This pizza spot was a pleasant surprise. If you're a fan of thin-crust, coal-fired pizza, it's definitely worth checking out. One feature I really liked is that you can order half-and-half pizzas, as long as both flavors use the same base. We went with half Margherita and half Hot Honey, and the hot honey had just the right amount of heat without being overpowering. The pizzas were a bit light on toppings, and the crust was slightly more charred than I prefer, but they were still flavorful and delicious overall. The standout for me was the URBN Salad. It had a great mix of candied walnuts, Gorgonzola cheese, and fresh greens, with just the right amount of dressing so nothing felt overdressed. Despite Urbn having a stupid name (please, can we put an end to all these idiotic voweless monstrosities?!), this place is pretty decent. We met some friends here for an early dinner a few nights ago and had a pleasant time hanging out in the space, which has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. There's a nice limoncello spritz on the cocktail menu that one of us got as well as beers on draft. The Caesar salad had too much dressing, but it was fine. Meatballs were ordered to the table, and neither of us had one, but our daughter seemed content with them. The pizza is Connecticut-style, which we've had plenty of times, so we know what to expect. We ordered one large half plain/half pepperoni, and one small margherita. We liked them! You need to be used to the thin crust situation, which tends to make the pizza feel a bit more dry, but it's also lighter eating, which is nice. Our friend treated us to dinner, which was very thoughtful, so we can't speak to value, but service was very friendly, so we're rounding up to 4 stars because this was really more of a 3.5. Came to URBN as a recommendation from someone in our group and had a great experience. Pizza looked great and tasted great, half barbecue chicken and half margherita. Being absolutely parched from the golf course, I sucked down approximately eight to ten Arnold Palmers and my glass never hit empty. Attentive at the bar provided by both servers with a tag team approach to make sure service happens. Great conversation with my buddy as well as staff where everybody was super friendly. Service means everything, even above great food sometimes. The only mishap that happened was having the Padres game on. Being from LA where we have the back to back champion Dodgers on, this was disappointing but it happens in foreign territory. I came here with a friend for a casual lunch. We ordered pizza that was half Hot Honey and half Meatball Pie to share. We absolutely loved the Hot Honey that came with pepperoni, jalapeño, and mozzarella, drizzled with hot honey. We didn't care for the Meatball Pie that came with meatballs, provolone, ricotta, and basil. This was recommended by our server, and it was a bad recommendation! I really liked the pizza here, the price wasn't bad for the large pizza, it's huge and we had plenty of leftovers for the nextday. Good size portions for a party of two. Server shared the small portions were big enough for the both of us. Ordered a small pizza and a small salad. You can split a pie with different toppings as long as the sauce is the same (red vs white). We ordered half hot honey/jalapeño/pepperoni and the other half pepperoni/extra cheese. This is my most favorite wood fired pizza place in San Diego! It's in a beautiful location in Del Mar. They also have a full bar onsite. My favorites are the vegan pie with hummus, margarita pie and salami pie, I'm not a fan of sweet but my friends usually like the honey hot pizza. The house salad is good and the wings are more on the expensive side but they are large wings. The bbq flavor is very good with a slight grilled smoky flavor. Very nice to eat here and then walk around the mall to look at the shops in the area. read more

Really enjoyed the pizza here! Love the thin crust, although at times I felt like it was a little too thin and wet, so it was saggy. Taste is great, especially on the Hot Honey. Not too spicy and a little sweet - perfect. The Marg was solid, but nothing to write home about. Some reviews mention that they burn the crust, but I didn't feel like our crust was unreasonably burned. It's definitely got a little char on it since they use coal fired ovens, but to be expected. The URBN Salad was fantastic! My whole table loved it, the candied nuts are sooo good. Up to 2 hours of free parking in the garage (at least on the weekends). THE FOOD. - Brussels Sprouts | I love it when Brussels sprouts are charred into crispy little delicate bites, while the interior evolves into a softer existence than what it once was. We normally hit up Urbn in North Park or Basic (RIP in East Village,) but when up in North County, we decided to try out the One Paseo location. If you are unfamiliar, Urbn serves New Haven style pizza. New Haven style is different than a NY or Neopolitan style but kind of blend of both. It has a very thin crust, that is floppy in the center and has a thin crispy crust edge. They are served in basically a half or full baking sheet. Urbn's gourmet pies are a great choice if you want something curated, or your can always build your own. If you are new to this restaurant and like to try new things, i highly recomend the Mashed Potato pie, which is a white pie with mozzarella, bacon, more fresh mozzarella and parm. I typically just like to build my own with just aplain cheese, or with pepperoni. I also like their coal fired wings. We usually get them in buffalo, and thy have a little heat, but mostly just the classic buffalo flavor with a little char from the oven. They have a nice dog friendly patio verlooking a common area between Harland brewery and Cava. They also will deliver their pizza to Harland, Pro tip. read more

I heard about this place through a friend based on the claim that it is New Haven style pizza. Since I'm from CT and know Pepe's and Sally's well, I thought I would give it a try. I was disappointed that my local Urbn does not deliver through DoorDash and Uber Eats and was told same owners. Here is my honest opinion. It's close but not quite there. It is missing some spice and the Italian sausage is not the same. Overall it was good but I don't recommend having it delivered by Uber Eats more than 7 miles. Urbn is one of our favorite local spots. The food is delicious, the staff is extremely friendly and always welcoming, and we love how dog friendly this place is. We held our daughter's UCSD graduation party at Urbn with about 35 people and it couldn't have been more perfect and fun! I worked with Hailey, who made sure there was plenty of everything (pizza, appetizers, wine and beer) throughout the evening and even sliced up the cakes we brought to the celebration!
