I can't begin to say enough great things about Urban Paw Print. They have been walking our dog for over 4 years now and have been consistently wonderful that entire time. I have used Urban Paw Print since I moved to Boston last summer, at least once per month and often more. The team has taken great care of my two cats on daily visits. Generally I have one sitter come over for a requested period. The cats are well groomed and content when I return from my trips, even long ones. I like getting the daily updates and pics via emails or texts, and they will let me know about any changes in their behaviors. Caroline is responsive to my random pet sitting requests, even last minute ones. Caroline has a nice connection with the animals in her care. I have seen her in the park with her charges and talked with her on numerous occasions so I know just how concerned she is with their welfare. I first asked her to care for my cat a few years ago. I met Caroline while she was walking another dog in my building. I had just brought my puppy home and needed to find a dog walker for a few days a week. She immediately put me at ease and I knew she was someone I could trust. Caroline loves all of her clients as they were her own. She is kind and caring and the dogs love her very much. After each walk, Caroline sends an email update to let you know how your dog behaved, what they "did" on their walk and what activities they did during playtime. Caroline has been great. I am a crazy dog owner and I have very high expectations. I have asked Caroline to do all the extras: write a little summary of everyday's walk, put pawz on my dog, leave my dog frozen treats when it's hot, change my dog's schedule, etc. Caroline has always been very helpful and supportive with anything that I might ask. She is a very responsible dog walker, - she has insurance and she will take your dog to the vet if something happens. She will get to know your dog's preferences and will try to make it happy by playing with your dog, taking on long walks, playing fetch, etc. She will also find your dog a friend or two! She sends me pictures sometimes and it's so nice to get a picture of your dog having fun during a long day at work. I have had an unpleasant experience with other dog walkers in the past, but caroline has earned my full trust with my dog. I trust that she will walk my dog for the time that she is supposed to (or even more!) and that she will take care of my dog like I would. My dog absolutely adores her! She is looking forward to their every walk and I can tell that my dog is very happy to be walked by her and to see her friends as well! If you are a crazy dog owner like I am or just want someone who really loves dogs to take care of your own, I would strongly advice going with Caroline! read more

Caroline was working for us for a while with our dog. She was not friendly, charming or anything like it, even avoiding saying Hi. She lost two collars of our dog in a week. One of them with the state tag, that she promised to help to recover or to replace. That never happened. Thanks to someone who found it at Commons called us and sent it by mail. I don't know what else can I say about this "dog walker." I guess she is better with cats that don't need to go out. Poor service and worse personality with dog owners. New to Boston city living a year ago, I walked in the Common with our two yr old Golden Doodle to expressly watch the different dog walkers and to check out their skills . Top on my list was kindness and patience with the puppies when their owner was not present. I found that person who kept bending over to encourage a reluctant walker, squatted down to pet him /her until the dog continued the walk. I approached him with the idea of asking who he used for dog walking and it was James of Urban Paw . I got the company info and quickly met Caroline the owner the next day who came on an assessment / evaluation walk with me and Rookie( our doodle) and she couldn't have been more thorough and professional. We subsequently had Matthew ( James brother) as our Dog walker who is fabulous too! The scheduling and billing processes are excellent, all on line, but Caroline is always available by text or email for emergency requests. Like so many other reviewers, I have only wonderful things to say about Caroline and Urban Paw Print. I have a very friendly cat named Frank and he means the world to me. I was a little dubious at first about the idea of a cat sitter and until this spring he had always gone to the cat hotel (aka the vet) when I was away. Frank, however, despises the MBTA and always gains a disturbing amount of holiday weight when he stays at the vet, so I decided to try it out. I found Urban Paw Print from the myriad stellar reviews here on Yelp. Very rarely do 5-star yelp reviews live up to their claims, but I have to echo everything that's been said here - I cannot imagine a better cat sitter than Caroline. She really is as good as it gets. She came over initially to meet Frank. He immediately took a shining to her (and her bag!) and she made me feel comfortable by asking lots of questions about Frank, his personality, what he likes to do, what he eats, etc. It was fantastic to find someone who so clearly genuinely cares about the animals she looks after. Caroline has visited with Frank a number of times over the past few months and I'm able to enjoy my time away knowing that Frank is in the best hands. I love that she sends an email from each visit with a brief note on what they did and an awesome photo. (Seriously, she should charge for pet photography, I'd be first in line!) If you're looking for a cat sitter and you want the best one in town, then there's really only one place in Boston that fits the bill: Urban Paw Print is truly the cat's meow. read more
