Love this place! Best burger in Dallas...but, today had one of Cyn's soups. Chicken Cordon Bleu. Amazing!

Nothing special just a good ole fashion neighborhood bar where you can count on good drinks and conversation.

I really want this place to be my go to bar, but it doesn't have very good deals or food (not that I have tried much).

I've lived in Dallas for about three years and have always passed by this place and thought it looked so cute, but boy was I wrong. I don't know if I went on a bad night or what, but the place smelled like sewage and the crowd was totally lame. It was Saturday night and this place was dead. It may have been because it was cold outside and this is more of a summertime/outdoorsy place. I don't really know. All I know is that the lame crowd, dim lighting, and horrid smell turned me off for good. read more

Met friends here last weekend. I was pleasantly surprised. It was a Saturday evening (early) of wasn't full of 20 something's doing what ever they do (I'm too old - don't remember). Service was good and the beer was great. Made meeting coworkers even more fun. I'll certainly being going back. read more

Uptown area without the Uptown Douches. Great karaoke on Wednesdays and outdoor Karaoke on Sundays! Bring the dogs for the large patio and stay for the great drinks and friendly staff! Small parking lot but there is a garage right across the street so don't fret if you can't find a spot! read more

This place is just begging for a bad yelp review, and I got to give it to them, they did a phenomenal job of this and just made it very easy. A few of the highlights are forgetting our appetizer, serving drinks at the bar in solo cups, overcooked food, leaving off crucial ingredients in an entree, waiting 10 minutes at the bar for a water, warm beer, overcharging our tab, and best of all, literally no service. On a Saturday afternoon, they thought it would be a good idea to have one employee serve the entire bar and restaurant. I'm actually impressed this restaurant is still in existence. read more

I've been going to Uptown Pub for years now and I have to say that it is one of my favorite places in Dallas. I will go to Uptown Pub before I go to the gay bars any day. The service is amazing, as is the food and everyone here (employees and patrons alike) are laid back and inclusive. Love it! read more

Patricia rocks. The floor may creak and the food is par, but the fire outside and the bartendress are very warm. I can't believe a house like this is left standing in uptown. Another racist uptown establishment. My friend and I met up for drinks here and we weren't greeted for over 30 min, and two guys greeted my friend like a mob and told her she couldn't have her dog inside the establishment unless it was a service dog. But, yet I was sitting inside with my dog and they didn't say anything to me. I ordered a drink and the bartender said it would be 7.94 and then oh I meant to say 10.94.. did you change the price because of the color of my skin ?? I then asked one of the guys to help move my drinks and chips and queso outside and he was like I'll get your waitress. I said Sir, all I need is two additional hands. He reluctantly helped me and what was so strange is he brought the chips inside with him,? I went in and asked why he did that? We were still eating those ..He said oh I was going to have your waitress bring them with you're check.. I said WTF? That doesn't making sense.. why would you pick up chips we are still eating in the middle of our conversation. And you see that I'm eating them ? You could tell this place didn't like anyone that wasn't apart of their regular people. And on top of that they added their own tip to my check. My check was for 11.00 and they charged my card for almost $15.00. What a waste of time! Racists, bigot pricks! Grow some balls and serve your customers, no matter what color!! read more

This place is so gross and it smells like feet. I ordered a 'brisket cheesesteak' and it came on a hamburger roll. A cheesesteak is traditionally served on a long roll because it holds up better. The brisket was so absolutely loaded with pepper that my eyes were tearing and I could barely eat it (in their super dark 'dining room'). We love the place to get together and hang out. On many occasion this has been a great place to get together and unwind from the day. We just got done filming our third episode here and for guests and host alike it was a great place to sit down and chat about everything going on in Uptown, Dallas and the Metroplex. With great beer specials and food as well you can't go wrong weather it is just to meet friends or to come after a move from around the corner at the Magnolia this is the perfect place to be. read more

Me and two of my friends sat outside waiting on a waitress from the time we got there until the sun set (about 1 hour). The waitress was a blonde woman who assisted the table right next to us, in front of us, and one across the patio so there was no specific zone. Even when another friend arrived to our table we were still not assisted. After trying to catch her attention multiple times my friend got out of his seat, tapped her on the shoulder, and after serving another table she finally turned around and said the bartender would be out to assist us. It's a down to earth comfy dive. I'm been staying downtown and disappointed w taste everywhere I've eaten, overpriced and lack of courtesy. This pub had a great fresh burger and nice golden fries. Best food I've had since having to be here to get away from hurricane Irma. Reasonably priced. Friendly, attentive. Was given helpful information where to go and how to get around. read more

Place has a horrid odor and the daytime bartender acts put out every time a drink is ordered. If you are a bartender and act annoyed when a drink is ordered you should probably find a new job. This place is also sinking. You can stand next to the bar and feel the lean inward. The best thing about this place is the patio where you can people watch. read more

I have passed this place a lot and never stopped. But one night we were looking for some late night snacks and fun so we decided to try the Uptown. One of our party had been there before so she knew what to expect. I had no idea I would have so much fun just chillin' on the patio doing karaoke! Turns out, someone in our group knew the KJ doing the show which made it even better! I didn't try the food which means I will have to go again but the drinks were quite tasty! The crowd is eclectic but it doesn't detract from the atmosphere of neighborhood dive. Which is great considering its uppity location! Even though the weather is getting colder, they still utilize the patio with a tent-like cover so you can still smoke and enjoy your adult beverage of choice. The only downside is the area and the parking! I suggest you Uber or Trolley to the location from a lot downtown. It will save you the aggravation of parking! read more

Monday Trivia is fun and the bartenders are very friend/make great drinks. Has a neighborhood bar feel instead of the more corporate/pretentious bars that are more common in uptown. The tater tot appetizers are delicious also. read more

This place tried to over charge me 20 percent to tip themselves. There's no gratuity required and I was gonna tip before getting taking advantage of on my 21st birthday. Save yourself the trouble and go to a real bar that doesn't smell like old people. read more

The atmosphere is charming with the wonky floors and traditional pub feel. But the food is terrible and the service is worse. It took us 15 minutes to get the attention of server or bartender so we could cash out; they place was half empty and all 3 employees were behind the bar on their phones. We won't be back. read more
