Normally I have good luck with UPS. Except for my most recent package when they decided I apparently don't live where I've lived for the past 5 or so years, and received packages. Unfortunately I haven't been able to talk to the local people to get it squared away. And they're closed on the weekend, when it'd be easiest to get there. read more

I would call it the worst service in the world. A Bose entertainment system was left in a flower bed next to the street. If that is not one dumb move I have never seen one. Of course we all know stuff happens, but it just wouldn't be as exciting if they used consideration, professionalism, and technology to give you updates, to you let you know your package is delayed, told you why it's delayed, let you know if perhaps the driver crashed and the truck blew up, or if he stole the truck and drove it across the border. It's the suspense of it all that's exciting really. There you are, anxiously wondering if your priceless family memories will arrive after paying UPS almost $150 to ship a box and them telling you it'll arrive by 7P on Sat, but Monday morning you're still waiting on pins and needles while there's been zero communication between the company, the driver, and you. For added fun you can try to talk to their chat bot and after it's quickly driven you berserk you can request customer service to call you, at which point you can speak with a woman at a call center in the Philippines who knows nothing, because she only knows what you know, which is what's on the site, which is that there have been no updates since your package left the origin site 4 days prior. I can order a $10 item on Amazon and track the driver on a map, minute by minute, and know how many stops he has before getting to me, yet UPS can't send me an email, a text, or update their system to let me know if I even still have a package coming. How is this company still in business? To add to this clown show you can call the number they've listed on the right. It's for Allstate! They said they delivered my package to my front door, but nothing was ever left. It's like pulling teeth to get a human on the phone, you can't file complaints easily on the website and when you finally do they always refuse to take responsibility for the fact that they miss deliver items to wrong addresses constantly. It's a huge issue in my neighborhood. read more

Overall let's sum it up, UPS more than sucks! The delivery drivers lie and they are thieves. This is the second time of having major issues with expensive items, the cheap stuff they never lose. I paid to get a package expedited, tracking info says "receiver refused package returning to sender" UPS never showed up, they were never on my street, there was no doorbell ring, no knock, and no attempt to come at all but had they try to deliver it and had there be no one at home, they decided to not come back out to the house so after 1 lie of an attempt they just return to sender. The first time a $400 whiteboard was "lost" and this time a 6k check. I called customer support and they can't do nothing but document your words, I was told a manager from the Round Rock, TX distribution office would call in the morning when they open but there was zero calls made to my phone. So it's concluded you don't have to have communication skills, no education, no integrity, or even common sense to work at UPS. It is over populated with the liars, the non working, and the dumb, most of all though -- the dumb. read more

When restricted to move about during these challenging times it's good to know a good shipping company has your back to get things to and from your business. Well, UPS is unfortunately not living up to that good standard. After having a damaged shipment picked up for a return to our vendor we learned it was lost just a few days later. We made several calls at the local level only to be placed on hold for over and hour each time and other times we were "disconnected" and had to start the entire process over. We have the driver and truck number on video picking up the package yet still no help from UPS. It's been over 2 weeks and we're still at square one. No help from customer service either by phone or email. And we wonder why their competitors are recommended locally over UPS?? read more

Received six large boxes at my front door that should go to my neighbor at least six doors down. The address is clearly marked on my front door and clearly written on the boxes. Both are hard to miss yet somehow the driver missed it on six boxes. I have called the UPS "Customer Service" several times to ask that them to remove the packages from my front door each time I was told that they contacted the dispatcher at this location and that that person would contact me. I have yet to hear from that person and the boxes (six and blocking the entrance) are still outside of my front door. Who do I speak to about this? read more

I rarely leave reviews, but sometimes the service is either so great or so terrible that it requires letting others know. I have a business in Kingsland Tx and have had a UPS account for years. Have had the pleasure of knowing a lot of drivers. Most of them have been great. Until now..... The delivery driver Mark... for Kingsland has got to be the rudest driver we have ever had to deal with. No personality what so ever, just straight rude, refuses to drop my packages inside my business, instead drops them in our shop in our techs way. He is a complete D!C#!!!! We were told " I will drop them where I want its not up to you". As I said, every one else has been great, even the sub drivers or temps. Every one is always happy and friendly, speaks to us, greets us, asks if there is any thing else we need, not this guy, not a hi, hello or kiss my toe. Now we are told after years of service, after years of business, that he will not pick up our out going packages. Suddenly its a new policy. Which we looked into; It is not a policy according to corporate. If we have packages coming in, it is free for UPS to pick up our out going packages with created labels. So who is the liar, corporate or a lazy truck driver that doesn't want to take 28 extra steps (yes we counted) to drop packages inside where they are suppose to be dropped and pick up out going packages. If you don't like your effing job then find a new one, there are plenty available right now. Maybe its time to start using a new delivery company. I wonder when Amazon is going to start their own delivery service, they get every thing out on time rarely damaged and their employees are nice. read more
