Service was excellent & the food came out fast , they also do carry out orders. The large menu has all our old favorites & several new combos . Unfortunately, this place has gone so downhill over the years, this is my third DoorDash, hoping with each order that it will resemble somewhat of what it used to be even just a few years ago, but that is not the case they forgot items, and the items that I order are laughable. And it's not just DoorDash. I used to go to the Carmichael location and then when that closed down after many many years, I tried the Lincoln location and they disappointed right out the gate. And it's been that way ever since. Hey the lady at the Carmichael location may not have always been the nicest, but the food was legit. I don't know what they have going for them anymore. I readily admit with the number of Mexican restaurants in town this one, although I know it's there, always flew under the radar. This is my first time. Just getting a basic beef burrito to-go the staff were cordial and efficient. The restaurant is clean and respectable enough.7t The burrito was good, average at best, and a sizeable portion. The ingredients seemed fresh and the meat was good, although there were some parts with excessive grizzle. There are better in town, yet I wouldn't rule out coming back either. We have been coming to Urbano's for years, such a good family friendly restaurant. I ordered the chili rellenos and a tamale, delicious!

On a whim, I decided to try a new restaurant.... I decided to try a little wine and finger food place so I drove to a restaurant on Twelve Bridges. When I arrived, I could see that the place that I had selected was too crowded, too loud, for me so I glanced around the area and found Urbanos. I gave them a try and I was pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere is clean and spacious, the staff is very friendly and accommodating, and I could tell that the ingredients were of quality, the flavors were amazing, the the prices are very fair. I discovered Urbanos on a whim and now Urbanos will be one of my regular restaurants. read more

I had no idea Urbano's moved to Lincoln, we had been to their old location in Carmichael on Manzanita. This new location has plenty of outdoor and indoor seating. The food is amazing as always. We recently visited and ordered nachos and a super burrito wet style. The nachos were loaded with deliciousness and even had quesadilla pieces with it. The super burrito was huge and filled with rice, beans and meat. The sauce was so good! The chips and salsa were delicious. The staff is friendly and attentive. We were in the area for a concert and wanted Mexican food. We looked up what was around us and that's when we found Urbano's. The restaurant was very clean, quiet, and decorated really nice. The waiter and waitress were very nice and attentive to us. The only complaint would be that the lady seemed like she was hovering. The place wasn't too busy when we went (around 3:00pm), but we felt a little uncomfortable and rushed. However the food was pretty good. All 3 of us were happy with what we ordered. If we visit again we will eat here again. read more

We had lunch at Urbano's earlier this week. It had been some time since we had stopped there to have something to eat. Once again, we had a good experience. Comfortable atmosphere, good service, tempting menu and solidly good food. We started with the complementary chips and salsa. To this we added some guacamole. Then, I ordered the #7 - Beef Taco & Cheese Enchilada along with rice, beans, lettuce, and tomato. This was delicious, especially the taco. My partner selected one of Urbano's Lunches. Specifically, the shredded Beef Burrito. This meal also included rice and beans, lettuce, and tomato. She was pleased with the taste and quality. Small place is a shopping area in Lincoln, it faces into the parking lot so you can drive right past and not see it. Nothing special about the food on my first visit, ordered the Chile verde lunch and was surprised how acidic it was and carried much more of a bit than any of the (many) other places a I've tried in this area over the years. I almost gave it 2 stars as 3 seems too high, but this one needs a 2.5 for my first time l. Clean, about 15 tables, small beer and wine bar, a local place and until I try more items, a place with just ok food. read more

A friend who lives in Rocklin suggested this place. We walked in and only one other party was dining. We were seated right away. It is located in a strip mall near University Ave or close. The decor is fitting and there is a bar on the right. No patrons at the bar at all. Back is the cashier desk and kitchen. The waiter I see that is complained about often in previous reviews was actually just fine. He is not an engaging or chatty fellow but gave us time to peruse the menus and brought chips, salsa and water. We both chose the 2 enchiladas plate. He got chicken and I got beef. When it came maybe 15 minutes later, the plate was a decent portion. I dug in. The first thing I could taste was that the enchilada sauce was more bitter than the usual and tasted like it was a canned variety. I recognized having it before. The beans and rice were ok and nothing great. I was diappointed that it tasted like an American-Mexican restaurant like maybe Kico's, Chevy's, El Torito or On the Border but even those places have some better and a bit more authentic tasting Mexican food than this place. I was surprised as the interior looked every bit the part. One more family came in after us. Only 1! We dined for an hour or so and only 3 total parties at 6pm on a Friday night. I hope they have better business as I heard they have been in this center for at least 5+ years if not longer. I wish them well but the food is not the kind I seek out when there are a pleathora of great Mexican joints in Cali and the Sacramento greater area. I'll pass. read more

Great place to eat and appears to be family owned and operated. Always fast to take our order and fast to get it out. Drinks always get refilled when they are half full and never have to ask. The staff usually asks a few times how the food is and if they can get anything else. Super nice staff. We always make sure to get there before the lunch rush to make sure we don't wait for a table. Food tastes authentic and has never disappointed us. We are regulars there at least once a week after our workout. read more

It was pretty good! The food was tasty and the servers were kind. It's nice that this place is a 3 minute drive from our house, so we will for sure be back! My only two wishes are maybe a more flavorful salsa for the salsa that accompanies the chips they bring out, and looking into serving a larger variety of alcohol beverages. I was really looking forward to having a real margarita and didn't realize it's not something they offer. You can get a margarita made with wine, though it's not quite the same. Maybe one day. Urbano's Mexican Restaurant at Twelve Bridges, located in Lincoln, CA, is the Lincoln link of a small chain of two restaurants located in the greater Sacramento restaurant, with the sister restaurant located in Carmichael. Urban's serves delicious Mexican cuisine, in a very "Mexican style" dining room, and is noted among diners in western Placer County for their amazing fresh chips and salsa... The beautiful patio is located just outside the front door of the restaurant, and offers plenty of shade along with comfortable outdoor dining. Potted geraniums offer beauty, and if you choose to dine during evening hours, there are several strings of lights. Despite the warm weather, I chose to enjoy my lunch on the patio. As you enter the restaurant, you'll notice the clean, medium-size dining room, that features mostly tables, but there are a few booths near the wall. The floor is polished tile, the walls are decorated with Mexican hats, photos and paintings, and there are lots of potted plants. Television monitors were tuned to what seemed to me Mexican soap operas - which are very popular in Mexico - and traditional "banda" music was playing in the background. The small bar is to the right as you enter the restaurant. The kitchen is located at the rear of the restaurant, in the center, hidden by a small partition, topped with potted plants. The second page of the menu lists "House Specials, Dinners," along with "Urbano's Special." Since today was my first visit to this fine Mexican restaurant, I started at the "top" of the dinner menu and went with "Steak Ranchero." A nice thing about Urbano's Mexican Restaurant at Twelve Bridges is you can order anything on the menu, any time the restaurant is open. So today, I enjoyed "dinner" for my "lunch..." Urbano's Mexican Restaurant is noted among the Lincoln locals for their chips and salsa. The chips aren't "heat lamp" chips, as they were fresh from the kitchen, thin, crispy, and deep fried to a perfect light golden brown. Delicious tortilla chips! Like the chips, the salsa is fresh, and made in-house, and I suspect the salsa was made just before my visit, as it was simply bursting with flavor and freshness! From the "Dinners" section of the menu, I went with "Steak Ranchero," which the menu describes as, "Beef slices cooked with our special rancho sauce." All "Dinner" selections on the menu include Mexican rice, refried beans, lettuce, tomato, and your choice of corn or flour tortillas. I went with corn tortillas, I savor the "earthy" taste... The menu didn't stay anything about the steak "dinner," or "lunch" in my case included diced potato, and the diced potato were a welcome surprise. Your plate includes a generous portion of marinated and seasoned steak slices, cut into bite-size pieces. Along with the steak, my meal included diced potato, diced chili pepper, diced white onion, along another surprise... diced celery, which is rarely seen in Mexican cuisine. The "Special Rancho Sauce" was tomato based, flavorful, yet mild with no heat whatsoever. As the menu posted, the "lettuce and tomato" was simply shredded lettuce with a couple of Roma tomato slices on top. No salad dressing with included, but I'm certain had I asked my waiter he would have been happy to bring dressing of choice. There was nothing special about the lettuce and tomato except it was fresh, and added a nice "side" to the lunch. The Mexican rice was solidly good and flavorful, but not really remarcable, as I could have closed my eyes and imagined that I was enjoying rice at practically any taqueria in western Placer County. The refried beans made up for the somewhat lackluster taste of the rice as you could taste the LARD, just like grandmother used to make! The beans were perfectly "refried," with a few of the beans on the "chunky" side, and the rest nice and creamy. The beans were perfectly cooked, seasoned, and topped with melted shredded Mexican cheese. The tortilla warmer netted three medium size corn tortillas, as I had ordered corn. The tortillas were slightly toasted, warm, moist, and made a perfect side dish for my "dinner for lunch" at Urbano's Mexican Restaurant at Twelve Bridges. Such a great lunch, especially when you add in the super-fresh tortilla chips, the amazing in-house made salsa, and a cold Pacifico beer, served in a frosted mug. The patio dining was pleasant on this hot Friday morning in mid-June, but I wouldn't have had it any way, as food simply tastes better when enjoyed outdoors! I loved the fine Mexican cuisine, the service was fast and friendly, and the whole dining experience was amazing. I grew up eating at Urbanos in Carmichael when I was kid. We ate there often actually. Was excited tonight to get a taste of my childhood but really disappointed. The beef in the tacos and enchiladas is really dry and chunky. The cheese enchilada was ok. Rice and beans ok but everything tasted like it was missing salt. Not as great as I remembered it. Service was over the top, but we were the only customers in the place. And it was also kind of eerie, because we were watched the entire time we were there. Suggested by my sister in-law, but I don't think she had ever been to this place either. The food was NOT Mexican. I ordered a chili verde burrito. It was meat only, wrapped in a tortilla. Chili verde by definition is pork in green chili. Poor cut of meat, no visual chili, no chili taste, and almost nothing else in the tortilla. My favorite Mexican restaurants are 24 and 30 miles from my home, and I gladly make the trip to one or the other weekly. Who knew we would unexpectedly find a good Mexican restaurant after trying so many I gave up. We were in the area and Yelp brought me here. We came on an early Saturday evening. It is located in a shopping center. We walk in and they were not busy with only two other tables taken. It has a full bar and the inside was a little smaller than anticipated. We were seated right away. I felt a Very cold draft where I was sitting but he said its like that all over. Good thing i had a jacket. The menu has your normal mexican fair but was surprised to see how good the prices were. Most everything was $12 or less for a full meal. I usually get my standby fajitas but decided to get tamale, taco, and enchilada. They did not have this combo as a selection but made it for me anyway. Chips were nice and crispy and clearly not store bought. The salsa was chunky like i like but very very bland. It needs a little oomph. Fresh though. Our plates came out within 15 minutes. My most favorite items was the crispy taco. It was a true hand made fried shell. It was also packed with meat. REALLY enjoyed it. Heck I am still thinking about it. The tamale was also good with good meat/meal ratio and it was not dry. Enchilada also good amount of meat with just enough sauce. Service was very friendly and attentive. Our dinner for 2 came under $30. What a deal! This will be on our list of regular places to frequent. read more
