I have seen a steady decline in service from UPS in the past 30 years. My delivery guy is even passive aggressive. When asking for him to leave a pkg inside garage door and not by front door due to threatening rain he left them out front on a patio exposed to rain and sprinklers. when I tried to call local UPS distribution center the phone number is never picked up. Leaves my weekly meal delivery boxes by the front gate to be mauled by the neighborhood bear even tho the gate code is on the address label. I'm incredibly frustrated. This is by far the worst location in the entire universe. Not one time have I ever received a package from them. Every time they swear before all God's angels that it was addressed incorrectly which upon me picking my package up is never the case. The incompetent less then third grade educated delivery person never leaves a note saying he was here nor do they ever return calls when you call to complain or inquire. What's worse is I literally looked at a delivery man via security camera pull up, look to see if my office door was open and leave without even getting out to double check or leave a notice saying he was here..... WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO CLOSE THIS BRANCH AND SHIP DIRECTLY FROM ONTARIO.... Even the so called manager there is a joke. I went there to pick up a previous delivery and decided to speak to him about their bad customer service and was directed to go to what appeared to be an empty loading dock..... after ten minutes of standing in the sun waiting, with no regard to "do not enter employees only" postings I began walking in doors until I found this "15 year old" manager sitting in an office with co-workers eating hot Cheetos and laughing..... unacceptable. I would give a zero actually. UPS delivered a heavy package to my home on 2/9/18. They did not ring the bell and I was home. Instead the driver put the box in my patio and broke my tile in two areas. The manager Tony Puebla and the assistant Mona at the San Bernardino office have not responded to my emails. I was assured their insurance would cover this claim but nobody has ever called or repaired my damage in 2 months time. What a terrible way to do business. read more

I got tired of having packages left at the street instead of the front door, so I signed up for UPS My Choice, where supposedly the recipient can give directions for leaving the package. The name is mistaken; it is UPS's Our Choice No Matter What You Say. I tried leaving a note at the street and drawing arrows in chalk all the way to the front door, which is on the front of the house like everyone else's front door. It worked for a few deliveries. I got a notice that I hadn't been home to sign for a package, when I had been working at a desk by the front door all day long without even a bathroom break. The truck never came. The day was foggy and cold, perhaps incompatible with brown shorts. On another foggy, cold day, a UPS driver hid a package for my neighbor under a low-growing juniper bush. If they had a way to give no stars I would because UPS is horrible I've been waiting for my packages for awhile now and my delivery date keeps being rescheduled I've called twice and been promised that it's on the truck for delivery! Well my packages have been on the damn truck for delivery since Monday and yet I still don't have them! I don't give a crap that there backed up then stop making false promises to your customers because all it's doing is pissing us off! One of my packages I'm waiting for was sent from a city that's an hour from my house last Wednesday for my birthday well still waiting for my damn birthday present! This idiot gets out of his truck to leave a sticky note on my door every day even though I have thoroughly explained several times to the person in the Philippines who doesn't give a rat's crack about the customers where they should leave it. The driver was great,he made my delivery at 3pm and I was happy with the condition of all 4 packages. UPS gave me great service. I retired from FedEx after 25 years and was a supervisor up to a terminal manager. I know what the management,drivers,dock associates have to go through to give excellent service. UPS came through with flying colors. I will recommend that what ever shipping needs I have I will be proud to use UPS again. Thanks driver for being so kind. I'm mad that this center is saying that they can't deliver today because of weather conditions. I live in Crestline, Ca which is in the mountains. The mountain area's did have a lot of snow and rain with the last 3 storms. But where Running Springs had 5 feet of snow, Crestline which is lower in the mountains had more rain than snow and only had about 5 inches. The sun is out today, the roads are clear and there is no problem to get to our house. This is not the first time they have said they aren't delivering to us because of weather problems when there wasn't any on that day. We had a delivery yesterday from another company which is one of the worst delivery firms and the roads where a problem yesterday. Get your act together UPS. The UPS central processing center changed the delivery address of my package because it was a PO Box. They sent it to an address I last lived at in 1988. I called and was told they could not discuss any details of the delivery because I was not the customer! They would not tell me how they retrieved my old address in another city. I own several properties and I still own the one where they sent the package. I filed a complaint but they have closed the claim without assuring me that my packages won't be delivered to my other properties. I am also a customer! read more

I dont know why people dont do there job properly. The guy was so lazy thet he didnt bother to look at the mailbox and left reporting "Not able to determine the mailbox number". I mean how hard it is for someone to open the mailbox and read the number or even call the number on the packet. When I contact the support the guy said you should mention the mailbox number on your address. In my apartment there are multiple mailboxes with the same number so its not gonna work and I receive mails all day long from different providers with no issues. I wish I could have given them zero stars. Worst company ever. The driver said he came to my door and attempted delivery. No one ever came by. No notice was left, and I can see anyone who walks past my apartment as well as up to my door from my couch. When I called, they pretty much accused me of being a lair and said there is nothing they could do until Monday. I will never buy anything that is being shipped through UPS. Worst service ever!!! I was there earlier in the day insuring that my pkg would be available for pickup. The lady told me that it was on a truck but would be back and ready for pick up during will call between 7:30-8:30pm. Upon my return at that time, the guy at the desk takes my tracking number but cannot locate my pkg. He asks me wait so that he can go talk to whoever is in the back and find my pkg. He comes back and tells me it's on a truck still and needs to find out where the driver is at. 45 minutes later, he comes back and tells me he has bad news... the truck driver won't be back in time for me to pick it up. He then proceeds to tell me that no one had informed the driver that anyone was waiting for a pkg on his truck bc they assumed he would be back. Then he tells me my only option is to come back tomorrow. That would be my 3rd time returning to this unprofessional place. What's the point in paying for shipping when you gotta drive 3 times to this place before u can even get ur pkg!! Ugh!! read more

Another day wasted! This will be the third wine shipment that UPS has managed to ruin! UPS will send a notice that I am receiving a shipment and that I have to be at home to sign for it. The best they can say is that it will be delivered by the end of the day. While they tell you what day, they have not even been able to get that right! I waste the whole day waiting and then they don't show up, so my wine gets driven around for 2-3 days in the heat until it is totally ruined. I get my normal delivery at about 1:30, but when wine is involved, they seem to get great pleasure is giving it a couple day tour before delivering it between 6-8 at night. One day I even saw the UPS truck drive by my house (I live on a corner) at about 1:00, but not return until 8:00 that night to deliver my package. I have stopped using UPS for any shipments and have cancelled wine club memberships because they insist on using UPS. UPS has to be undoubtedly the worst carrier in existence. FedEx and USPS are far superior at delivering packages on time and in undamaged condition. I firmly believe it is the result of poor management from the top (Scott Davis) down. The organization has two options during the holidays. Option 1 is to hire sufficient personnel (drivers, sorters, loaders, etc.) to handle the increased volume of packages that occur during the holidays in order to avoid inconveniencing the customers. Option 2 is to hire insufficient personnel and avoid delays in deliveries. Can you guess what option UPS chose? It's option 2 ! ! I've had a package that arrived in San Bernardino by ground delivery two days ago and it continues to sit, along with hundreds of other packages, in one of two trailers that have not been unloaded or sorted because UPS did not have the foresight to hire sufficient personnel to process the packages. To add insult to injury they tell the package owners that there is no rescheduled delivery date because of THEIR backlog. There you go. Customers are inconvenienced and do not get the service THEY paid for so the UPS fat cats can make more money. My recommendation would be the following. If everybody, I MEAN EVERYBODY, would ship using USPS, FedEx, or some other carrier, the public can put them out of business. read more

I'm fortunate to have cameras on my property. I too have experienced delay after delay as of December 3 trying to get my package delivered. It's on the truck out for delivery then due to an emergecy situation it's delayed. This went on day after day for 6 days. Finally I got notification through UPS My Choice that my package was delivered to my porch at 7:44 pm on 12/9/15. I was home so I looked on my porch and there was no package. I LOOKED AT MY CAMERAS AT 7:44 PM AND SAW THE UPS TRUCK DRIVE RIGHT PAST MY HOUSE. When I called UPS to tell them I have proof on a USB drive that my package was not delivered they didn't want to see the footage. I now am going through the claim process (8-14 business days). I now have to buy another Christmas present because I won't get my package. It is LOST. Maybe the seasonal help they hired are stealing the packages to make extra money. If I don't get my money refunded I'm going to the news with my camera footage. read more

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. The ups man would not give me my package because I wasn't 21, so I asked if he could drop off the package to my moms work. He seemed to have no problem with it, he said "if I have time I will" after I called my mom to let her know she kept an eye out. She saw him at the front desk and noticed that he didn't drop off the package she went outside to ask him before he left and began to yell at her claiming "I'm not going to drop off the package. I'm calling security services etc" later that day I checked the status on my package and called my local ups to ask if I could pick up it up with an adult. They seemed to have no problem. Once I arrived to pick it up, the lady at the desk was even rude. I explained my side of the story and she didn't make eye contact, claimed she doesn't handle complaints and that I have to "call customer services" while I was explaining my horrible experience, she was talkin to other people around her. I have a package for overnight delivery and requires signature once received. Unfortunately, no one can sign for the package and was sent back to the warehouse in San Bernardino by E. Victoria St. The package was delivered at 2:30pm, no one can sign...UPS is giving the customer until 7pm the same day to call customer service if chosen to pick up the following day. My point is, why such a short notice to call the customer service (given 'till 7pm) for pick up request option for the following day when we don't come home late after work.They should hire more people to work on weekends to accommodate this kind of situation. Per customer service, no one is working on the weekend to give out packages for pick-up in their UPS warehouse. I was hoping to receive the package on time, and not 'till Monday for delivery again? I am really so disappointed. I was so excited to receive my package that day or at least the following day, but this is what I got! I will suggest to the sender to avail services from a different company for customer satisfaction. read more
