We had a large group with several complicated orders, but she handled everything with so much patience, efficiency, and kindness. Nicole was very attentive throughout our meal and made sure our bottomless salads, soups, and drinks were brought out in a timely manner. She checked on us often without being intrusive and made the whole experience feel smooth and enjoyable, even with such a demanding table. She was friendly, accommodating, and genuinely made our lunch better. We would definitely come back to this location and specifically ask to be seated in Nicole's section again. The service was slow and it took forever to get refills on drinks and refills on bread sticks or Alfredo sauce. The food itself was just not as good as other locations. Olive Garden is an Italian themed restaurant. When we feel tired, and/or incredibly lazy, we come here. The food is me'h, as is the service. We've had both good and bad here. Last night, Johnny our server was Amazing. Excellent even. Our entrées however were Grrrr. My Campanelle pasta was cooked perfectly. The meatballs however were cold and the sausages pink inside. We came to Olive Garden for lunch and were super excited because who doesn't love Alfredo, right?! We ordered the lunch special fettuccine Alfredo and fried shrimp. Sadly, the Alfredo was really watery and not as creamy and rich as we were hoping for, so it wasn't as satisfying as usual. The shrimp was just okay, nothing bad, but pretty mediocre. BUT I have to give a HUGE shoutout to our server Megan -- she was AMAZING! So friendly, attentive, and on top of everything. The olive garden in temecula has a reoccuring sewage smell upon entering entrance. They need to address that problem because it's disgusting. AMAZING FOOD w/ service that lacks... I had an incredible culinary experience when it came to my food quality. Only the salad looked a little sad and the lasagna fritta was a little too store-bought. I ordered the Never-Ending Pasta Bowl (as one does) and the food tasted great (rigatoni w/ five cheese marinara & fettuccine alfredo). Unfortunately, the service affected my visit. I'm a little disappointed as my waitress waited a long time before returning to my table to ask if I wanted a second round of pasta! I guess the goal is to wait until you're full? I mean, I would've asked for a second round had I seen her if that's the policy here. I just felt like this location was skimping and trying to be stingy! It's not like I'm ordering the entire restaurant. I usually go for three or so rounds of pasta as the bowls are INCREDIBLY small after the first round. I came to Olive Garden tonight with my daughter for a little dinner date, expecting a "20-25 minute" wait as we were quoted. What I got was more like a Netflix episode binge--an entire hour in the lobby. What made it extra frustrating was the "last call" system: apparently it doesn't actually mean "last call." Guests who strolled in 10, 15, even 20 minutes late still got to jump back in line, while my name kept doing the cha-cha up and down the waitlist. Located on Newport Rd. & Calle Tomas next to Wendy's with plenty of parking. We've been to this location plenty of times and it never disappoints. Full-sized bar and outdoor seating setting. The restaurant opens at 11 AM daily with an adjacent room for 'To-Go' (pick-up) orders. We visited today for lunch to celebrate my niece's elementary promotion. Olive Garden continues to offer great lunch specials, ideal for bigger parties. Today, I had their 'Fettuccine Alfredo' with a 'Fagioli' soup. Everything was delicious with that authentic taste. I was very disappointed in the Service on Friday June 12. My little Family got there about 4:50 we got sat quickly. We waited for our waitress about 15 min but we looked at the menu and told her we were ready to order as she asked us for our drinks. Our soup and salad with drinks came out ok. Another couple arrived next to us and had a different waitress and they got their food first before us. Our waitress never came to tell us she went on brake, someone else came and I told her our food hadn't come out and the couple next to us had come way after us and they had gotten their food first. I have a huge guilty pleasure for Olive Garden and I am not afraid to admit it! This Newport Rd location is by far my favorite in the area. The food is great, some people love it, some people hate it, but if you're not too picky on your pastas and just love pasta in genera then you already know. The Create Your Own Pasta is my go to and I always choose spaghetti, five cheese marinara, and grilled chicken on top of it. Yes add as much cheese as possible on top of it my glorious server! We visited for the Never-Ending Pasta promotion on a Saturday evening. Upon arrival, we requested booth seating and were told the wait would be longer, which we agreed to. However, when we were seated at a table instead, we asked the hostess why we couldn't be placed in a booth. She informed us that the manager had made the seating decision and asked if we would like to speak to the manager. Shortly after, she returned and was able to seat us in a booth. While we appreciated being accommodated, the hostess's demeanor felt dismissive. Even though we thanked her several times, she did not respond and simply walked away. When we left the restaurant, she continued to ignore us and appeared as though we had inconvenienced her. My husband and I usually sit at the bar when we visit and EVERY time the bartender is overwhelmed and backed up. As this is going on all managers on staff are hanging out talking to each other and drinking Starbucks at the end of the bar ignoring and not supporting bar staff. Olive Garden is typically our go to pasta restaurant. As a family we're creatures of habit and we typically order the same thing every time we go here. I always order the seafood Alfredo and the zuppa toscana soup. Pasta is also Al dente and the seafood is fresh so no complaints really there except they don't pour enough sauce in my opinion. The zuppa toscana the last couple of times we came I seem to get the left over bits and pieces of potato's, sausage, and kale. When I ask for a refill on the soup it's the same thing... kinda odd but it is what it is at that point. Service is always great. Our waiter/waitress is always on point and is always asking to if we need a refill on something. Ambiance is good. It doesn't get too loud which is a plus. Other than that it was an excellent experience. Definitely try it out if you haven't been. read more

Apparently, it has been about 2 years since I last ate here at Olive Garden in Menifee. In the 2 years that have passed, my unlimited soup, salad, and breadsticks are no longer $9.99 (as I already expected). It's now $11.49. Although the soup and salad were good, the Zuppa Toscana seemed a lot more watery this time around. I didn't even get a picture. The Chicken & Gnocchi soup was perfect. The salad was on point as usual. The breadsticks are the O.G. and you can never go wrong with those. I am bumping up my original rating of 3 stars to 4, and it's all thanks to Lee, who provided THE BEST customer service experience I have had here. He was enthusiastic from beginning to end, checking in often, making sure we had our refills when needed, etc. He handled our table and those around us like a true champ! The customer service could certainly use some improvement. I understand that Saturdays are busy, which I expected, so I approached the front desk to register my name and number for the waiting list. Without asking, the gentleman immediately said the wait would be approximately one hour. I told him no worries, I could wait. Then a younger lady insisted it would be longer than an hour. I reiterated that I was fine waiting. She then said it would probably be an hour and a half. I once again said no worries, I could go home (just 2 minutes away) and wait for the call back. But, the salads are always fresh and the lettuce can be hit or miss. They often have specials if you are on a budget, but it's good to check their website or their instagram to verify before you head to the restaurant. We put our name on their waitlist that was supposed to be 50 minutes. We took an Uber ( $22) to get there in 45 minutes. They text us saying our table would be ready in 5 minutes as we arrived. Then people were telling us they called ahead and had to wait over an hour. We waited and when I checked back with the hostess she said it would be another 25 minutes. Based on CATERING Ordered from our Olive Garden for catering to our local high school for a banquet. I ordered 5 of the create your own pasta meals, which starting with the positive, the food was a hit and everything was fresh, hot, packaged well and everyone enjoyed it. The food itself, with tip included was expensive, which wasn't an issue for me, that being said, when you (as a company) offer catering and set up, the expectation is that the company does the catering and set up. They sent 1 person to deliver the giant 5 boxes (each create your own was packaged in its own box), 3 bags for all the salads, dressings and extras, and 4 gallons of drinks. I walked out to meet the driver and was surprised to see she was alone. The expectation was clearly that we would take the majority of it ourselves. We were needed in the event already, so the time it took to bring everything in detracted from the other things that needed to be done. We had to send additional students the second time to get the rest of the stuff. The driver didn't set anything up, which was fine, but I wish that I would have waited to give a tip because I gave a generous tip thinking they would be splitting it (and doing the work) and we ended up doing basically all the work. She stacked two big/heavy boxes for my son to carry on the first trip, and he actually ended up hurting himself by carrying it. I'm giving two stars because the food itself was good, but had I known I would have just saved myself a good deal of money by picking it up myself since we ended up doing the majority of the work ourselves. I'm not sure if this is the norm for Olive Garden catering, or if this was just a fluke. But I was disappointed and I'm not sure I would use their service again despite having several more events coming up. read more

Hello all, The food here was so so regarding the taste. I had the shrimp carbonara which was a very big plate but overall it was just a semi bland tasting dish and the noodles seemed chewy. All dishes we had were very big for about $22-$24. Service was so so as we waited a bit for appetizers and refills throughout the meal, and had to ask a different server for to go boxes as our waitress left for the night. This is a newer place so it seemed very clean and modern compared to other more dated olive gardens I've been to. Next time I will go for something on the red sauce side as I did try someone else's dish and the red sauce was much better. Might return again but I'm not in a hurry. read more
