Would just like to add that I would avoid getting a membership at Sweathouz at all costs. I decided…read moreto try out the 4x monthly membership due to it being the least expensive way to book sauna and cold plunge appointments. I intended to go to Sweathouz through ski season and cancel once I was not skiing as frequently, so at the end of March, I called and asked to cancel, as the app does not give you the ability to initiate the process (the app is pretty terrible across the board). I was texted a cancellation form that I completed and submitted. The next day, I received notice via email that my cancellation "request" had been submitted, and that the manager of my location would need to approve it. I had no idea that I had to *ask* to cancel my membership. 5 days later, after hearing nothing, I called and asked for an update. I was told that no manager was in, but that he worked from home and the woman I spoke to would ask him to look into the issue. I heard nothing, so tried calling back later on and had to leave a message, which was never returned. I had an appointment scheduled for the next day, so was thankfully able to talk to a manager about it, who saw no record on my account of the cancellation request (the cancellation confirmation email had my location's email cc'd). Sweathouz has a 30-day cancellation notice period (something I find ridiculous and scummy), and I couldn't help but feel like they were stalling to confirm my cancellation so that they could get another membership fee from me. The manager confirmed that my membership would be cancelled, and that I would be charged another month, but I never received confirmation in writing that this was the case. This was after I ran into issues just trying to get a PDF of my membership invoice; there seems to be a grave lack of understanding of how to complete basic admin processes here. Sweathouz advertises that you can use an HSA or FSA to pay for your membership, but then they 1) don't allow you to access your invoices in the app, and 2) seem to make it difficult for even the employees to simply email an invoice. I spoke to 3 different people before finally getting my invoice emailed to me.

Unfortunately, my experience did not meet expectations. I called specifically requesting a deep tissue massage, but was told the available therapist, Noel, did not offer that service. I was instead recommended a therapeutic massage with medium-to-firm pressure. Unfortunately, the pressure was very light and did not address any of the tension or knots I was hoping to work out. I regularly visit spas and have received Swedish massages that were significantly deeper. While Noel was pleasant, the massage simply did not meet my needs, and I left feeling unsatisfied. I was also surprised to learn at checkout that there was an additional charge to use the spa amenities. In my experience, amenities are typically included when booking a treatment. Had I known about the extra fee when I asked about amenities while booking, I could have made a more informed decision. The jacuzzi ended up being the best part of my visit, but I go to a spa primarily for the quality of the massage. Overall, I left feeling that the experience was not worth the cost, and I do not plan to return. I'm giving two stars because the front desk staff was friendly and the facility itself appeared clean and inviting.

Family fun and worry/sunburnt-free!…read more These days I'm all about finding that perfect balance between work, spending time with loved ones, while enjoying activities. That's why I'm obsessed with this new find in the Southwest community! This neighborhood community center has cool activities like two indoor pools. One is designated for laps- 9 feet deep and the other includes a wading pool with slide, up to 4 ft and 6 inches at the deepest. I also love that there is a shower and lockers open for use so you can clean up before heading to the pool. The kids seem to absolutely love it - there are tons of other families with little ones. Open pool time is ~ 2-4pm, go early so you can get in. There's a capacity limit, our visit happened to be 75. If want to make it, BE THERE EARLY. Can not stress this enough. It is not the staff's fault if you can not get in. There are standards for a reason. You do not want to be cooped up in a space where it can not accommodate for more than what's expected. You also want to keep in mind that there are lifeguards to look out for everyone's safety and well being, so please be mindful of that as well! There are also other parts of the center to enjoy, such as an indoor basketball gym, rollerskating sessions, aqua aerobics, gym, and even dancing. It's the perfect blend of family-friendly fun and adult-approved relaxation. If you're looking for a place with a strong sense of community, stunning scenery, and a pool that's basically its own mini-vacation destination, then this is your spot! Totally recommend it! P.S. If you ever see me poolside with a noodle in hand, say hi! I'm learning how to swim - and it's fun to make some friends while we're at it!

So kind of difficult to express concerns, dissatisfaction, or ask questions. Yes, I have used the app in the past. I have since replaced my phone (reset apps), have multiple apps from multiple providers, and honestly it's difficult to keep them all straight. Expecting me to only communicate through an app and never receiving even one phone call back from my voicemails is just more confirmation of my position. At no point was it explained to me that I will now have to send in paperwork to insurance myself. It seems like the front desk person could've easily expressed that to me, instead of just repeating "payment is due at time of service". I was also never given any notice about being able to keep you as my doctor, I was just sent to a new Dr without notice. Yes, I was recently finally prescribed HRT, after two separate rounds of trying botanicals (and expressing that they didn't work, which both sets of my labs supported), and demanding it in my last visit. I really do appreciate finally receiving a response, even though I had to go to this extreme to get it. I too am hurt by the lack of care and communication, as I have been a responsible long time patience. Also very disappointed that the response takes zero responsibility for poor basic office communication. I will be requesting my medical records and seeking care elsewhere.

They were friendly but not in that fake way that you see in a lot of the surface industry. I was offered a choice between tea and water and was given my paperwork to fill out. My facial with Terril was very relaxing. We went into the treatment room and discuss what my concerns were with my skin and what I was hoping to get out of my appointment. Terril was very attentive, asking questions along the way. One thing I really liked was that the table was heated because I've been having some issues with my back that make it uncomfortable to lay down so having that heated surface under my back made my appointment even more relaxing. My skin felt amazing when she was done, even though she had to do a few extractions. I was so pleased that I went ahead and scheduled an appointment for a few months out so that my skin will be able to recover from the upcoming summer months. I highly recommend checking out this wonderful little spa and I look forward to returning for my next facial.
