Food is good. Good enough that i came back the second time. But i dont think ill be back unless there is a noticeable change in cleanliness. I am not happy with their sanitary condition. They were touching receipt orders as they were touching my salad, sandwich and everything that ill be eating. Also, as they were packing my food, another staff was touching the jnside of my lid which were coming in contact with my salad. (I am not going to go in more detail). Well i told my self that it should be ok but as i was eating my sandwich i found an eyelash stuck in my turkey. Pretty disappointed In Urbane. Tried twice to call in for a pickup order and was left on hold for a collective 10 minutes. Annoying, but I figure they must be busy. Had to head over there in person to order, and asked to substitute Tri Tip in the UC Bahn Mi, nothing out of the usual that hasn't been done before. Got home, looking forward to my dinner after a long day, and found that my sandwhich was just Tri Tip over bread. They took out all the Bahn Mi toppings, "Vietnamese style, pickled Fresno chili, pickled radish mix, gochujang chili aioli, cilantro". Got nothing of that. Yesterday afternoon, I had one of the worst eating experiences ever at Urban Cafe in Valencia. This will be the 3rd bad experience at this location and it's clear they are not following health codes. I ordered the Santa Maria BBQ chicken Salad, which came with an acrylic French fingernail. YUCK!!!!! I should have left this place right after my husband used the restroom and noticed how filthy it was. Dirty Bathroom, Dirty Kitchen. We immediately asked for our money back, as did 3 other customers who saw the nail. I will never set foot in that place again. Clearly management isn't doing their job. Why are employees preparing food without gloves? Please check which of your employees is missing a nail. read more

Omg . Such an amazing find We drove from San Jose and made a stop at this target . Decided to grab a bite and found this place on Yelp. So glad we gave it a try!! We had the So Cal sandwhich which consists of: roasted chicken, avocado, pepper jack cheese, green leaf lettuce, tomatillo salsa, chipotle aioli My mouth is watering thinking about it haha . The chicken was so tender and cheese melted just right. Everything was the perfect portion and it was not too messy to eat . Loveee the bread. We also got the Salmon Salad . This place is a gem in Santa Clarita. It has been here as long as I can remember, and has never disappointed me. This place has sandwiches, salads, and great drinks that are pretty unique. This place focuses on healthy options that still taste great. It is one of the healthier restaurants in Santa Clarita. This place is about $13-$14 for an entrée although that might be a little pricey, it is worth it because it is healthy and a good amount of food. I see they are also opening up another Urbane Cafe on Newhall Ranch Road, which I am so excited for. I am glad to see this place is catching on in Santa Clarita. The service is great, the employees are friendly. This is not a sit down restaurant where someone comes up and serves you, but it is a restaurant where you order and then you grab your food and sit at tables in the restaurant. There are a few tables outside of the restaurant where you can sit at but they are limited. The parking is plentiful here. There's no issue on finding parking here. Delicious place for quick lunch. I usually get the gourmet grilled cheese (and I add bacon & jalapenos) and it is so good. The bread is always soft and flavorful and the side salad with the mandarin oranges is unique and refreshing. I have also had the tuna sandwich and it is fresh and good. They offer a few other goodies besides sandwiches such as glass bottle cokes and cookies (I recommend their lemon flavored ones!). This place has been a long time favorite of my boyfriend's and I always enjoy it too. They also offer curbside pickup during covid (you can call and pay over the phone or place an order through their app). Wish they had some in OC! read more

Came here for lunch on a Wednesday around 1:45PM. There was no line to order and it did not seem to be very busy (although there were many pick up orders being prepared and I believe the lunch rush might be around noon.) The space was very clean and there were plenty of tables available. We got our order for dine-in so we were given a number to take back to our table so the food could be brought to us. The food came out quickly in maybe around 10-15min. For my meal I ordered the cilantro chicken salad with chipotle ranch dressing and it came with a piece of freshly baked focaccia. The salad was a very good, filling portion and it came with generous pieces of well marinaded, juicy chicken breast as well as generous slices of avocado. It also had a corn and black bean salsa and mozzarella cheese that complimented all the flavors very well. The lettuce felt very fresh and crispy. Dressing comes on the side and they give you sooo much dressing, I barely used 1/2 of my entire container so I shared with my mom and had some with the bread as well. On that note, the focaccia was very fluffy and not super oily which I appreciated and it came with some sea salt sprinkled over the top. Very healthy and filling meal! Urbane was a bit tricky to find, since the yelp GPS kept telling us it was in the wrong spot. It was on the opposite side of the shopping complex, so keep that in mind if using yelp to guide you. From all the positive reviews I expected something a bit better, but it was your average run of the mill sandwich/soup/salad spot, like Panera Bread or Corner Bakery. Perhaps they use better or healthier ingredients (and charge a premium for it), but I had to take their word for it since I couldn't tell. I had the So-Cal sandwich which was just okay.
