There are finches in the store like other reviews have said, but I think to say that that is unethical is a misconception. The birds have a cage large enough for them to move and fly about in, it is stocked with toys and food. I have seen staff (maybe the owner) interact with the birds while I am shopping, so they are given attention. I have seen no signs of aggression in my many, MANY moments watching the birds while friends browse the store, meaning they are likely well socialized. I was never told about the 10 days policy and since I had gotten a text receipt - the policy was not in writing on the receipt either. They did not attempt to offer any sort of accommodation. A simple exchange would not have cost them anything as the shoes were 100% unworn. If the shoes were no longer in stock, I would have understood paying a restocking fee of a reasonable percentage in exchange for store credit. Instead I was RUDELY dismissed. I cannot recommend this shop based on this poor experience.

The staff were really knowledgeable and patient with us as we took over 45 minutes to decide on the 13 different pieces. Due to the pandemic we haven't shop as much. At the register they carefully checked for items that should be for sale for us and ordered a different size for a jacket to be shipped directly to San Francisco. They recommend several pieces that we normally wouldn't have picked out and this was really a godsend since we have a shop for a while and were in a time crunch . The quality above average and the styling seems to hit just right for the teen and young 20 demographic. Staff goes overboard to assist on our visits and returns are easy within 30 days no questions.
