I don't know what the other 2 yelpers experienced, but in my visits, the hospitality and customer service at both of their restaurants have been consistently top-notch. I've been a regular at their Saatvik's restaurant in Fremont, which is how I first got to know their food and their family. It's a family-run place--not a corporate chain--and you can really feel that personal touch. There's something special about supporting a small business that delivers authentic, home-style flavors. I always order the Delhi-style Chole Bhature, and I highly recommend you do the same. It's the only place in the Bay Area that truly gets this dish right. I was born in New Delhi, and this brings back the flavors I miss every day. As for the ambiance, this location is more spacious and polished than Saatvik's, which is definitely a plus. Don't skip the kheer--it was a pleasant surprise and absolutely delicious. We'll definitely be back soon!

Second day - soft opening. Service was good, ensured our food had arrived. Decent ambiance too. Operating on Limited menu during the soft opening. Chaap was great.

Weekend Thali (unlimited) - kheer, baingan Bharta, paneer shahi, rajma, raita, roti and rice with pickles

Good food, the weekend Thali was nice, satvik, very home-style food. Warm rotis out of the Tava were delightful. My favorite was kathal (jackfruit) curry and their Rice kheer (pudding) was indeed mouth watering. Good vibes, family like environment. The Bombay Sandwich took a little longer to arrive but had great flavors (would have liked chutney condiments). Overall a good addition to Bay area Indian vegetarian food.(They have their other parent restaurant called Satvik at Fremont). The menu is short/limited till 4/5. Good luck to them for their full launch, looking forward

The service was also amazing everyone was so friendly and welcoming! Everything we ordered was delicious. I had the huevos rancheros, breakfast potatoes, sourdough French toast, and a blackberry mojito, and I enjoyed everything. The sourdough French toast was definitely my favorite it had such a good balance of sweetness, and the sourdough flavor cut through it just enough that it wasn't overly sweet or cloying. And my boyfriend, who isn't vegan, ended up finishing the French toast, which is how I KNOW it was objectively delicious The blackberry mojito was also delicious and super refreshing for brunch. I also love that they have outdoor seating, and the area around the restaurant is really cute to walk around and explore afterward. Overall, such a great brunch spot with delicious food, adorable vibes, great service, and plenty to explore nearby. I'd definitely come back to try out the their lunch options

Everything sounded delicious, but we went with the recommendations made by a staff member. We decided to share the infamous smash burger, the watermelon salad, and the pistachio bread. For drinks, we both got an iced lavender latte, which was delicious. I loved how the cardamom complemented the lavender so well and it was very refreshing and not too sweet. The smash burger was the best vegan patty I have had in years. It was very flavorful and moist. The watermelon salad was delicious, especially the avocado mousse. The pistachio cream on the pistachio bread was so addicting. I wish I could have bought a bottle of it! Every single item was crafted so well with the freshest ingredients. It was nice going to a place that focused less on soy, and more on whole foods and flavor. I highly recommend making a reservation, especially for brunch.

When you enter, someone will seat you and then you order everything through a QR code that's on the table. Once you're ready to check out at the end, you can pay through your phone. It's super easy and convenient to be honest. I was really craving Japanese curry and my favorite place is Coco Ichibanya in southern california and although this place is not as good as my favorite place, it was still pretty good and hit the spot for my craving. I got the chicken karaage curry and added vegetables and an egg to it. I was sad they didn't have a Japanese omelette style egg but this fried egg still hit the spot. I believe I got spicy level 2, but it was not spicy at all for me. I do love spice though so I may not be a reliable source for spice levels... I will be getting a spicier level the next time I go though. If you're craving Japanese curry, check this spot out!!! It won't disappoint :)

We decided…read moreto try a couple of new dishes this time, a fish dish and a beef dish with sauces I hadn't tried here before. Both were delicious and a nice change from some of our usual favorites. The tea leaf salad was definitely the star of the meal. It was so fresh and light, and the flavors paired really well with the heavier main dishes. I also really appreciate that they ask how spicy you want your food. That's such a nice touch, especially when you don't necessarily want your meal to come out at the standard spice level. The jasmine rice was fluffy and made a great complement to the main dishes. Everything came out hot and surprisingly quickly, even though the restaurant was busy. The staff is always super friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. They do tend to get busy, so I definitely recommend making a reservation if you're planning to dine here.

The lamb curry had a surprisingly generous amount of meat, probably around 15 pieces, so the portion was good for $23. The lamb was tender, but it didn't have much flavor inside and had a slightly powdery texture. The potatoes were also not fully soft. It felt like the lamb, potatoes, and curry sauce were prepared separately instead of being slowly cooked together. Overall, the food was interesting and portions were decent, but the cooking was inconsistent. I'm glad I tried it, but I don't think it fully justified the price. 3 stars.
