The owner/ manager of this place is loud and rude to her employees in front of customers. She also embarrasses people who come in to sell their clothes. I was just a customer yesterday looking around the store and this lady was yelling and loud as ever! I felt so bad for people who came in to sell their stuff. This woman needs to learn some class and professionalism. You don't run a small country, it's a store! Try treating your staff and customers with more respect!! You are only embarrassing yourself! Staff was extra friendly and informative about the selling process. I arrived at 10 am and the buying process took about 30-40 minutes for two bags of items. You're allowed to bring one big bag of clothes & a small bag of shoes or accessories. I got $110 for 30 items, which is pretty good as I was just going to donate my clothes. They were able to donate the rest of my items that I didn't want to keep anymore. I also shopped around and got a vintage Diesel top for $50 & a John Galt shirt for $7. Items for sale seem to be appropriately priced too so I was happy about that:) One thing that really stood out to me was how sweet the staff is, literally every person I interacted with was lovely both times I was there. Kind folks at the counter greeted me when I walked in the door and helped me fill out my profile to get the birthday discount I didn't even know about:) Fitting room staff was sweet and engaging-- talked to me about their process of picking display outfits for their mannequins:) Mind you I was exhausted and not bringing much of my personality to the table so it was all them being awesome:) great experience! This place is amazing, it is one of the few thrift shops that is not over priced for basic clothes. They have a big selection of styles for any person and the prices are amazing. I have seen cute Levis jeans for like $15-$30 dollars in excellent condition. Definitely affordable while also providing cute clothes and accessories!!! They have brands like juicy, old navy, coach, Abercrombie and fitch, and many more. The service is also really good, all the employees are kind and willing to help customers and one time the cashier was even complimenting a sticker I had on my credit card. If I wanted to donate for free I would go to a women's homeless shelter to give for absolute free, your business is advertised by many because of the monetary gain you get for thrifted clothes. I'm still so confused by an interaction that happened when I tried selling my clothes. I brought in a Madewell dress, an Anthropologie dress and an Italian leather bag. When I returned back to find out what they were going to keep to resell the person says--"oh, I loved the boots, we'll give you $12 for them." I reminded her that I didn't bring in any boots and that I brought in two dresses and a purse. She said she still would only give me $12 for one dress and one purse, and then gave me the Anthropologie dress (worth $120) back to me. I'm just confused by the way they assess for pricing here. How could one dress and a purse be the same pricing as the boots she thought I had brought in. And it was the way she said it too, super casually with no acknowledgment of the mistake and no explanation as to why there was no price difference when I pointed out the mistake. Honestly, I wish I had said something in the moment, but I was so tired from waiting the hour to get my items assessed that I took the $12. Kinda stumbled upon this store by accident and it's a pretty cool concept. I went in not knowing how the process worked and they explained it to me and it's very easy. You bring clothes that are lightly worn and not old and they give you cash for them. It's a seasonal thing so they are looking for specific stuff. Once I had an idea I came back with some items and the first time they picked a few items brand names of course but scored a good $23. They give you cash or store credit and it's always a bit more so you can shop around. Went in again after cleaning my closet and took some workout items (Gymshark) I had an idea that's what they were going for and scored $18 & was able to score some cool shorts I had been looking for and still took some cash home. Pretty neat store. If you have a big bag of clothes they are very selective so you can take it back with you or you can donate as well. The store is great and way better than Goodwill and Salvation Army. The clothes are in great shape and don't smell bad at all. Amazing designer stuff and top shoes for a good price. Their fitting rooms are spacious and they are always nice. The customer service is great. There is shared parking with the sushi Restaurant so that's never a problem. Inconsistent service depending on who's on duty I'm a regular and I genuinely love this store--the selection and prices keep me coming back. On Labor Day (Monday) there was a long line, but the manager was on site and my clothing appraisal was finished in about 30 minutes. Smooth and organized. A few days later on Wednesday, there was no line and I was able to drop off my clothes quickly, but I ended up waiting about an hour for the appraisal. During that time, the front desk team was chatting, and the person appraising was joking around with a coworker. The manager wasn't there, and it showed. It felt a little rude to have customers waiting while staff weren't focused. I still love shopping here, but please be more considerate of customers' time--many of us are on work schedules and can't spend an extra hour waiting when it isn't busy. Consistent professionalism (especially when management isn't present) would make a big difference. read more

Across the street from the other place is 2nd street store who is in the same line of business in Torrance . Cheapskates parking is not easy . They have a vast amount of items in the store . Friendly , nice people. But it's such a long wait and the location of the intake of items is cluttered and can be a bit much as by the time one person gets the offer ready for the seller of there items another person shoves them back into your bag to take home so it's a real long process . I watched this over and over again that one person there selects your items to get the order then another person"boss" turns back the item . My items which I bring are washed and pressed and by the time they give the unselected items back - if not selected - I would have to clean them again as sometimes they are on the floor or bunched up. The process could be more streamlined in my opinion with less people handling each item more than once. A year ago it was a bit better but this last time that I went to sell my items it was disastrous. That's my experience and opinion . Not sure if I will be back but whoever is managing or owning the store should know that a once fun store is like a thrift store -- I'm sorry to say that but it's my opinion. My friend introduced me to this place yesterday and I fell in love. It doesn't have that crammed feeling you sometimes get at other thrift shops where it's impossible to move around. This place was also very clean, had great lighting, friendly staff, and honestly a pretty large selection of all types of clothing pieces and jewelry, etc. Parking is ample as well! read more

Usually when I go it is very crowded and there is a long line, but today there was less people in the store and more space to move around. I took several items for consignment, was told they couldn't authenticate several pair of Air Jordans, and at least six pairs of Nike shorts. I was told clothes need to be 2:years or less to sell. If that's the case half the store should be empty. I took same items to Plato's Closet and was paid a fair price. Also was told they could or would donate for me, why?, how would I know they didn't put in their inventory and sell. I voiced a review, never received a follow up or call back. Such a cool find :) the variety that this spot has when it comes to clothing, shoes, and everything in between is a pleasant surprise. All of the staff are really nice and helpful, so you never have to worry if you need any assistance. You can also bring in clothes/shoes that you want to sell and they will happily help! Totally recommend this place. First time doing this so I'll give you a heads up. You go in and stand in line if there's one. Then you check in and someone takes your items. They allow one trash bag of clothing and small bag of shoes and accessories. Then you wait around 30-50 mins. Depends on how many ahead of you. Finally they call you and pay you cash for the items or extra if you use the money there. Now please ask what has been kept and how much they gave you as you may not think it's reasonable. You get a receipt but it's not itemized. I learned this today so just giving you a heads up. Everyone is nice. And the line moves father quickly. read more
