You know what? For a small-town Asian joint in a college town, this place isn't half bad. Serving up tasty cuisine that's much more authentic than those sketchy Chinese takeout places, their bao and dumpling game is strong! While it's impossible to find a menu online, and their website consists of an Instagram page, this is the way the younger generation gets their information. And it works. The pork belly bao is relatively comparable to what I've eaten in China, so props to the cooks at IB! Notice I'm not calling this dish "bao buns" like everyone else which is typical language in the states. That's actually redundant as bao in Chinese already implies a filled bun, literally translated as parcel or package. And there is no need to call it a "filled bun bun." Autocorrect is already on my case about that double wording! But I digress. Yes, if you're in Auburn, grab a tasty Asian snack here and you won't be disappointed.

I forgot to take a picture of the Korean Mandi dumplings which were excellent... prices were good and they were offering a buy one sushi roll. Get one free so it's hard to pass up. Udon noodles were indeed very good with a rich broth and very good tempura, shrimp, and vegetables to accompany the dish. Service was quick and excellent would highly recommend.

I arrived to pick up a DoorDash order and entered the restaurant without being greeted by any employee. I sat down, assuming that someone would eventually ask if I needed assistance. During that time, two separate groups entered the restaurant and were immediately greeted and acknowledged. Meanwhile, multiple employees looked directly at me and continued to ignore me. After waiting approximately 15 minutes, I finally received the order, but only after the customer I was delivering for called the restaurant. When the food was handed to me, I politely mentioned to the employee that I had not been greeted when I arrived, despite other customers being acknowledged right away. Rather than addressing my concern, the employee refused to give me the order and called over the owner or manager. When he asked what the issue was, I explained that I simply wanted to bring attention to the fact that I had not been acknowledged when I entered the restaurant. He responded by saying that he knew I was a DoorDash driver and that the food was not ready. I asked how he could have known I was a DoorDash driver if no one had ever greeted or spoken to me. Instead of answering the question, he asked if I was going to take the food or not and told me I needed to leave because he was tired of dealing with me. He then began raising his voice, insisting that my wait was due to the food not being ready. I repeatedly explained that my concern was never the wait time. I understand that food preparation takes time. My issue was that no one acknowledged me when I arrived. Without speaking to me, the staff had no way of knowing whether I was a DoorDash driver, a customer dining in, or someone else needing assistance. Despite my attempts to clarify my concern, I was again told to leave because he did not want to deal with me. What should have been a simple conversation about customer service and acknowledgment became an unnecessarily hostile interaction. As a result, I will not be returning to this establishment and wanted to share my experience.

As a Chinese-American myself, I was so shocked to see such a huge menu where they had such a rich diversity of dishes, and they were all so good and authentic! We ordered so many dishes (just the two of us haha, probably forgot to include some pictures). The key is to order and eat "family style" meaning you share everything. Now, granted, you might not want to share cause everything is so good and you'll want it for yourself. There's something for everyone, so if you're a food veteran (or just a veteran in general- thank you for your service), or a newbie, there's such a large menu, I promise you'll find something you'll like. They also serve teas/milk teas/boba! We got the Mongolian beef, pork belly rice bowl, chicken and potato (spicy btw- also watch out for the ginger), and garlic pork Xiao long bao (they have instructions on the table for how to eat it). Service is also really incredible- I didn't get to ask his name but the kind Filipino server was so so wonderful! Very attentive, made great conversation, and made our dinner experience that much better :) he recognized my boyfriend from how often he used to come here! Will definitely be back again when I visit town again. Also- take this from a native Houstonian/Texan with a vast array of experience with Asian cuisine. Definitely should come- I was pleasantly surprised.
