Seem a like a common complaint on the reviews for upstate jeep.... last week I took my 2015 jeep wrangler in for an oil change and inspection. This place took advantage of me being a female and taking my jeep in....No problems with the oil change and come time for inspection they told me my jeep needed tires and brakes... they removed my inspection sticker before asking if I want to have the work done right then and there.... I took my jeep to my hometown mechanic and had him look at my jeep. I didn't think my brakes and tires needed to be done and my mechanic verified it, neither of the parts needed to be fixed in order to pass inspection... my husband called the dealership to question what they said needed to be done and after a few words exchanged the manager told him to take his business somewhere else.. this place is a joke! read more

Shortly after picking up driveshaft, noticed snap ring not locked in channel. Very dangerous! Sent picture to manager. He said was not going to drop everything to attend to the driveshaft. He said drop off the driveshaft and he would look at it when he has time. I paid $373.36 for the ujoint install. It should have been professional. Long story short, one hour after picking up driveshaft, I had to take it to another mopar dealer which was great. They looked at it, noticed the problem, and agreed to order the another ujoint and install under warranty. If this was gone unnoticed, , this would have been a bad situation when the spinning driveshaft fell off. Very bad! In addition, upstate entered the wrong vehicle year and model on the invoice. They also entered the wrong vin# which caused unneccesary confusion when the other dealer went to order parts under warranty. The unsafe installation should have never went out the door. I did ask to speak with the service managers supervisor, but I was told supervisor was on vacation in florida right now. read more

Horrid service and no ethics. While we own a vehicle purchased through Upstate, there is absolutely nothing positive to say about Upstate Dodge service department. They show zero support allegiance for customer. When I went there for an inspection, they stated they could not pass it, immediately providing a quote for urgent repairs, which I confirmed didn't need to be done. When confronting the manager pics there was no apology, just a bs excuses. Earlier, when we had an issue with the vehicle at 25k miles, they tried to sell service before ever checking out recalls, service bulletins or warranty. They're just trying scam their empty calendars full. Go elsewhere- anywhere else. read more

I'm visiting from out of state and punctured my tire on my 2022 Pacifica. They got me in the same day w a 1pm appoint. Showed up at 1 to the nicest crew I've ever experienced at a dealer. They got me right in. Waiting in a nice clean waiting room. And got me out quick. Patched my tire. Filled my washer fluid. And offered an oil change. Excellent service. Then they sent me a sarcastic message wondering why I lost interest in buying from them by asking me if I was "Eaten By An Alligator" wth??? Initially, someone contacted me & took my questions & said they forward my info to another person that "would help" me with my purchase of a high end truck for my business. I ended up trying to contact this dealership several times to get answers to my questions and always got the same answer... which was that someone would contact me soon. I never was contacted (except by the manager asking if I have been eaten my an Alligator), 0 answers to my questions, the truck I wanted is still for sale & still no effort on their part to help. I walked in on a Saturday morning not knowing what I really wanted in a Jeep. Nickole Millette took me through each model and we test drove from the bottom of the line up. After test driving a 2019 Cherokee I fell in love. As a first time car buyer I didn't know what to expect so naturally I called my parents to come help me out. Nickole was not pushy at all and made me feel totally comfortable throughout the process. She didn't make me feel rushed and when things weren't going our way as far as insurance she never once showed frustration. Instead, she offered water and tried to help keep the mood light. John was also a big help in getting my new car home to me. The teamwork at Upstate is great and I really felt that they valued me as a customer. When everything FINALLY came together Nickole went through every feature on the Cherokee with me again. She even went as far as giving me her cell phone number in case I needed anything. We purchased a vehicle from Craig Crandall over the internet. He said there were $400-500 worth of parts was all the truck needed to pass NYS inspection. Once it arrived at our location there was a total of $5,300 worth of work that needed to be completed. We were mislead and Upstate did nothing to resolve the issue.
