Just had a great visit with UrgentVet. I booked my time slot online, I arrived 25minutes early and was giving a room with in 5 minutes. Nurse was very friendly asked plenty of questions to make sure she fully understood the full issue at hand. When the doctor came, she fully understood the situation. She then proceded with a physcial inspection of my cat. When she was done she gave me her assessment of what the possible issues were and asked how I would like to proceded. Due to the age of my cat with opted to go with a none surgical/invasive route. The doctor then gave me a few options of how we could go about treatment/care with pain medication and antibiotics. In the end, I was very happy with the care, attention, and time invested with me and my pet for the price I paid. Our 12-year-old dog was suffering from allergy issues, so after visiting our regular veterinarian on March 31, 2026, we sought a second opinion at Urgent Vet on April 3, 2026. They diagnosed him with Valley Fever and prescribed three different medications. We were told he had had a faint positive. Instead of improving, his condition worsened. On April 14, 2026, we brought him back to our regular veterinarian after noticing black stool. During that visit, our vet discovered that the Urgent Vet had not performed a titer test to confirm the Valley Fever diagnosis. Our vet believed the medications may have caused a bleeding ulcer and warned that he might require emergency care. We asked our veterinarian to run a titer test along with standard bloodwork. Sadly, his condition declined rapidly, and on April 16, 2026, we had to take him to an emergency hospital when his organs began to shut down. In the end, we were faced with the heartbreaking decision to put him to sleep on April 17, 2026. Today, April 22, 2026, I followed up with our regular veterinarian regarding the blood test results and was informed that the titer test came back negative and also indicated that his liver was failing from the other blood tests that were done. We now have thousands of dollars of hospital bills and a broken heart. I will NEVER recommend urgent vet to anyone!!! If I could put no stars on this review, I would! read more

I am incredibly disappointed with our experience here. We brought our 3-month-old kitten to this urgent care after she became ill. It took approximately four hours for us to receive a diagnosis, even though there didn't appear to be other patients waiting. After spending around $1,000 on diagnostics and treatment, it was after midnight when we were told our kitten most likely had FIP - which turned out to be a life threatening illness. We then learned the clinic did not have the medication available and were told we would need to drive across the street to the emergency hospital to obtain it, at an additional estimated cost of $500-800 for another exam and evaluation to receive the medication. As pet owners in the middle of an emotional crisis, this was overwhelming. We believed waiting until the morning to start treatment would be okay, based on the information we had at the time. We got her started on medication as soon as we could the next morning, but tragically, she passed away. The vet says she needed to start treatment sooner and hours can matter. I can't say with certainty that having medication immediately available would have changed the outcome, but I will always wonder. When minutes and hours matter, it's incredibly difficult to understand why an urgent care facility would diagnose a life-threatening condition yet not have access to the medication needed to begin treatment or a more seamless way to provide it. Losing our 3-month-old kitten has been one of the most heartbreaking experiences our family has ever gone through. She was deeply loved and deserved every possible chance. I sincerely hope this clinic reviews its protocols for critically ill patients so that future families have access to treatment as quickly as possible. read more

If I could give a zero, I would. My cat threw up blood and I was very worried. I wanted to make sure his vitals were okay, i.e. heart rate, breathing, temperature. I informed them that he can get aggressive at the vet because he's scared. Instead of taking his vitals first, she decided to start pushing on him from behind which set him off and she was unable to check anything. I left knowing NOTHING. I feel like I was robbed of $129. Save your money and DO NOT go here. There are other emergency vets nearby. It's not worth it. EDIT: I would like to add that they reached out regarding the visit and completely lied stating that the doctor used a stethoscope to check the heart rate and lungs of my cat. I was in the room the entire time. It is unfortunate that they cannot handle their business with honesty, accuracy and accountability. read more

We took our dog here because she'd been having some symptoms for a few days and we felt she need to be seen. We were taken to a dog room to wait. The room was comfortable, bright, cheery, with a little couch and a comfortable chair. This served as our waiting area and exam room. There were a few chairs in hallways, but not a big waiting room per se. We have been to urgent care and emergency vets with pets in the past and this one was much quicker. The tech and the vet were both kind and caring. The suggested lab work and tests were pretty expensive, but they printed out an itemized list of tests/costs and let us decide what we wanted done. They sent us home with some meds that seem to be helping. The one thing we didn't really like is that when they drew blood, they had to take her to a different room. We could hear her screaming as she tried to get the muzzle off and felt she would've been less scared if one of us could've been with her. We took my dog to this clinic around 8 pm. The woman who answered the locked/video monitored door was less than friendly. She made us feel as though we had inconvenienced her. The doctor took my pet out of the room for examination, which I have never experienced before. It felt a little suspect and uncomfortable. His demeanor was lackadaisical at best. After the visit, I received an email entitled "Veterinary Medical Record". Raj Joshi, DVM wrote in the record "Owner denied further treatment". Further treat was not offered. He also wrote that an injection was offered, but declined. An injection was not offered. I would not take my dog there. No pun intended. read more

I brought my cat into Urgentvet on Sunday evening and have been trying to get someone in the office to approve my prescription at Chewy's for the last three days. Order has been cancelled twice because they refused to approve it and said I needed to come back into the office. Yet I was initially told they would approve the meds. Hasn't been done yet and they keep lying to me telling me it will get done. I will never go to them again! They might have compassion for the animals but I haven't seen any yet! Was told an hour ago that they would call Chewy's and approve the order. I suspect it has something to do with their prices being three times what others are charging for same meds! read more

I brought my senior dog to UrgentVet on Saturday because she had stopped eating and drinking and could not wait for treatment until the appointment with my vet on Tuesday. I knew she had a serious diagnosis and was unwell, but I did not realize just how unwell she had become when I put her in my car. The staff at UrgentVet were unfailingly kind and professional. They clearly wanted what was best for my dog. They tried to help her, and when the measures they tried were unsuccessful, they gave me the information, space, and time I needed to let her go. It was extremely painful and difficult, but they showed me nothing but compassion and grace. I would definitely use them again for any urgent veterinary need. read more

Our last visit with urgent vet started bad after i did put my info out for it to be known how that visit went The Manager did reach out to me which was not expected she did do what she could to make our kitty Khole get the correct treatment that was needed with that being said she did let me know that this visit she wilk get the exam that she was supposed to have her first visit with no charge of the walk-in fee which I believe was 120 I could be wrong khole did have her blood work done we did get what she needed it was her eye but it did have a scratch on it knowing she had some kind of trauma when she got out of the house Her first visit we where told No Signs of a scratch Not real sure why or what was done when they take your babies in the back we cant see what is going in I do understand thats the way they do things I do think we should have that option to be with them or not ....After Khole visit she has recovered 100percent and I do believe it was a bad night her first visit and by me letting it known it was resolved and I will use Urgent vet again but not with the vet that we had that night I was very concerned for Khole the few days that we where told give her time to recover she was not doing so she did get worse at the end of the 4th day we got her back in and the vet we had was very good he took his time to explain to me what he felt was going on with her and with her blood work it did make sense We did end up spending $282 more then we had it's unfortunate that had to happen first for Khole to get the medical attention that was needed ..And the eye meds that we had to purchase those where not going to be what Khole needed we did have to get a different prescription for her so we ended up spending $70 dollars on eye meds that will not be used ...I want to say Thank you to the manager that reach out to me I do appreciate your help and time you took to help our little girl out and it also gave me the trust in your clinic and Thank you to the vet that we had that day I do apologize i do not remember his name he was a gentleman that truly cares for animals and is great at his job Khole thanks you as well... The vet and staff are great. My problem. When I picked up my cat. Had a conversation with the vet about what I needed to do with her once she got home. A lot of directions. Didn't know if I could remember them all. Asked for a printout. Because all I got was the receipt from my credit card I paid with. Was told oh we will email them to you. Mind you they emailed me like 4 times before I ever went in. Waited 2 days nothing. Finally called them they somehow added a s to my email. Finally got an itemized receipt and follow up care instructions. But the biggest red flag. I gave them the name of my veterinarian and all the info about them phone number everything. Saw my vet today. 2 weeks later. They never sent them any information about the visit or what they did. So now I have to go back to my vet tomorrow to give them a copy of my what was done. Never going back. Going to pay more for a emergency vet. And this is the 2nd time I have gone to them. Same thing the first time. Never got an itemized receipt and never sent anything to my vet. All they give you is a receipt from your payment and nothing else. So, if you want emergency vets to take care of your animals. The vets are fine. If you want any follow up instructions. Make sure you take a pad and paper to write it down. Because they won't give a printout. And obviously 2 times and never sent info to my vet. So, they don't do that either. We had a good experience with this office. It was unfortunately for an End of Life visit for our sweet old dog. Made an appointment online and was greeted right away and taken to a quiet room with a couch and chair. The tech was very understanding and thorough explaining the process. The vet was also empathetic, explained again what was happening, and didn't rush us through the process. Every person we dealt with was wonderful. read more

Went there when my dog got but by a random dog in my neighborhood. They kept me waiting for 45 min. Vet came in, did not come near my dog, diagnosed from a distance of 5 ft. Left for some emergency for another 45 minutes. Came back and proceeded to tell me my dog needed a shunt and sedation and blah blah blah.i told her i probably could not afford all that. She had her eyes weirdly closed like jim Morrison for the rest of the convo. Left me again for 45 minutes. Assistant came in with a$2250 treatment plan. Charged me$125 for absolutely NOTHING. They did nothing for my dog. Iall i wanted was a rabies shot. No after care instructions no possible alternatives. Never looked at my dog physically. I will never do that again. I should have listened to my inner voice and left. They didn't even have my name right. read more

We had an old cat that took sick suddenly on Sunday evening. UrgentVet's website said they were open to 8PM and we made an appointment for 7:20 using their website's pop-up. We drove 45 minutes to get there on-time, 40 minutes before the closing time. They turned us away at the door, in an empty waiting room with no other patients, and would not do anything for the cat because any exam, tests, and treatment MIGHT take longer than 8PM and "the doctor leaves at 8:00 PM sharp". We were able to find a different urgent care/emergency vet while in the car with a sick cat, after dark, on a Sunday night, who quickly dealt with problem, but we have nothing but disgust and anger for the dishonest advertising and the way we were treated at UrgentVet. read more

We went to Urgentvet and everyone was very friendly. the vet explained everything that was. going to happen.
