicle you use for work be, you ignorant morons?! I call this place and, boom, phone line is disconnected (should I even be surprised at this point?). I'm heading down there shortly to give them a piece of my mind, but I'm starting to think the doors will be locked and the people inside will just ignore me. ZERO STARS. NADA. ZIP. ZILCH. This place recruits people from hell. Everyone who works here, and everyone we've spoken to on the phone are all incompetent. We have shipments of more than 20 boxes scheduled every month, and every single motherfeathering time, a fraction of our shipment ends up in Amazon...in Moreno Valley of all places. What does everyone here do when we ask them about this? "Oh its not our problem; we can't step into Amazon's facility." Well poop de poop, how did y'all manage to get our boxes there in the first place? In addition to that, they've had this ongoing problem for God knows how long. BECAUSE OF THIS LOCATION, THERE ARE TRUCKLOADS OF BOXES THAT END UP AT AMAZON ON A DAILY BASIS. Yes, DAILY. They've had to hire someone JUST to go to Amazon and fetch every single box that "accidentally" makes it there. They hired someone to fix mistakes they've caused themselves---yea, that sounds about right. Woot! Congrats UPS Romoland! You've managed to reach a new level of incompetence!! There's a guy who works here named Ed. I don't know what's up his donkey butt but he hung up on us after we called to complain and ask about our shipment. Mind you we've had this problem for at least 6 months, and they ARE aware of it. His response when we asked for someone higher? "There are people 5 pay grades higher here that can't do anything about it so there's nothing we can do but wait". What has everyone been doing for the past 6 months, sleeping with each other? There's another lady who works here who always answers the phone and is UPS Romoland's Queen B. I'll be nice this time and not reveal anything about her um, phone etiquette. As in, lack thereof. Even Fedex has a couple of things to say about this particular UPS location. The staff here is just...unbelievably rude. If things do not improve in another 6 months, well....I hope management here gets their act together and I hope this is the last time we'll be dealing with them. I was expected to receive a couple of packages on 4 Dec. I paid a 2-day shipment fee which was more than the value of my items just to get them when I need them. During that time the tracking was consistently saying "out for delivery." I waited until 9pm and no package. I was devastated as the boxes contained awards that would be presented the next day. I called the UPS Romoland on Saturday at 8am and talked to someone and begged to assist in finding my packages. First thing someone said, was she has limited access and no guarantee she would find my packages. Right there on I knew I would not get a positive result. Every hour I'd call and they kept telling me they're looking, but could not find my package. There was also unwillingness in their tone to go up and beyond. They gave up and just told me they had 4000 packages and everyone wanted their package that same day. Which gave me an impression how inefficient their service is if they can't deliver 4000 packages on time. Additionally, how many of those people were expecting boxes full of awards to be given to military families? Last year most members were deployed overseas and this year was the first time most members were home to actually celebrate the holiday and see their family members getting an award. UPS staff didn't care. I knew that when they told me the first time that there was no assurance to find my package that they have a broken system. Very disappointed! read more

I wouldn't even give them 1 star but I had no other option. This is the third time I've had issues with my shipment. The drivers put fake excuses as to why they won't deliver a shipment because they're lazy and they pick and choose where they want to deliver. I used the "follow my delivery" link and they were one street away and then all of the sudden I received an alert saying the shipment had been delayed. I called the 800 number and the lady I spoke to was rude and told me I had to contact the company I ordered from and have them contact ups. I asked to speak to a supervisor and she put me on hold and guess what no one ever picked up. I was on hold for an hour and 10 minutes before I hung up. My advise to this company is to hire drivers that want to work, and get rid of your lazy drivers. read more

If I could give this place -0-stars I would, beyond rude NOT helpful at all! We had a package that we missed the delivery on so I was going to call and pick it up myself since we were going to be out the following day. I figured I could pick it up and that would be easier for all parties involved. I was not expecting to pickup that same day but was going to plan for the next day as it was a little later in the afternoon when I called. When I called the 800 number the automated VM told me I could still pickup that same day if I wanted to though so I thought to myself GOOD I will do that! It also told me I would receive a call back from a rep telling me where I could pickup my package at within the hour. So that same hour I got a call back and the rep confirmed where I could pickup my package. I double checked the hours with her and she claimed they were open still and I could pickup the package. So I asked about how far it was from my location she claimed about 15-mins away. Cool I thought got in my car and drove there....well it was more like 30min away and when we got there there was practically a brawl! They told us they were closed we would have to come back tomorrow and they don't know why we were told they were open still. They refused to give us our package and we're going to make us come back the following day. Worse customer service EVER they were beyond rude, short and were talking to bad about my husband behind his back. We drove OUT of our way to make everyone's jobs easier and Instead of a "customer is always right attitude." This location is so helpful! I called about 20 minutes after they had closed. I was not at home when their driver attempted to deliver my package. I live an hour away from their office, and I was having a laptop delivered for work and my business trip was the following morning-so I needed it A.S.A.P.. Eric answered my frantic phone call, and went above and beyond to have my package redelivered before the end of the day. Can you believe it? A UPS Customer Center out here! Right off the 215 and 74. Can pickup or drop off shipments. They will even hold them for you up to a week. They also offer same day will call if you miss your driver. read more

They deserve no stars. First I've spent the last two days stuck at home waiting on a package that the sender indicated needed the be signed for. Tuesday 10Nov2020 my delivery window was 10-2 I was home all day the driver do not knock or ring the doorbell but left a sorry we missed you tag on the door. The app says the delivery was attempted at 5... 5 people live in my house not one heard the door. Same thing happened today 11Nov2020 I spent my holiday off sitting at home waiting on UPS. Delivery window again was 10-2... at 4 I check the app and it says delivery attempt failed. The driver did not knock or ring the door bell. I called customer service and was told I needed to go to Romoland at 7:30pm to get my package... I live in Temecula... I drive the 20+ miles down dark creepy roads to get to the place. Get there and I'm told two people are inside I need to wait. It's freezing outside so I sit in my truck. 20 mins past the other people hadn't come out so I go check and they tell me to just go back. I wait another 5 mins before someone comes to the counter. I give him the package information and he says "uggh that's on the other side of the building" he helps another person and then goes to look for my package. The whole process was ridiculous. Once again the worst UPS station has never failed to amaze. You'd think after years of being overwhelmed every holiday season with trailers of undelivered boxes left on the side of the road with delayed parcels you would think they'd get their act together, but we haven't even reached this year's parcel rush and they are already screwing up shipments!!! If you live anywhere locally make sure you don't ship your parcels with UPS as this station is notorious for horrible customer service, late parcels and corporate won't do anything about it!!! My Amazon order was shipped via UPS & eventually ended up at the UPS Romoland, CA center for distribution on 12/22. Package was on schedule to arrive on guaranteed 12/23 date, but per the tracking website, UPS kept changing the delivery date out, 6 separate times actually, saying that the carrier has rescheduled. However, when I called the UPS customer service phone # & entered my tracking #, the automated system told me incorrectly that UPS attempted to deliver but the address was closed (not true as it is my residence) & will try to redeliver tomorrow. However I stayed on the line to talk to a live representative, only to be connected to an international call center from the Philippines. The rep told me the system now shows the estimated delivery to be 1/8-1/17, could not tell me the status of the package or give me an explanation as to why the delivery date kept getting extended. She said that it may be stuck in sorting & even went as far as to say that after being 3 days late, UPS generally considers a package lost & instructed me to file a claim with Amazon! Disappointing that the package did not arrive by guaranteed date, certainly frustrating that UPS kept reporting a new extended delivery date, but UNACCEPTABLE that UPS is giving multiple, inaccurate accounts of my package status. This is the THIRD INCIDENT THIS YEAR (same circumstances/excuses) with the UPS Romoland facility that I have encountered. UPS does not provide a customer contact that I can find to address this ongoing problem. I was able to get a refund from Amazon but strongly requested that they reconsider using UPS in the future. read more

I have to agree with all the bad reviews this ups center is a waste I have been recently receiving my items broken and many of the items are missing what is their problem this is actually the first time in a long time that I have been dealing with a customer service like this first of all it shows that this facility doesn't have a professional responsable manager someone in charge of the employees also someone that makes sure their employees are not stealing the packages this is a crime if they don't know ! also i have submitted a police and ups corporation report about this facility in Romoland Ca for packages that constantly get missing they have started an investigation with police and the actual ups corporation which I already submitted and the investigation is underway and lastly this facility needs new management employees and staff it's so sad to have people working here and their just mad at their miserable life god knows why and make their job so unprofessional an advice to you ups employees at this location is that if you don't like your job then leave it go wash restrooms or simply go lock yourself in your house and stay under your bed trust me you will do the world a big favor read more

UPS has become the WORST possible service on the planet. I suggest you all use ON-Trac or Fedex or a burro -- any of those would be better. They haven't been able to deliver one simple package after FOUR tries. They keep getting the home address wrong and refuse to deliver it to the Post Office, even though they deliver stuff there ALL THE TIME. I am so fed up! The simple solution would've been for the so called customer service personnel to contact dispatch at the processing center in god-knows-where-it-is ROMOLAND, to the driver to tell him that UPS had the WRONG street address (they didn't add a number) and to deliver it to the RIGHT address. But now it's gonna be yet another day....WHY would anyone use a service that can't deliver a package as THAT IS WHAT THEIR BUSINESS IS SUPPOSED TO BE. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!!! I will not even give them 1 star. The following is just part of the email I sent to corporate. If anyone who reads this is a large volume shipper, please stop using UPS. The only way they will treat their customers better is if they lose business. Rodrigo, I would like to explain the entire situation and how those that represent your company failed in an epic fashion. It started with the courier who was entrusted to deliver my package. Knowing that it would require a signature, I stayed at home all day yesterday for the delivery until I had to leave for work in the late afternoon. From then on my wife and daughter stayed home, listening intently for a knock or a doorbell to ring, neither of which happened. When I called my wife around 8:00PM to see if it arrived, she informed me that a note was left on our door, with no attempt to deliver the package. I immediately called to have my package re-attempted but was told I would have to pick it up at a UPS store the next day because I was not home. I informed the agent that someone was home all day waiting for this delivery and the courier did not attempt to get a signature at all, so I requested the package be delivered to my home. The agent put me on a brief hold then came back and stated it would be delivered before 2:00PM. I stated that was unacceptable since I already wasted one day waiting for it and requested the package be delivered first thing the next morning. The agent stated she would send a message to the center regarding my request and that a supervisor would contact me in the morning. Today, I received a call at 9:13AM from Janine stating that my package was still at their facility and was not going out for delivery. I then asked how soon my package would be delivered and she stated the soonest they could deliver it was Monday. I then explained to Janine that I had been waiting for this package since yesterday, that the courier never attempted to get a signature, and that I would need someone to deliver my package today. She said she would talk to a supervisor and see what she could do and then hung up. I called back an hour later at 10:13AM and asked Janine when they would be able to deliver my package. She stated that the supervisor Alex was going to take care of it and deliver before 2:00PM. I reminded her how long I had been waiting for this package, how it was their mistake to begin with, and that I did not want to wait around all day again for this delivery. She said she would talk to Alex about getting it to me sooner. After 2:00PM came and passed I still did not have my package. I called and spoke to Rainey who immediately gave me another number to call to reach Alex. There was no answer. I called the previous number back and spoke to Teri, whom stated my package was still in the building and that Alex was not available. I asked to speak to someone in charge to get my package delivered. Teri placed me on a brief hold. Rainey then picked up the phone and stated they had no one to deliver the package. I reminded Rainey that I was informed by Janine, 4 hours ago, that Alex would be delivering my package, and I didn't care if he used his personal vehicle to do it. She stated that he would not be able to do that since it was a signature required package, that they needed to deliver it in a company vehicle, that none were available, and they would have a courier deliver it between 6:00-8:00PM. I stated that was unacceptable and asked if she could please get Alex on the phone. After waiting 20 minutes I decided to drive to the package center to get it myself and express my displeasure with the way everything was handled. It only took me about 20 minutes to drive there and that was only because there was an accident on the freeway that made it bumper to bumper between two exits. When I arrived at the facility, I was still on hold. By the time an employee came to the counter to assist me, I had been waiting on hold for over 50 minutes. Rainey never attempted to get Alex on the phone, she just left me on hold and walked away. After the counter employee, Zeke, helped get my package, I asked to speak to Alex. Zeke left to get Alex after helping another customer. A few minutes later he came back stating Alex had left. He then asked if I would like to speak to a manager. I said absolutely, I would like someone to address this situation. By the time Nikki Bemis finally spoke to me it had been over an hour and half since I asked to speak to a manager. I explained to her how upset I was about the whole situation and she immediately tried to make it seem like it was my fault the package was not delivered on the first attempt. She stated that I must not have heard the courier knock or my doorbell was broken. I said, excuse me, you're trying to project your couriers failure on me when he made no attempt to get a signature? In my 22+ years of customer service, I have never seen a situation handled so poorly. read more

This is the worst company I have ever had to deal with. I have had two miss two days of work. I thought I was saving $100 by buying tires online instead by missing two days of work I've lost $ 500. I had two tracking numbers one for each of two tires. Now I have four tracking numbers one for each tire. I have made over 10 call spent over four hours on the phone. Spoke to people whose English is so poor you cannot understand them and they just continue to repeat themselves like they are a computer or a recording saying the same thing over and over they don't listen to you and are so extremely rude. I wanted to file a complaint they will not give me a supervisor to talk to. I asked for my tires to be held so I could pick them up they have now put them on a truck to send them out but they don't know where they are. they said they would be here on 12 -2-18 and when I checked the website yesterday it said they wouldn't be arriving until 12-3-18 because they had not got there in time to be loaded onto a truck for delivery. Every tracking information I have used everything I have checked in UPS.com and I have printed paperwork shows that they have been there since around 1 AM on 12-2 18. I have proof from someone that told me to come pick up the tires they won't let me in and their website now says that I have to wait one more day for my tires. I have lost four appointments I had set up to have the tires put on. And there is not one person in this company that cares about the time in the money I have lost. I gave them one star only because that was the only choice I had. I will use the post office before I ever use UPS again. I feel bad for the drivers representing a company that is so terrible. And we the people are at their mercy. We had paid for something that they have and they feel if they are not responsible for anything in should not have to pay to reimburse people for their mistakes. With all the issues involved in packages being stolen, UPS My Choice allows you to reroute package to a local UPS Store. It works great until you cannot access it. Trying to call their 800# is a waste of time. This does not help the shipping center meets it's normally great service. I used to live two blocks from there and they were very helpful. Now that I live further, it is easier to have it delivered to one of the UPS stores locally. There needs to be better coordination at the 800# and UPS My Choice options. read more

The last two packages I received via UPS out of Romoland were placed against a fence post on the Highway. The only reason I got one of these packages is because a water district driver saw it and called to have me pick it up, the other was found by a neighbor. My home is at the end of a long private road that FedEx has no problem delivering too. When I call they will not allow me to talk to an agent so I don't know how to resolve this issue. read more
