I own a car wash near the corner of Bell Rd and 43rd Ave (inside City of Phoenix). Almost every night, my business is ransacked by homeless people, dumping over trash cans and ripping the hoses off our our vacuums, in search of spare change. Many times they try to break into our building, which triggers a burglar alarm. The police NEVER show, but code enforcement charges me $96 per alarm occurrence. I've repeatedly tried to BEG for extra patrols, but when I've repeatedly called the "non-emergency" number, it rings off the hook (CALLED ~15X AND NO ONE HAS EVER ANSWERED). SINCE THEY DON'T PROVIDE ANY PROTECTION FOR CITIZENS AND SMALL BUSINESS OWNERS, THROW US A BONE AND DON'T COLLECT THESE FEES/FINES.

I feel like this place is a waste of time and waste of money and I don't even get my money refunded. I'm so pissed. I'm not saying that I cannot get my fingerprints professionally done by another agency or by the cops, but I feel like they should've told me before I paid $72 and when they looked at my fingerprints, they should've told me that before I even paid because then I wouldn't have not purchased anything and could've saved my $72 for the professional fingerprints I mean, I could get my fingerprints done by again so they're clear but I feel like that's a waste of time and a waste of money because I feel like if I already got rejected I'll probably get rejected for my licensing so I just feel frustrated but next time in the future, I will have many fingerprints ready, but this was all an experience though just so extremely frustrated and disappointed, but I feel like everything happens for a reason, but will never come back :(

The Tempe Police Department responded FAST to a terrifying home burglary and assault that my…read moreboyfriend and I recently experienced. We called 911 and a fleet of cops came knocking on our door in less than two minutes. They were quick to react, immediately advised me to get on my Cerberus tracking app, and stayed with me until the thieves were apprehended. They kept asking me if I was ok and when my adrenaline went down an hour later, they even apologized for the brute and cold way they first spoke to me. (I was like, DUDE you guys are doing your job, I'm not offended that you didn't coddle me, LOL. Apologizing was not necessary at all.) Detective Michelle Reyes was so sweet, extremely professional, and gladly answered all my questions about the case afterward. The police technicians did take a really long time to finish fingerprinting my phone and miscellaneous items (they said it'd take 2-3 days... it ended up taking 17 days lol) but hey, I'm just glad they recovered all my stolen items in the first place. I'm honestly so grateful. Despite the terrifying ordeal, I feel safe knowing that the Tempe Police Department is vigilantly watching over my community.

During a very difficult evening with my 86‑year‑old mother, who suffers from dementia and…read morealcoholism, the Peoria Police Department showed exceptional professionalism and compassion. The 911 operator carefully listened to my concerns, honored my request for a silent response, and clearly communicated the situation to the responding units. Seven officers and several fire department members arrived and handled everything with patience, kindness, and respect, taking time to explain what they were doing and to reassure our family. A special mention to the female officer who gently spoke with my mother and helped calm her down--her empathy made a huge difference. I would also like to give a heartfelt thank you to Sergeant K. Scheideman for his calm, steady leadership throughout the incident. His demeanor set the tone for the entire team and turned an overwhelming situation into one where we felt truly supported and cared for. I am deeply grateful to the Peoria Police Department and highly commend them for their service.
