The experience itself was equally efficient and sufficient. Think of it like a deli style, quick in & out sauna and cold plunge experience without the extra bells and whistles of a traditional spa. I reserved the Contrast Therapy Suite 2 XL, which includes a sauna, cold plunge (metal bath tub), and standing shower, $95 for 60 minutes. The suite also has a bench, hooks, and a shelf for belongings, so no locker is needed. You get the entire private suite to yourself or your group, up to 4 people. It's comfortable for 3 to lie down in the sauna, and spacious enough for 4 seated. The cold bath and shower are one person at a time. There is a speaker to connect your phone for music, though pairing did not work for me. There is also a remote control for different color lighting, which adds a nice touch. I would describe the "cold plunge" more accurately as a cold soak, since it is a bathtub rather than a standing ice plunge. That said, I really appreciated the full privacy of the suite. You don't have to move between shared spaces, and you can fully relax, even be completely nude if you choose, which my husband especially appreciated for his first experience. The facility itself is compact: - 4 single sauna rooms (no shower, and I was told it's recommended to wait at least 30 minutes before showering after sauna) - 2 private Contrast Therapy suites Suite 1 fits up to 2 people seated in the sauna with red infrared, and is ideal for one person if you want to lie down comfortably. Cold bath and shower are also one at a time. Andrea was the staff member during my visit, friendly, helpful, and welcoming. It is on the pricier side for a 60 minute session without a steam room, but I truly value the efficiency, simplicity, and privacy, especially for those who are always on the go. Parking: free, unlimited street parking on most streets around the studio. They offer memberships and intro packages depending on your needs. I would definitely return when I want sauna access without planning days or weeks ahead like traditional spas. I would book Suite 1 for solo use on my next visit, or Suite 2 XL again if sharing the space privately with friends. Here's how it works: -You'll go in, and they'll send you to the float room. You'll shower, cover any scrapes with some vaseline and then go into the chamber (naked!) for 60 minutes. -You can use earplugs or a little floaty if you need some help keeping your head up. -Then you'll relax and drift away on a cloud of saline. The girls who run the place are very sweet and the costs are about what you'd see elsewhere. Highly recommend!

I like to arrive a few minutes early so I sit for a couple of minutes in the very pleasant waiting room and look at the lovely art and listen to the pleasant music as well as treat myself to a cup of herbal tea. I also attend the Mindfulness Meditation group and that is really great for mental calm and relieving any stress. the other group members are wonderful. Discover Balance gets 5 Stars from me and I am grateful for their kindness and healing abilities. I highly recommend you try one of their offerings.

I know I had blocked chakras after the death of my husband; I felt anxious, depressed, insecure, and emotionally unbalanced. Through weekly treatments, my anxiety and emotions were corrected. She even sent me home with little seeds glued to strategic points I could press when I became overwhelmed. I was so grateful. She also takes insurance, which was a big help for me. What surprised me most was how spacious the spa actually is--it looks small from the front, but once you're inside, it opens up beautifully. Before starting, Lisa went over my goals and what kind of experience I wanted: therapeutic, relaxing, or something with skincare tips for aftercare. I chose a bit of both, though I quickly realized I got mostly the therapeutic side... because I was so relaxed that I fell asleep! And I appreciate that in the end she still went over what was used and what helped my skin. Shout out to the heated table! After coming back for our appointment at 4:15 pm, we were treated by a guy who took us to the back and let us soak into this amazing hot water tub. We ordered two: Serenity: $75 per person: 45 min. foot reflexology 15 min. hand reflexology 15 min. foot soak After our feet were soaked, we were taken to a room and it was just us two. Very peaceful. The chairs were comfy. The pressure was also not hard, but not soft either. It did relax our legs and feet muscles a lot, we were less sore than ever. I think the price is a bit high. Parking was easy to find. It's street parking so just need to pay thru the kitty parking app.

Despite repeatedly asking him to apply more pressure, I eventually decided to end the session early. They sent in a female therapist instead, and she was fantastic. However, she stopped after an hour even though I had paid for 90 minutes, so I had to remind her. While I appreciated the quality of her massage, I was disappointed that no discount was offered for the disruptions. Because she did such a great job, I booked with her again--but this time, the experience was completely different. She didn't ask about my pressure preferences or problem areas, and I had to request deeper pressure multiple times. She seemed rushed, as if she just wanted to get through the session. Had I not experienced her skill before, I might have considered it an average massage, but knowing what she was capable of made it all the more frustrating. I won't be returning. Time to explore other options.
