I had to use the table next to that uncleaned one instead. Aside from that, I would return for another round of their drink or their Organic tea bags to go next time. But yes, we Do need to wash our hands, so I had to use their hand sanitizer as alternative and wash my hands at the next venue I supported which was Mendocino Farms, Burbank, CA. Apparently whoever was working there today has never heard of a strawberry and banana smoothie before. Lady said "we have strawberry and bananas but we don't know how to make it". Literally the dumbest thing i've ever heard LMAO. Ended up ordering a tea and mango smoothie and both drinks were mid, nothing special. We needed coffee and it was "coffee shop late" which means after 3pm. We were driving down the street and my job, as passenger, was keeping an eye out for a caffeine dealer. I almost grabbed the wheel when I saw Uptown Coffee on the corner! We parked in the large parking lot behind the shop and went in passing the outdoor seating along the side street. OK, first off, they are open till 10pm every night! That's right 7 days a week 8:30am to 10pm!! There is plenty of seating inside and a small stage in front so I'm guessing the have live music at night. They have a solid coffee menu and the pastry case looks like the have an actual pastry chef filling it. We were just there for a quick coffee so the tasty treats will be for the next visit. Which will be soon :) I had a Cortado and my son had a Latte. Both were excellent and the friendly barista made them quickly. Afterall isn't that what we're all looking for in a coffee shop. Yes, they are in Glendale but very close to Burbank. So next time you go to Ikea Burbank stop here it's just a few minutes away :) read more

TL;DR- Friendly, cozy, clean shop with good coffee, pleasant decor, Armenian influence, and *lots* of comfy workspace with outlets. Plentiful nearby parking. Needed a place to study and do work for a while, and this was the closest coffee-shop that looked like a coffee-shop to me. It's very inviting and shop with nice decor and lots of light. The staff is friendly and told me what a plain Armenian coffee is before I ordered. The coffee was bitter, potent, and felt full, almost like a less sweet and less bitter espresso; I'm a fan. Seating is very comfortable, lots of scooped leather chairs and cushioned benches to park yourself in. There are tables everywhere and seemingly an outlet (or even power strip) near each table, so it's a wonderful place to get a little work done. Parking can be found in the back lot, on the street, in the nearby grocery store, or in the nearby neighborhood. Between the relaxed vibes with old Spanish/ Italian/ Armenian(?) music mixed with disco, pleasant people, clean workspace, and good coffee, this is a place I'll be coming back to a lot. read more

Needed a caffeine boost in Burbank and this was a cafe I came across in my searches. I got a ceremonial grade matcha latte with oat milk and it was really good; the color looked great and it was aesthetically pleasing to look at when it was placed on the pickup counter. It took a little bit for my drink to come out, but I could tell it was because they were taking great care in preparing it correctly. There were a bunch of baked goods and food items to order; lots of seating (both inside and out); and even a band set up next to the front window, which had me wondering when they have live music during the week! The staff is very friendly and I finally learned what Oat milk was since I ordered a Cappuccino (I wanted a whole milk alternative). My wife got her favorite Latte. I recently tried out this coffee shop on a quest to find a new local spot near our house. This shop had unique options of treats and drinks that you don't see everywhere. My group ordered Armenian coffee (recommended by the cashier), matcha, and an almond cookie. The star was the cookie!
