I don't know about the tea. Had a taste to it like when it starts to almost sit too long. Next time I'll just have water. So much flavor, and the steak was perfectly tender. The restaurant has food nailed. And our server was amazing. Unfortunately, th manager did a poor job estimating how busy they'd be on a Friday night, so the two servers were running ragged. The manager pitched in, but they were playing catch up with the silverware and we had to wait for it when the food arrived. Which, no biggie, but it was a fork when I had steak and my husband had a messy burger. So we right away asked for knives. I pointed out my steak, and the manager got snarky with us like she got it. But then she brought us butter knives. When I got up and went to the bar to ask for a steak knife, her attitude was even faker. I don't abide fake when someone's eyes and mouth clearly say they think you're stupid or annoying or both. As a manager, you learn how to school your face and keep people happy or you don't last in management long. Also, if she miscalculated staffing, then it should have been her job to get into the bathrooms and keep them presentable. They weren't. Paper everywhere, and the walls need some serious touch ups. It's hard for people to trust the food safety if the job-food public areas aren't kept clean and well-maintained, you know? We'll be back because the food IS awesome and we always have an enjoyable meal. But they definitely need to turn an eye toward building upkeep and service.

Everything was fresh, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. Honestly, it couldn't have been any better. What elevated the experience to another level was our server, Taz. I've been in countless restaurants over the years, and every once in a while you come across someone who is simply exceptional at what they do. Taz was one of those people. She was warm, attentive, professional, engaging, and very cool. She seemed to genuinely enjoy taking care of her guests. She made us feel welcomed from the moment we sat down and played a huge role in making our breakfast meeting such a great experience. Before leaving, I actually sought out the manager, Shelby, and asked who hired Taz because I was that impressed. Shelby told me she did, and I told her it was a fantastic hiring decision. Then I got to thinking, whoever hired Shelby deserves some credit too. It's clear there's a great team and culture here. The food brought us in, but Taz is the reason we'll be back. I've tried some of the burger variations and they're delicious when you'd like a change. Salads are basic and the green chile stew is thin. The worst thing I can say is that one of the cashiers is way too assertive about soliciting tips at the register. Unprofessional, and rude when I finally decided not to tip her. That was a first for me! Especially since everyone else on staff is amazing! So Do give it a try. I've returned many times and am usually happy if I order only my favorite burger! One final note: the wait for a meal can be long at lunchtime, more than 30 minutes for a burger. The patio's gorgeous, though, so if you're socializing and not on a tight schedule, it's worth it!
