Yes I love a good seafood boil and hot pot. I love the condiments, sauces and food bar. They have half crabs, shrimp tempura, dumplings and more. I love the decor and high technology. The robot that brings you your food is awesome. The servers are very attentive and accommodating. The only downside is that they do not serve alcohol. If they did, they would have 5 stars. I'll definitely will be back.

Great portions and fresh ingredients. Was a little overwhelming for a first timer - there aren't many instructions or staff around helping. But there is a fun robot that brings around food which is cool.

As a big fan of hot pot, I had to try this spot by Columbia Mall. This place has parallel parking out front and shares the mall parking lot so theres plenty of spaces. This place is a bit smaller than most hot pot places ive been to but the service was great. You take your order on a tablet and a robot will bring your food. The servers will clear plates often to keep the table clean. The food was great. The broths were flavorful, meats and veggies are fresh, but the sauce bar was lacking. They didn't have as many options and dont keep it well stocked. They do have buffet hot plates with fried foods like shrimp, chicken nuggets which were decent. With tip, it ended up being right under $100. Great place!

Loved ordering from the iPad, the food kept coming. We ordered multiple times and got several rounds of meat, mushrooms, bean sprouts, fungai, udon and ramen noodles. Portions were generous and fresh. We had cake and tapioca coconut dessert, so yummy. Friendly staff, definitely coming back!

I had a wonderful lunch at Urban Hot Pot. I have never eaten hot pot by myself before and didn't know what to expect on portion size. So I ordered what I wanted to eat thinking they would give me small portions, but they have very generous portions and I couldn't quite finish. The hot pot ingredients were very fresh and clean. I ordered medium spicy and it didn't taste as spicy as I expected, so next time I can try spicy. They had the robot guys bring plates to people, I wish I had more stomach room to order more food so that the robot can come to my table. So fancy and modern! The restaurant is conveniently located right across the street from the mall. Parking was easy. Bathroom was clean.

Urban Hot Pot offers a unique experience of all-you-can eat hot pot of veggies, meats and seafood within your own personal hot pot. It's a different way of experiencing food and I highly recommend. The wait for a table can be at least 40 minutes during the weekend so I suggest getting there before the lunch or dinner rush. I believe there is a two hour limit once you are seated. Once seated you order your food via a tablet and the food comes out quickly. We ordered a ton of meats, seafood and veggies. It was a great experience to cook your own meal at the table. The robot, Jessica brought out some of our dishes. My favorites included the sliced US beef, octopus, baby bok Choy and all of the mushrooms. Be aware most of the broths are pork based, the veggie and chicken broths are both good. The spice levels can we very intense, I prefer the less spicy option. The price for the hot pot is about $35 per person and dessert is included. I will definitely be coming back.

One of my favorite hot pot places in the area. The broth, vegetables and cuts of meat are always consistent. Yes some of the meats come out frozen, but 2-3 mins in your steaming hot broth will cook everything. The location has tables on both sides. There's a conveyor belt in the middle with some random ingredients. I really like the high ceilings and Koi fish lights on the ceiling. The music here can be a bit loud if you plan on taking any calls. I've come here for lunch and dinner. Dinner is about $10 more at $35. You get some more premium cuts of meat and they offer better seafood options a la carte. Service here is always on point. There's always a staff member close to you ready to clean your table, refill your drinks and the food comes out really quickly. They even feature those robots now to deliver your food. The sauce station is always clean. Definitely try their meat sauce. If you're by the mall or Columbia in general this is the spot for hot pot.

Regular diner here!! Like mentioned in my last review, me and my girlies always come every few months to have some good food and catch up. We love it here. Here are some recommendations when ordering: (MY) ORDER: Pick 2 seafood boil (snowcrab + crawfish) SUB sausage for extra corn. SAUCE: x2 Cajun, x1 garlic butter, x1 lemon pepper (yes, I order the sauces just like that) SPICY SERVICE: for how busy they typically are, they do great.... There's also a call button on the iPad if you need AMBIANCE: love it. All booth seats

Tip: Pack your patience if you get there when it's busy; the wait can be lengthy. Urban Hot Pot is a unique hot pot spot because it has a Cajun seafood broil menu. We did both hot pot and ordered off the Cajun seafood broil menu. The hot pot is the Individual pot style. The menu consists of the standard hot pot items; meats, veggies, seafood, etc. The Cajun seafood broil menu had a variety of different options that was a mix of crab legs, shrimp, sausage, potatoes, and crawfish. You can add extras of some items for an extra costs. The flavor was excellent and fulfilling even without any extras. It would be nice to have more options by the pound of an item rather than base options that's not specified to one item. Note, not all items were available for extras that we wanted. For example, we wanted more crab legs than sausage. Based on the available additional options, what we wanted extra and for the price; we ended up just getting an entire bag of Cajun seafood broil to make sense of the price. We shared the extra bag. It would have been nice to just order an extra pound of crab legs. Overall the dual option of hot pot and Cajun seafood broil was a plus and great. We'd definitely go back again.

I was a little worried the food wouldn't be as good because it was so busy, but that wasn't the case at all. We ordered two Combo B (OH SNAP!) and one Combo F (FEELIN' CRABBY). For one of the Combo B, we added an extra 3 lbs of crawfish, 3 lbs of clams, and 2 lbs of Dungeness crab. For each pound of seafood boil, it comes with one corn and two potatoes. The seafood boil was drenched in their ultimate Juicy Special sauce. Their sauce is so good! It's packed with bold flavors and a nice spicy kick (This makes it addicting). You also can't sleep on potatoes and corn! It's soft and sweet which balances out the bold tastes! If you're craving a seafood boil, Juicy Seafood is the place to go! Everything tasted amazing, and it's such a great value. If you're not sure which sauce to choose, just go with the Juicy Special. It's hands down the best! I'll definitely be back for more. Thank you for such a great experience!

Yes, we were inundated with menus, and I believe we ordered an item from each one.. Lol! We sat at the bar, so service was immediate. The bartender was super engaging and you can tell he loved his job. He was extremely knowledgeable on all the menus which we found impressive! Everything we ordered was very good. For appetizers we had raw oysters and calamari. For entrees we went with the Halibut and the Beef Short Rib. Again, all tasty! The drinks were also made to perfection. If I lived closer to Columbia, this restaurant would be in my regular rotation. Unfortunately I don't and The Collective Offshore isn't the type of restaurant I'd routinely drive 45 miles for :(. It took 20 minutes to get 2 beers brought to my tables I ended up having to go get the waiter ask if my beers were ready and when we asked for crackers or bread, he told me that he couldn't bring it unless he charged $$$ me for it. Now that is ridiculous. I've never been charged for bread or even just crackers or something to nibble on while you order and wait for your food, but they have decided here that they're gonna start charging for that. Ridiculous!!!!!! and it started out the evening by pissing me off. So after I actually went to the bar to get my own drink, cause I got tired of waiting the guy..... he finally took our order and I ordered a beet salad thinking it had some kind of dressing with a little ranch on the side. Well, I got a salad with no dressing with a little dipper for ranch dressing and had to order regular dressing in addition. I think this was probably the dumb waiter fault for not making it clear to the kitchen that I wanted the salad with the dressing and a little ranch on the side. So blaming him... Second of all, my Date ordered the cauliflower steak, NOTE: couple of big problems. First of all you couldn't cut it with the butter knife that they gave you so it was pretty close to raw versus cooked and so she was trying to saw through it multiple times. When she did get a bite, it was SO OVER SPICY that It burned her tongue off and she ended up only being able to eat 1/2 of her entrée because it was so spicy so that was a bummer. ( not great if you're on a date, ) and I ordered the spaghetti and clams, there were a total of 4 clams in the whole dish, a bunch of chopped canned clams and only enough spaghetti to feed a 5 year-old also ......... it was very small, not very much flavor and for $27 I expected more. So overall, it was kind of disappointing as you can see and for that reason I don't think I'll be going bad and wouldn't recommend it to anyone else because it doesn't seem like they're on the game for the prices they charge. You guys need to pick it up a big notch ...... make your entrées worth eating or buying and improve your service. Sorry, but that's the truth.

My schedule was rearranged last minute on a Saturday so I decided to catch their brunch. The laurel location was the closest to me. There was live jazz playing. I sat at the bar - shout out to Nnamdi who was the bartender and my waiter. Food wise: brunch only offers the $55 unlimited food option for two hours. I was completely fine with this as I was able to taste multiple dishes. I had the fried deviled eggs, Rockefeller oysters, bang bang shrimp, deep fried snow crab legs, pork chop and grits, wings in hot honey lemon pepper (their signature sauce) and the white chocolate bread pudding I enjoyed everything except the deep fried crab legs. The cluster was hallow. I had more fried batter than crab meat. Deviled eggs were my favorite of all the things I tried. And the bread pudding was sinfully delicious . I wasn't able to finish my last two items ordered but luckily I was able to fit it in the to-go box. Most places that serve unlimited food don't allow to-go boxes so I was happy to not have my leftovers go to waste. I opted for the bottomless cocktails as well. I didnt know what exactly happened with tje packaging, so since I was told the problem was "fixed", I took my food and left. The worst part was the deviled egg appetizer. Another casualty of the kitchen, apparently. It looked unappetizing when I got home and opened it, and the crab topping that I paid an extra $3 for gave off a very strong smell (reminiscent of the kitchen of a seafood restaurent) and also appeared wet. I'd guess they took crab straight from a can, put it on top of the eggs, and covered it with old bay seasoning. Very disappointing. Sadly these were not the only issues, as the collard greens themselves were bland and a little tough. There was also a wooden stick in my greens?? Not sure why. Although the catfish was fried well, that's the only satisfactory thing about this experience, and everything else ruined it.
