Wow! This place gets all the stars for great customer service. Upon arrival I was greeted…read moreimmediately, told about the sales, and chatted briefly about the merch. Contrary to how some boutique thrift stores can be, the ladies here were very nice! I was impressed with their wall to wall selection of staple and vintage clothing items. The curation of this place was a nice mix of estate/heirloom pieces that ranged from tweed jackets, wool skirts, silk blouses, to an ample selection of accessories for both men and women. There were even a few formal wear dresses for black tie events or weddings. The quality was still top notch. I was also impressed with their men's tie selection, noting that there was one from Oscar De La Renta (very cool). Overall, a good variety of clothing for both men and women. The furniture/kitchen/art/textile/book selection was fair but not as extensive as their clothing. I did also note a beautiful Persian rug for sale in their entrance way. All in all, I would definitely recommend checking this place out. Based on my conversation with the sales associate, they tend to bring in new (well, "new" being relative as it is a gently used shop) items frequently. The pricing is reasonable, the parking is easily accessible (there is a lot right in front), and the store is located in the shopping center off of Preston Ave. Happy hunting!

Good selection, decent prices, and a few gems. They also have a $2 rack in the back if you are…read morefeeling lucky.

To start off, you're better off going to Forest Lynchburg Virginia for their goodwill, much bigger,…read moreway bigger selection and MUCH better prices, second of all "neanne" the assistant manager was just completely rude "following a policy" which has never been enforced at other goodwills i've been to and being unwilling to work with me over an employee discount, I live an hour and a half away so i can't just go back home to be able to "follow their policy" she was just rude and moody wouldn't reccomend this store to anyone at all.

Don't bother with Goodwill... There is not goodwill in their mission objective, just greed and pay…read moreout for the executives. The idea and intent of Goodwill started good enough but that is no longer the case. There's no 'profit' per say, because of accounting practices and distribution of unused revenue amongst the upper level executive. The clothes are no longer a good deal, nor does the business exist to transfer the goodwill of those that donated the items. They get it for free, why sell them at eBay prices? It's becoming a scam really... The following numbers are a couple of years old, it's expectingly higher now. Key Employees and Officers Compensation Mark Barth (President & Ceo) $411,189 Desmond Carter (Coo) $267,017 John Leopold (Vp Enterprise Support) $219,372 Take your items to those that give them out for free or actually sell them at prices that is befitting a store set up to help tie the less fortunate over. Goodwill is BS. Don't do it.
