I was looking around for good pizza since it was my last night in Rome. I stumbled across this as I saw it was organic and they used local produce. Great pizza. A very hip little Italian restaurant in an area I would say has more of a local vibe than touristy. The overall look of the restaurant is very cool. Not a typical white tablecloth italian dining room, but more of a trendy look. Well designed. So, all that aside, let's get to the service and food. Service was good but not amazing. Our waiter seemed a bit pre occupied. On to the food. No Bread in an Italian restaurant was a bit strange but I'm not sure if that was just the night we were there or what. Food was super tasty and not typical by any means. Very Small serving sizes for the prices though. They need more fresh veggie options as well. They didn't have any salads on the menu when we went. That's always a huge plus for me. Would rate it a solid 3 1/2 stars, but giving it four in this review because that's the only option. I will be back to see if they can offer up a full on four or even five star performance. read more

This place was not good value, and it wasn't nearly as good as I wanted it to be. I was expecting interesting food and flavor blasts in an urban chic environment. Instead there was a multi-page menu, no specials, and I don't understand how that's even possible when one is supposedly committed to farm to table? Is what's at the farm the same for that long??? Our food wasn't bad, but wasn't amazing. Service was ok. I wanted to be wowed, and I wasn't. If you're on vacation, you really don't need to bother with this place. read more

Worst experience in Rome so far. I had Cacio Pepe e Scampi (one of their daily specials). The shrimp were undercooked, and so was the pasta. When we told our waiter, he dismissed our complaint and tried to excuse it by saying that they'd recently changed their menu. Terrible experience. read more

Cozy and welcoming environment. The pasta and pizzas are tasty, although the portions are small even by European standards. The service is really good. My only complaint is that it is a bit pricey for what you get. If I am paying these prices, I usually expect at least bread with dinner and full pours of wine but Urbana 47 didn't even offer that. read more

If you have no diet or budget restrictions, this place is fabulous. While the dishes are trendy and delicious, they are over-priced and unaccommodating. The only thing I was able to order with non-dairy and non-red meat (granted, a challenge to accommodate anywhere in Italy!) was calamari with beans and lard. It tasted magical, but was FAR over-priced for it's small portion and regular ingredients. My waitress was sweet, but somehow missed a massive insect in the glass of wine she brought me (oops!). read more

Ate here with some friends while we were travelling in Rome. The restaurant was close to our AirBnB, and we had been getting coffee from their café in the mornings. We decided to try their dinner menu, but we were disappointed in the meal that we had. We shared the Organic Lamb, the Semolina Gnocchi, and a pizza with potato, smoked cheese, and prosciutto. The pizza was delicious, but the gnocchi and lamb were below average compared to other places we had dined in Rome. Place was close to my hotel that's how a I had a chance to eat. Wines are good foods are good. A good place to kill the evening. Pizza bar opens late though. Until 7 you ant have it. However pastas would take your hunger away. read more

We chose this place based on good reviews on this site and were greatly disappointed. Place was trendy in a trying to hard way. Food was complicated and the flavor just wasn't there. Servers were unfriendly, not helpful and down right rude. In two weeks in Italy I only had two bad meals and this was one of them. Best meals I had in Italy were simple with basic ingredients and full of flavor. Very disappointing meal. read more

Trendy restaurant, in a trendy area of Rome. I came here for lunch and there was no wait. However, I constantly passed the place in the evening and it was always packed, so be warned. I food was good, which was a consistent theme for me thanks to my fellow Yelpers. I can't imagine you being disappointed by the food or service. If you like eggs and sausage, order the Scotch Eggs. AMAZING. Unlike any breakfast meal we have ever had. GREAT food. We came back 2x in 3 days to try different things on the menu. We had croquettes with offal to start, yum even though reheated. As normal in Rome, the service is indifferent but was never rude, etc. I had a cheeseburger, cooked medium with bacon and cheese. The side of chicory was good and the condiments were yum. He had the chicken, which again was reheated but he thought the taste was fine and ate it all. Loved this place! The food was lovely, and fresh. The interior cool - they had submarine-esqu bathrooms. Located in a super cool part of Monti too - we went shopping, for Aperativos and then Urbana 47 a couple of times. Great for breakfast, lunch, dinner. read more

I don't say this often but this place was a hell of a find. They advertise "Glocal" (organic locally sourced foods, although sounds like a business concept someone pushes out of B-school), and it tastes amazing. Started with the house wine (10€) for a carafe (1L) and it is pretty darn good, almost like a high end California Pinot Noir. For appetizer went with their fresh baked pizza focaccia bread with a side of potato dip "salsa", if they bottled that stuff it would be an instant hit, someone call Shark Tank! for dinner we got the Urban 47 Signature Burger which came medium cooked on a brioche bun with mozzarella cheese and farm fresh bacon. The other entrée was a homemade black pepper farfalle pasta with clams and mussels, the pasta was amazing! The price is higher than most of the surrounding restaurants but well worth it, and considering I'm used to SF prices it is a steal especially at the current exchange rate! Only bad meal in 2 weeks throughout Italy. Overpriced and trendy with non-descript food. Waiter was thoroughly incompetent and confused the starters, with the 1st course and 2nd courses throughout dinner making for a very disjointed meal. Bottle of Syrah was served at approximately 80 degrees F. Service staff was snickering when others in the group were looking for the washroom and was asking about the color coded doors which were not blue or pink. So many better choices elsewhere at this price point. read more

Would give 4 stars but the food we had just wasn't there. The service and overall experience was excellent, and the idea that depending on where you sit, you can witness your food being prepared is great. We wouldn't recommend the gnocchi con gamberetti as it tasted overly fishy and a bit bitter (IMHO), the fettuccine fave was quite good-if a bit salty, and the stanchino stagionato is highly recommended. Also think the idea of promoting and only sourcing local food and drink is a cool idea. Hopefully the rest of the menu is more to your liking as it is a restaurant easy to like. read more

Over-priced with slow service and a very unfriendly attitude. Trying to have a mod fusion take e.g. Eggplant parmigiana with tandoori sauce which was tasty but the pasta with vegetables was undercooked and horrible. Think again before going here. read more
