CASH ONLY!! They have an ATM I was in the mood for something sweet and this was the EXACT thing that I needed. With the crepe, you get a little bit of either ice cream or whipped cream! The crepe is a good portion and very very sweet. Honestly, I needed a bottle of water after this because it was so sweet. They have seating inside, but it is not good for large groups. Groups of 2-4 are probably good for sitting here though! I came on a Sunday night and there was no wait to order. I'm so glad that I found this place! I definitely want to come back again. FYI - I called and they said that they close at 4am everyday (I may have honestly misheard though).

Cutesie place and good food items. Too heavy on the Nutella though, my partner got the crepe and it was way too much Nutella. I got the strawberry covered in chocolate, they were good.

Creperie on Ludlow St came up in my search and we happened to be down that way on Sunday. I'm also a huge ice cream and gelato fan, but husband is lactose intolerant so he prefers non-dairy. Last year we discovered the amazing vegan ice cream at Orchard Grocery, but I wanted the real thing this trip and he apparently hadn't wanted a frozen treat at all so wouldn't do Orchard Grocer for himself and a different place for me. Happy medium? Share a good crêpe! We found it at Crêperie. SO many choices, many similar to ones we loved in France. Extensive selection, but it didn't take long to decide on the apple-walnut-caramel crêpe to share, costing not much more than 2 ice creams. We watched the lone young man as he poured batter onto the round griddle to just the perfect thinness; as he expertly flipped it; as he loaded on plenty of apple compote, plenty of walnuts, and gently squeezed caramel sauce. Then he folded it into a neat rectangle, scooped it into an exactly the same size pan, flipped the whole thing over onto another griddle and left it to heat while he made a crêpe for the person behind us. At exactly the right moment (was he watching the clock? or maybe he's just THAT good!), he flipped it over, slid the crêpe onto a plate, artistically drizzled more caramel sauce on top and then gently shook some powdered sugar over it. Handed me 2 forks and knives and we sat on stools at the counter for our Sunday afternoon treat! Excellent! They have several savory crêpes (in Paris, those were usually buckwheat crêpes called galettes) and many sweet ones. Unfortunately it's more of a takeout place, with just the few stools at a counter inside, and a couple of small tables outside. I'm still looking for a genuine Parisian-style restaurant with a good selection of galettes and crêpes - but this was a great find and I definitely recommend it to you!

After walking around, we decided to eat at La Pizza & La Pasta. What We Ordered: - Focaccia Bianca: Focaccia + Rosemary = Count me in! I love rosemary and focaccia, so this was perfect to start the meal. I loved the Olitalia extra virgin olive oil it was served with, and definitely would order again! - Limoncello Spritz: I'm in my summer spritz era, and adored the limoncello as you usually just see Aperol. Very light, refreshing, and a great drink to sip with my meal. - Diavolo Dolce: My coworker ordered this, and I tried a little. Hot spicy honey paired with whipped ricotta was truly divine, and the other ingredients complimented as well. Ultimately, I was left with entrée envy as I wish I ordered this. - Bucatini Cacio e Pepe: Very underwhelming, and I even spent $12 to add shrimp as a protein. I'd skip this next time as there are far better Cacio e Pepe out there. - Add Shrimp ($12): This came with only 4 shrimp, which means each shrimp was $3. I was flabbergasted at the price for the portion provided. It wasn't even that great of shrimp, I'd skip next time. Our waitress wasn't very talkative, but pleasant. Another member of the wait staff dropped off food that wasn't ours, so we had to flag down the waitress to take back. Thankfully, we didn't touch our food. Our food would arrive shortly, and allowed me to take in the scenery. Eataly is remarkable in size, selection, and felt like the Disneyland of Italian cuisine and products. I'd definitely return, but likely skip the Pizza/Pasta restaurant to try another restaurant or service counter instead. Heck, even make sure I had a checked bag to return home with some goodies packed in my checked bag from Eataly. Definitely stop by if local or visiting the area!

We were not demanding but it seemed he was tired because he never greeted us and seemingly impatient by a wine question. Later my husband had to wave his hand just to get a beer after the waiter suddenly chipper chatting up a couple next to us but pretending we didn't exist. It was so bizarre...maybe he thought we were tourists. He never asked about how our apps were, but allowed the empty plates to stack, then he begrudgingly asked if we wanted dinner. Seriously, he seemed more interested in wiping down the bar and seeing us leave. Then when we all 3 attempted to look at the ready made pasta case we were blocked by stock person who didn't care that we had hoped to buy a sauce without being edged away. What has happed to the incredible kindness that we always felt? I had a dinner party there over a year ago which was perfection, we've eaten at every station which had wonderful service until last night. It literally took away from the whole experience and was frankly sad. I'll never sit at his station again. But kudos to the wonderful pasta chef. Get your pasta to go...

After patronizing the restaurant for few years, for the first time I sat at a different table. As I was about to ask to it at my usual table, I figured try something new to view the restaurant in a new vantage point. The melodic instrumental upbeat jazz music sets the mood. This time I noticed for the 1st time there is a tapestry on the wall near my usual seating. Hadn't noticed it before. Also, noticed the outdoor garden seating area. Ambiance is still cozy, casual and warm. The food par usual is delightful. Bountiful, with varied notes and flavorful is the Cassoulet Toulousain with a side of spinach. It's a winner every time. I swear the next time I am going to try another dish but why mess with perfection. I opted for a zero proof house made Natural Hibiscus Ginger drink and water. Service is always A+ with Christoph.

The cozy, bistro like dining room is in the back of the storefront. The menu offers up familiar dishes (escargot, onion soup, mains, savory and sweet galettes and crepes): we split an order of escargot, bouef bourguignon, and a galette with chicken, walnuts, goat Cheese, and emmenthaler The "escargot" (broiled oyster mushrooms in a garlic plant butter sauce) didn't hold together, but were tasty nonetheless. The "beef" came as cubes of a pea protein based vegan meat in a fantastic, richly spiced red wine sauce with fingerling potatoes and carrots, while the Mr Seguin galette was an excellent buckwheat crepe with pea protein chicken, walnuts, agave syrup, "goat cheese", and a coconut based emmenthaler. Combined with friendly, knowledge service: this is absolutely a destination for an upscale vegan meal And: the bakery at the front isn't to be missed - a selection of "buttery" pastries and cookies are out on display
