US Post Office - Post Offices Near Me - Perris, California

I've had this perris location in my area for 20 years and always had problems. I always feel it's a 50 50 chance I get my packages. I also get other residents mail in our box. When I come out to there facility there service could be better like "someone will be right with you" just as a courtesy. Never been happy with usps I avoid them at all cost. I don't even order from Amazon when they use usps. They really need to bring back customer service and quality delivery. read more

I sent mail and a package to my cousin in Perris, CA, they received everything. Then about a month ago sent another package, the driver left it at some other address and was not found. Ok, today I received a message that my package was deliver at 7:45am, however the package had not yet been deliver, But Martha from the Perris location took the time to look for my package and provided me with the correct information. People make mistakes we are all human, we need to give people a chance to correct the mistake. I have never had a bad experience with this location the employees are super nice and sweet. We came to get passports done had an appointment for Moreno Valley location due to the internet outage we were sent here and said they would help us out upon arriving there was a family of four after they left we waited an extra 30 minutes hoping to be seen then more appointments showed up. Come to this post office a couple of times a week. Overall staff is helpful. Catch it on a good day and it can be pretty Lively and entertaining thanks to the staff. Most of the time I'm in with minimum to no lines. Least crowded post office I've gone to between Perris, Moreno Valley and Riverside. If you go in the evening before closing strong chance there will be pretty long line. I stay clear of that time as much as possible. Other than that it's typically in and out for me. read more

My first experience here included me waiting in line, only to be told to go to the pick up window. I moved into a rental house and had no idea what my mailbox number was. One day I get home and they had changed the community mailbox. The call I made to the PO was a joke. I was told that they have to contact the carrier and call me back. Never got a call back. The lady at the pickup window was rude. I later found out she was actually the supervisor. I let her know that they changed the mailbox and I probably need a new key, but I'm unsure because I never knew where and which number my mailbox was in the first place (we have 3 community mailboxes on my block). I show her my DL and lease then try to ask her if I have mail (hadn't checked the mail in a month). She cuts me off mid sentence and tells me all mail is in the box. I get my key, check my mailbox and guess what?? I have a notice telling me all my mail is being held at the post office and I have 10 days (less since I'm just checking it) to pick it up. I drive back to the PO, get in love me and when I get to the front, tell her that she cut me off as I was trying to tell her I hadn't been able to check the mailbox for a month. I give her my fake smile. A few mins later, she comes back with a TUB of mail!! I give her another fake smile and tell her I'll return the bin. The only positive thing about the Perris PO is that the lines require way less wait time than the Moreno Valley PO. read more

I have been being harassed by our mail delivery. seriously though. I have had problems for the last 5 years. Mainly getting the wrong mail or neighbors bringing me mine late. Occasionally sending my packages back to sender because my neighbors go out of town a lot and their box gets full. I approached her directly many times and she was nice, but no change. I went to the post office numerous times and talked with a supervisor, but no change. All while keeping my frustration to myself. I swear being nice doesn't get you anywhere so I put my Karen shoes on and told them any time I get the wrong mail I will be bringing back to them and handing it directly to the post master. Instant change! I have noticed our packages have been beat up a little afterwords. This is one of many videos of the same postal worker. Accountability is important. I would not recommend this post office at all. I've done alot of business with post offices before. I have po boxes in multiple locations. All of them are great but this one. You dont have a key, you don't get your mail. Even if you have your ID and the box is yours. They won't do it. And most po boxes are 24 hours. This place, you can only get your mail from the po box during business hours. I work 8 to 5 everyday. No posted hours or anything. I can't get my mail at all. Honestly this post Office is always busy and short staff.. i come in about 3-4 times a week to drop off my orders .. ALOT of people drop of orders here for whatever small business they got going on . I never was given bad service just a long wait but overall good employees . Keep in mind they are not at fault for staffing shortages . I always stand in line to have my receipts provided for my packages . Keep in mind if you dont scan them in and just drop off its alot harder to deal with "lost packages" . I had about 2 lost packages but thats when i will just toss them on that shelf to the right . Ultimately the worst postal service. I have lost over 5 packages with this postal office. The timing of when the packages are delivered are way off and they even delivered my package at another block . Like how does that happen, I am a business owner to which I do not have a mailbox , neither do the other stores around me , tracking says package was delivered in the mailbox . I have contacted my neighbors if they have any packages and do not have anything. It was marked that it was delivered at 12 , I was waiting for the delivery man since 10 and have not seen anything. My mom sent my kids (who she hasn't seen for over 2years due to covid) a holiday care package all the way from another country. It was not cheap to ship. They never delivered it but the tracking said it was attempting to send it to a completely different address that's more than 100miles away from my address. I called usps at the location and spoke to a very aggressive and rude person named Karina. I gave them the tracking info and they confirmed that the tracking shows that it should be sent to my address and the box has the barcode with the same tracking number on it. But since the address label which the post office put on the box fell off during the transport, they will not send it to me. They offered to send it all the way back to my mother though, in another country, for an additional fee on top of hundreds of dollar she had already spent to get it delivered here. I responded saying this makes no sense when there was no mistake made on our end yet you think it's ok to charge more not to deliver it to the originally intended address. While I was talking, Karina said "bye bye" and hung up on me. She also lied about emailing me the picture of the box which I never received either. They lie, they steal, and they got away with it. I agree with Jessica below. I have been trying to get through for over 3 hours. I had to drive down there on yesterday with my 4 kids! What an inconvenience. I had a package that was "delivered" yesterday... But it wasn't actually delivered. As soon as I got the alert, I checked my door, then my mailbox immediately. Nothing was there. This is the FOURTH time this has been an issue. They are so dishonest. They scan the package saying it's "delivered" when it never really is. I spoke to a Jerry at the post office and he had the nerve to tell me it could have been placed in the wrong mail box, and that hopefully I have nice neighbors who will return my package!! Ummm NO!
