Nice place in the middle of pearl. Big window to look out, spacious and open. Liz, was wonderful masseuse, my feet were so happy while she was giving me great pressured massage (good and hurt!). I also like that they support local owned businesses as well, use nail colors from @palatepolish which has many nice creamy color and sugar scrub from @kore.herbal. The mint and eucalyptus scrub smelled good and refreshing. I may be a little pricy compared to other salons around here, but I was pretty happy when it got all done. read more

Awesome waxing studio! Very clean and relaxing space. Waxing services are quick, high quality and just about painless as they get.

I found this place last minute and I'm grateful she took me as a walk in because a client canceled. The lady(Chelsea) who did my nails is really nice but did a horrible job. I had gel nail polish on prior to getting a new gel manicure. It was an additional charge to remove the old gel nail polish. That's fine. She had another appointment in an hour, so because time was counting down: 1. she didn't take off all the old gel polish completely 2. she asked if I wanted my nails cut I said no and she didn't bother to file them at all. 3. asked me if it's ok not to do my cuticles because of timing. 4. Told me she couldn't do the hand massage 5. Apply the polish in a rush. Turn out terrible and not smooth. End result: my nails doesn't look smooth. You can still see my old gel polish. It wasn't neat at all. I've never went to a nail salon where I had this type of service. I definitely will not be going back. read more

Came here for a gel manicure 3 days ago and am disappointed in the experience. While applying the gel polish the polish would not properly dry and I suggested that either she needs to change polish or place under the UV light longer, neither of which she did (would not leave my hand under the UV light for a full cycle and rushed through the whole thing explaining there was a client after me) While my nails were not drying (bubbles sitting on the nails) she went to ask another employee for assistance she took off the final coat and reapplied it - and told me this is because the polish has been sitting for months (again, we're all very sympathetic to the COVID situation but I don't expect to have a bad nail job because you haven't replaced your polishes)... I allowed her to continue and try to even out the manicure and here we are- polish on three nails peeling by the next day. The nail salon is clean and cute and I'm completely disappointed because the price point is much higher than places within a 10 minute walk of the salon and I can assure you I wouldn't the needing to get theirs redone by day 3. read more

Not your ordinary nail shop. It's like the pleasant middle ground between portlands local nail shops and finger bang. It's not too much, it's just enough. The environment is pleasant to spend the time with your nail stylist. I see Leah, ALWAYS. I've never tried anyone else. Leah is my own personal preference because she's just the freaking best human! I usually get a regular pedicure and a gel manicure with nail art. The prices are transparent even though I feel like when you go to a nail shop like Marjorie May your budget goes out the window. Creativity takes over and you dive right in. If there could be suggestions I would say.... Allow us to book more time for Nail Art with our stylists and get better manicure chairs. I almost always see those chairs and think ugh, their so cheap, their not sturdy and I know they can be better. I also work in interior design so I can guarantee those manicure chairs are the worst. Came in for a birthday mani pedi and I fell in LOVE with this place!! The studio is bright and open, which seems uncommon in nail salons, and had the most comfortable seating too! My toes have never looked better than they did after this pedi and it lasted SO LONG without chipping or becoming dull looking! They have a great selection of products for nails as well as skin and even some other sweet products like candles that I had to buy multiples of and some cute locally made jewelry. I booked a manicure with Elizabeth online after finding this sweet little place on Instagram. I was looking for somewhere to get a fun manicure with nail art. Elizabeth did not disappoint! The location is small but that means your appointment is very personal. I love the cozy vibe and great playlist. Elizabeth offered me wine and a selection of sparkling water before we got started. I showed her pictures of what I was looking for and she offered suggestions too. Elizabeth was incredibly detail oriented and spent a good amount of time cleaning up my cuticles before adding gel polish. We had a really great chat while she worked. I've been going to Rebecca since reading her reviews from urban waxx, they were great reviews about her treating people new to Brazilian wax well, so I decided to give it a shot on my birthday years ago. Ever since I've only gone to her. A few years ago I was caked by urban waxx and told that my appointment with Rebecca was canceled as she was no longer working with urban waxx. I stalked her Instagram to see where she's go next to follow and found that she had opened her own place. Wow what an amazing experience! Got a mani pedi by Leah. Being a man I'm very self conscious of my feet. Leah made sure to quickly ease my discomfort. The shop is very clean and inviting. I came here to treat myself to a birthday manicure and was disappointed in my experience and the finished product. When I arrived, there was a sign on the door that requested you wait outside before your appointment due to COVID, which was fine. I waited for about five minutes, no one came out, so I tried calling - my call went straight to voicemail. I called two more times, and still no answer. Finally, after about ten minutes, I looked in the window and saw someone, so I knocked on the window (the door was locked). Finally, after a few more minutes, a girl came over to let me in. She asked if I had an appointment and seemed surprised that I had tried calling multiple times to let them know I was there. I was asked to wait in their 'waiting area' and after another five minutes, she finally saw me for my appointment. Despite booking my appointment online in advance, my appointment started 20 minutes late and I had to wait for her to get set up every step of the way. She also didn't know what I was booked for (a manicure and pedicure), which seemed kind of weird. Anyways, I did have a good experience afterwards (the nail tech was thorough and really nice) and was willing to overlook all of this until the next day when my gel manicure started chipping and I noticed texture issues on my toenails. I've never had a gel manicure chip less than 24 hours after it was applied. While this place is cute, the quality of the experience was seriously lacking at every step of the way and I don't see the point in returning, unfortunately. read more

I get my nails done by Elizabeth, and she is a nail queen, with a magical personality. She is super talented and creates custom manicures that are pieces of art. I've been getting my brows waxed professionally for years, but she suggested I tint them (which I've never done before) and the difference is amaze-balls. I've gotten so many compliments so far! I also got a bikini and leg wax which was really reasonable in price. And to top it all off , she was gracious enough to offer me a complimentary adult beverage after a long day at work.
