This place is new and very modern looking, a beautiful outdoor setting, very clean! And the sandwiches there are delicious! My lady ordered a club sandwich and it was so fresh, I ordered the Santa Maria BBQ Sandwich and they are great portion sizes and they come with a side salad with some type of vinaigrette that was refreshing! Food was incredible! I got the Cranberry Brie without turkey and the side salad! Everything about it was awesome! My husband got the club and no complaints! Food was fresh and delicious. This was our first time and we see many visits in our future! The customer service was on point! The young lady, Emily (had to look at receipt for her name) taking our order welcomed us and was sweet and helpful and the gentleman brought our to go order to us instead of just calling us up! the food is delicious. we've had many sandwiches, the chicken poblan soup, a cookie. we are older and like to split meals to save on calories. We are on Social Security so need to be careful. Urbane Cafe does not have Senior Discount. We asked for the bowl of soup to be split also. first time fine. next two times a manager said it wasn't allowed. They sell cup for $4 and bowl for $6.50. I love this place. I frequently eat here. I would have given it 5 stars but I recently tried to order catering (very small order) on Friday for a Saturday pick up. It doesn't allow online orders for catering on the weekends. It referred me to call and 844 number which states if the order is placed outside M-F 8:30-5:30 to call my local cafe to directly place my order. I called my local location and was told to call the 844 #. I called again to make sure I heard the recording correctly. So I called my local location again 7pm on a Friday and just keep getting a message that the party I am calling is not available. I called 5 times between 7pm and 8:20pm and no live person. Mind you they close at 9pm. read more

Not only is this place my favorite because it has amazing food! Now, it is my favorite because of the classy management team. The staff there, in general, has always been top notch, but on March 5, they were exceptional. We had ordered catering through them for my daughter's baby shower and had to cancel the day of the party because she had to be raced to the hospital and ended up being induced. We called early to cancel and left a message about why we needed to cancel because they, of course, were not open at 4 am. I called back at 11 when they opened, and they said they would cancel the order and then have a manager call me about being reimbursed the money we paid. The manager called back really quickly and was super nice and wished us well on the birth and told us no problem we would be reimbursed our entire amount paid. As if that wasn"t generous enough, they also sent my beautiful grand daughter 2 onesies!!! Such a classy establishment and definitely going to be using them for catering the come meet the baby party we will be throwing. We did use them for another party and the catering was exceptional and our guest absolutely loved the food which is why we ordered from them again for this occasion and will be ordering from them for many more parties to come!! read more

I want to give a huge Thank You to Alex, the manager at the Urbane Cafe location in Menifee. I had ordered a Crunchy Peanut Salad with Japanese dressing. When I received my order, my salad had the wrong dressing in it. I called the Cafe not to necessarily complain but to let them know that the incorrect dressing was placed in my salad. After explaining myself, the person on the phone gave the phone to Alex. I reiterated what happened. Alex looked up my mobile order and immediately apologized and provided me a refund for my order. I thanked him and told him I would order again the following day. The next day, I went in to pick up my order, and Alex personally handed it to me, along with a few lunch cards and a warm cookie. He went above and beyond to correct a minor mistake. I was already an Urbane customer at their Temecula location. However, since that day, Urbane in Menifee acquired a long-term regular customer. I have been going to the Temecula one for awhile now so I was very excited when this opened! Went during the soft opening so it was very busy and hot and they were still able to provide excellent food and service. I tried a new sandwich- I normally always get the Turkey Brie sandwich which is great- but I got the UC banh mi (I think that's what it's called lol) sandwich and it was EXCELLENT! Great flavor, not too spicy, very refreshing and it will be my new go to. I love there salad that comes with the sandwich too. It's not doused in dressing and it tastes light & refreshing as well.
