The food is okay. The service was great. We came in close to close & were happy to find the customer service doesn't dwindle the last hour of business open. The vibe was very chill & relaxed for us, which I wouldn't expect being in DTC (I liked it.) But the food was nothing to write home about. They really emphasize the raw/organic ingredients so I was expect more flavor, but it seemed bland. The blueberry pancakes were the best part by far though. So get those if you go!! read more

Bad experience. Server didn't say there was a large upcharge for a small side of fruit. Apparently, that is mentioned somewhere on the menu, but it wasn't written near the item my friend and I ordered. The server offered it as a choice without clarifying that it was an extra charge item. Also turns out there's a service charge percentage added to the bill. On the menu in smallest print at the bottom, I saw after I questioned, that it says a customer can tell the server if they don't want to pay that charge. I didn't see that at the time. I don't read every inch of a menu, which is what they're counting on. Also the server charged a dollar more for each entree than was stated on the menu. Server and manager made me feel like they were doing me a favor to adjust the bill after I questioned it. I didn't actually see the breakdown of the bill until AFTER I was asked to sign on the server's electronic device. I asked them to void the whole bill and start over since I'd already signed it, but they wouldn't do that. They allegedly "adjusted" it somehow. Food was fair and the served food was mixed up between my friend and me. I didn't get one filling that I ordered. Prices are high. I've been there many times. It used to be good. The menu must be new with new charges I haven't seen before, and wasn't charged for before. Left a bad taste in my mouth in more than one way. I won't be back. read more

Visiting from out of town and was running errands with my bf's grandma. When we saw this place nearby, I put our names on the waitlist around 10:30 for 11:45ish seating. Turns out I put our name down for the cherry creek location and realized only when we were done with our appointment. We decided to go the belleview location and explain my mistake. The staff was so understanding-- Brenan sat us immediately and checked on us throughout our meal. James, our server, had a positive energy too and gave a ton of recommendations. Everyone helped make today a memorable day! Customer service at its prime... nice that they remember we're all human and sometimes just need extra help to get it together. Great breakfast spot. Definitely recommend the pancakes. Surprised it was so busy at 10am on a weekday but we were still sat pretty quickly. Food came out fresh, the loaded hash browns were as expected, not extraordinary. The pancake sampler is a must, love that they let you try their variety of pancakes because I was having difficulty choosing! The blueberry crumb was topped with a lemon zest butter which really added to the flavor, the Hawaiian had many fresh chunks of pineapples in the batter, the strawberry cheesecake was as expected but nothing over the top. Through my travels both locally and abroad, to find a perfect breakfast spot is the ultimate mission. Today I found a top 3 contender, and one that I look forward to dining at again every time I'm blessed enough to come to Colorado. Urban Egg, previously Over Easy from Colorado Springs, has multiple locations, all of which I'm sure are incredible. I was greeted by Bernhard, a master of his trade, with elegant and concise info (since it was my first time here), including "everything's fresh, we don't even have a freezer". I ordered the steak and eggs at a competitively priced $18, and a side of their understandably so, award winning green Chile sauce. The coffee rubbed steak was incredible, the melon salad perfect and refreshing, and my god, the mushroom and onion sauté underneath. Good to luck to the rest of my vacation, this set the bar high. My fiancé had a perfectly executed omelette, the filling to cheese to egg ratio was on point. The fennel apple sausage was not overwhelming and HIGHLY recommended. The wait here is absolutely crazy. We came here on a Wednesday morning around 9:15 and there was still a long wait. We added ourselves to the waitlist while we were driving to the restaurant, but when we checked in, we still had to wait an additional 20 minutes for our table. Usually the Yelp waitlist is awesome, so I'm not sure why this restaurant's timing was so inaccurate. Anyway, when we finally got seated, I was pleased with our service, and the food was solid. I ordered the pancake flight (1 strawberry cheesecake, 1 blueberry streusel, and 1 chocolate chip). The pancakes were huge and very filling. I obviously loved the chocolate chip pancake, but the other ones were unique and pretty tasty. The strawberry cheesecake and blueberry streusel were quite sweet and got a little soggy towards the end, but still overall enjoyable. read more

What can I say about urban egg. At this point my hubby and I are here almost every week! I don't have pics bc I mean I'm too busy eating. Everything on the menu is delicious - some of our favorites are the stuffed French toast (the vanilla - caramel sauce or whatever they put on it is addicting) - the breakfast tacos (good mix of different things, I get this when I want balance), the steak and eggs, chicken and waffle (this is a Benedict but I like to get the eggs on the side and hold the hollandaise to make it more if the traditional chicken and waffle meal). For two or more people I recommend getting one sweet dish and one savory dish and then splitting because they're all really good. Drink wise, I get the coconut dream when I'm feeling fancy and otherwise just get a cappuccino which is good. Oh and they have amazing fresh fruit drinks as well- I like it more nutritious so I go with the urban beet, but I will say it's a bit tart (I like that personally). Service wise they are always super friendly - that's a part of what keeps us coming back. The manager is especially super warm and always checks up on the guests, the host is very friendly and accommodating and the wait staff is super fast and on its It's usually packed on the weekend but you can use the Yelp wait list so that you can "wait" from your couch lol. They always seems to be able to fit folks in there and the atmosphere feels like brunch. We Love it. read more

The juice I ordered perfectly blends the earthy and sweet flavors together to create a refreshing, healthy morning juice. The breakfast bowl is likely good with any of the 2 sides/toppings you get to add, but I chose fresh basil and pico, then topped it with their spicy green hot sauce. I haven't tried any other combinations, but I'm partial to what I chose at this point. It was good! There are so many tasty looking pancake options available, but my stomach capacity would only allow me to try one, so I chose the dutch apple pie pancake... and I did not regret it at all. I'm usually pretty skeptical about traditional American brunch/diners because the food can be so boring sometimes. Overall this place had great options for brunch, healthy options, good standard cocktails and drinks. Around the table we ordered a bunch of different things and not a single person was unimpressed.
