Falafel was absolutely delicious
William H.

WOW!! Best falafel I've ever had. Absolutely delicious. This was my first visit and I will definitely return. Hummus was a 10 out of 10. Kind and effecient staff Super fresh food. Definitely recommend

Found hair in my fries

Ordered falafels & fries. The fries were tasting good, but as soon as I tried the falafel & tahini (which I've ordered from here before), they lacked flavor/tasted weird. It made me feel gross and nauseous, like the falafel mix or frying oil was old or something. The tahini also tasted off. So I just continued eating the fries, but then I pulled a long brown hair which snapped because it was tangled in the fries. Super disgusting. Based on previous reviews, this isn't the first time. My friend got hummus, and she said it lacked flavor.

Baklava
Joelle C.

My first time here and my first time trying chicken shawarma and I found it dry so I hardly ate my chicken. The rice looks pretty but bland. The parsley salad was good enough. The humus was super yummy. My friend chicken kebab was good and the shrimp (not pictured) kebab was dry. All this plus a drink was $50 something. I paid separately for four pieces of baklava ($15 something) and it was ok. I had better baklava The people were nice and not much ambiance. Service was good.

Gyro wrap 9/10!

Surprised to see no one inside! Came in to give it a try and I am not disappointed, got a gyro wrap and it came with fresh veggies flavorful meat!

The Zesty Shawarma reminds us of our time in the Middle East. Yes, the food is that authentic. In fact, it's probably the best Mediterranean food we've had in the U.S. The family who runs Zesty are warm, friendly and very sincere. Several times during our meal, they checked in on us... smiling and wanting to know how our meal was. It was delicious. We ordered some Gyros, Chicken Kabob with saffron rice, along with some falafels. It is also less expensive than some other Humus and Gyro places in Menifee. I've attached our receipt, $38.12 pre-tax. Our serving size I can only say was plentiful and overly generous. You decide. See attached photos. Five Stars!

The gentleman behind the counter let us taste one or two things we hadn't tried before. He was affable, enthusiastic, and this looks to be a family business. Everything was home and handmade. I got the kebab and my wife got the gyro. We kept feeding each other like bits because we couldn't believe how good everything was That was the CREAMIEST hummus I have ever had, and the rice (usually just filler) was good enough to be its own meal. It's very easy to dismiss or ignore this place. Please don't do that. There is not enough Mediterranean food in the area and this may be the best I've had.

It's a decent deal and the food is pretty good. Just wish you got a little more pita with the combo meal.

I am obsessed with Za'atar so I definitely had to try the Za'atar flat bread and it was delicious plus everything else we tried was just as amazing. Right away I decided to look no further and booked them to cater the food for my birthday. The kabobs, beef, chicken shawarma and everything we ordered was outstanding!! Our guest were all super happy and kept asking where we ordered the food from so I'm sure they will also be visiting the place soon. Needless to say the owners are super sweet and helpful!!! Sadly I didn't take any pictures. So busy running around I totally forgot!

I started with the lentil soup, which was rich and comforting, then moved on to an appetizer combo of falafel, kibbeh, and lahme bajin. Everything was delicious. I wasn't a huge fan of the molasses on top of the kibbeh and would've loved a bit more tahini, but even then it was still excellent and hardly worth complaining about. I also ordered the chicken kebab plate, and I have to say, the salad dressing was simple yet easily one of the best I've had in a long time. The rice tasted like true homemade, family-style cooking, which I really appreciated. And the lahme bajin? So good that I ordered six more to go. Absolutely worth a visit.

I've brought my family, friends, coworkers to Laderas. What was ordered: Greek Salad w/ Gyros…read more First of all, the salad was huge! With how pricey eating out is, I don't expect much when we order. Guess lower my expectations, get delightfully surprised? Either way, the salad was big enough to eat half for lunch and half for dinner/bfast! Gyro portions were also generous and not overly salty or tough. It was actually my son's favorite part of my salad besides of course my pita bread. There was a balance of feta, olives, extremely delicious tomato slices and crispy lettuce topped with slices of red onion. Honestly, it was the type of fresh I needed on a hot day. I had ordered for pick-up on Doordash, and our order was all ready to go - just in time to beat the lunch rush. Seriously though, this place gets crazy around noon. The staff was friendly, and the place itself appeared clean and bright. We sat outside (there's about three tables out in front). Would I come back? Yup! This was well worth the price, the taste was on point, and it satisfied our tastebuds!

I ordered a regular gyro pita sandwich and my husband ordered the gyro pita sandwich with added pork meat and he got it as a combo with rice and a salad. Gyro meat is spot on. Love it - not too soft and not too crispy. The taztziki sauce is so good here but you must love the garlic aftertaste as it will be in your mouth for awhile!! The pita bread is sooo soft and fresh. Overall the sandwich in itself is filling and my husband felt overall full with his two sides. Our total was $29 for the sandwich and sandwich combo.

While driving by, I decided to stop here for a quick lunch, and I'm so glad I did. First of all, the place is impeccable. I work in cleaning services, so I notice these things right away. Everything was spotless. The ambiance is clean, welcoming, and comfortable. Service was fast, but what stood out was that the cashier still took the time, with a smile, to explain parts of the menu when we had questions. The prices are surprisingly affordable. When my mom hesitated because of the language, they made the effort to speak Spanish to make her feel comfortable, which meant a lot to us. We were served at our table, and honestly, the first bite was heavenly. I thought I already loved Greek food, but this went beyond anything I've tried before. Definitely coming back

If you wanted a side order with that they charged an extra $4 which was a surprise because it's hard to see the $4 up charge on the menu. However, the french fries were very good so I'm not really complaining about that. The sandwich was very tangy and the meat was dry. The beef shawarma plate that we got first came out with crispy crunchy beef that you could crunch into crumbles in your fingers. I sent it back and the second was cooked better but the flavor was extremely off-putting. There was an excessive amount of sumac on top of the meat, much more than is needed. Also , the taste of wine (I'm assuming it was in the marinade) was very strong. I thought that the baba ganoush I received as a side was very tasty and smoky. It did have a large amount of olive oil floating on the top which was a tad overkill but, still, it was tasty. The presentation of food was impressive. I must say that the service was very good. There was one server that was serving everyone in the entire restaurant and she was really on the ball. There was only one person cooking in the back so food was coming out a little at a time at our table of eight people. Some of us were almost done eating before the last person even got their meal. There were people at our table that got served first. Then we would see food going out to other tables before the rest of the people got served at our table. To me this was a little disorganized and it would really benefit this restaurant if they were a bit more organized and had an extra employee or two for lunch time. I guess the main issue we had was that the food was not good and it wasn't served to all the people at the table in a timely manner. All the food did come out hot thanks to our stellar server. Regarding returning to this restaurant, I do not think I will be returning. We have other Mediterranean restaurants in the area that have better food. A+ for the service and probably C- for the food.
