Absolutely loved my experience here! Quinn was so attentive and really took her time to make sure everything looked perfect. She was so sweet and welcoming! My nails came out exactly how I wanted. Walked in w/ friend for a manicure (acrylics/gel polish) and two pedicures. I'm well-informed with the offerings of different pedicure packages and after being seated, I selected one down from top-tier (5 or 6 packages). Looked them over and shared with my friend what was included when one of the manicurists interrupts me saying, "no, no, no ... it's pick one; it's not all-[inclusive]". I begged to differ and after a few volleys back and forth and feeling unwelcome, and a bit embarrassed, a switch went off in my head. I was NOT going to patronize a store that uses this style of "welcome to our salon". When I said for the 3rd time that the verbiage reads "and" ; it does not read "or", she said she doesn't work on pedicures and she'd have to ask someone. So, she engaged with me ... why??? I've no tolerance right now for substandard work and substandard comprehension. We left and I jumped on Google and selected a salon accepting walk-ins. It was my birthday and everything was closed, but I wanted to do something special. So me and my partner came here and got pedicures. We were able to walk right in without an appt, but not sure if it's always like this. It's probably the last pedicure I'll have for awhile professionally so I wanted to make sure it was special. We opted for the 3rd highest level of pedicures (40$) with the extra massage and scrubs, etc. There were some higher level options, but this one seemed perfect for us. It was divine and so relaxing. I really liked that they used individual packets of scrub and other stuff with this pedicure which made me feel like everyone got the same amount and also like it could help prevent some germs. This was only my partner's 2nd ever pedicure, but he really liked it and we both left feeling refreshed. I was very thankful someone had cut his toenails nicely. Did a walk in and went home extremely disappointed. I walked in for a fill and I wanted red Christmas themed nails. As she starts I'm thinking I'll be in and out within an hour. I walked in at 2:35pm and left at 4:15PM. ( FOR A FILL) Besides the long time to do my fill the lady paints my nails red and the color turned into a yellowish-brown. I ask her to try another red glitter and the same thing happens my nail turns yellow. Besides her not being able to find a color that wouldn't turn into yellow, she had fixed my pinky nail that was hanging off and attached it. After attaching it with glue she yanks off the same sensitive nail with a nail filer. (she stated she had forgotten that the nail was falling off) I wanted to walk out with just bare nails with no polish because of how annoyed I was the whole experience. Instead I settled for a terrible silver glitter that was no where near what I wanted. read more

He did not soak my nails, clean the cuticles, file, etc...missed a bunch of essential steps...left my nails clumpy, thick, & stuck to my skin. I provide caregiving services and my clients have a wide range of abilities from somewhat independent to completely dependant. I recently was ask by a client, who recently decided he shouldn't drive, but still desires to have some independence to drop him at Nail Pro to get a manicure. I often am called upon to just transport him to his favorite coffee shop or breakfast place. He is perfectly able to stand up and sit down and uses the walker just for added stability, but is independent. I had the misfortune of bringing him to this establishment where they informed us that "because he uses a walker, they had a policy a caregiver must be present. They further informed me that if he was in a wheel chair they would also require a caregiver to provide service. I informed them that he was perfectly able to sit and get a manicure without the need for a caregiver to stand at his side, that he should be required to pay a caregiver to sit at his side. I shared that in California, it is illegal to discriminate against individuals based on their disability status. Under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), businesses, including cosmetology services, are required to provide reasonable accommodations to individuals with disabilities to ensure equal access to their services unless doing so causes an undue hardship. This means that a cosmetologist should not refuse service to a person using a walker or wheelchair solely based on their disability. It would also generally not be legal to require a caregiver to be present unless it is necessary for the individual to receive the service safely or effectively. I believe that my client faced discrimination based on his disability and while they agreed "to do it this time" they informed him they would not allow it again. Needless to say he is filling a complaint for the violation of his ADA rights and notifying the CA State Board of Cosmetology of this discrimatory practice . If you are in Palm Springs, a person with a walker or wheelchair but independent I would highly recommend you seek your service elsewhere. read more
