I just left the salon without getting my nails done. I have been going here for 7 months mainly because they are the only ones in town. Today when I got there they only had one customer and three workers. I asked for a manicure and pedicure. They know I am a regular. They set me at a chair to soak my feet. A group of 3 came in for pedicures and they started working on them first. After waiting 30 minutes I got up and left. They said just walk around and come back in 30 minutes. No thanks. Went in to get a manicure around 4:15 and picked my color just like any other salon visit. The selection of colors was really low and not impressive (40% of the bottles looked like they had been there for years..) but I found a good Christmas red and that's what I wanted. The guy who painted my nails didn't shape, buff, or clean them at all and cut me as he was ripping my cuticles off. He kept huffing and sighing and rolling his eyes so much that at first I thought he may have a breathing problem, but on second thought I'm pretty sure he just didn't want to have to do anything the last hour and a half the salon was open. He also had a seeping sore on his thumb that really grossed me out. The guy didn't paint my whole nails, just the tops and when i pointed this out he looked at it and said "Where?" when there was clearly not any paint on my nail closer to the skin. He wasn't thorough with any of them and 8 out of 10 had this problem (since i pointed it out twice and got 2 fixed up i didn't feel like staying there another 5 minutes just to argue with him about doing a poor job) and what's that white cake-y stuff you left under my nails? That wasn't there before i walked it.. Save your money, $17 for just a lousy pain job? No thank you. i'd rather just get 2 new bottles at Sephora and do it myself. Save time, frustration and blood, not to mention the risk of infection. They all thought it was hilarious when a chicken came in and pooped on the floor and another guy just grabbed a towel from a Pedi tub and smeared the feces around, then proceeded to let it walk around the salon read more

The guy that works in the first chair did a great job on my nails. After I broke one I went in and had one of the girls fix my nail. She did such a half ass bad job, the gel Polish looked horrible and the nail was shorter than the rest. She was too lazy to remove the broken nail so she trimmed as much of it off and left the rest before adding a new nail and acrylic. After a week I started noticing a dark spot of fungus so I removed the nail again. read more

I would leave ZERO stars. owner does NOT care about customers. I called prior to arrival for a gel removal and redo a new manicure. Upon owner seared me in the pedicure chair. ok not a problem... on limited time but was hoping while getting my nails soaked off same time. when I asked about soaking off my nails, she said they would do it later. Long story short when I told him that I called and I asked specifically about getting my nails done and she forced me into a pedicure chair and forced me to get a pedicure and then said oh it was my fault. I sat in the chair. She's not wrong. But to my defense all I wanted was to get my nails soaked off and redone. sadly, it was very obvious she didn't care what I wanted. All she cared about was getting a manicure pedicure out of every customer that walked in the door and making it as expensive as possible. Do not go here. I've calling the health department nothing was sanitized and the Better Business Bureau, because I feel like I was trapped. read more

My daughter is a college student there and went in for a fill. She is on a tight budget and told the lady three times she wanted regular polish but she was told she HAD to get gel. The lady even told her that she would charge her extra if she got regular polish. I feel that they took advantage of her youth and naiveté and she left there paying twice what she should have. Owner is accommodating and usually has someone available to do acrylics. Not so good with appointments though because most of their clientele are tourists and tourist tend to "flake" with appointments so I can understand their hesitation in taking them. wow I wish I could give 0 stars, I wanted to just get my toe nails painted & they looked very ugly and smudged when they finished so I asked them to take the polish off I just wont get anything (I was somewhat disappointed but I still tipped) I sat waiting for my friend to finish her nails, as we were about to leave the guy named Kevin who is a nail tech & may be the owner yelled at me to pay full price for my service even though I didn't have anything done after everything was said and done and I said well I didnt even get anything at the end because my nails ended up so ugly He then got very loud and was very rude he said word for word "people like me always try to come here and get free stuff" I said what do you mean people like me? He said people that look like me your people which I am mixed with black and so I take as a racist remark against black people which was beyond upsetting, he then said nail polish is not free so im assuming he wants me to pay the $13 for the crappy nail polish not to mention the nail polish i happened to pick I found out after she applied it was dry and cracking and she even poured nail polish remover inside and shook it like that was going to help! It obviously didn't which is why my nails came out ugly, he also said he has to pay to keep the lights on and alot of other mean things I said I'd pay like 5 times and he kept going on and on, I ended up paying and he tells me never to come back here if im not satisfied with the work and I said I would be satisfied if it was done correctly and he said thats not his problem, really its his business and he dont care how his services come out not cool at all, I left after this but it bothered me so I called and asked for a refund I said I should not have to be treated like this he said he dont care and he doesn't have time for this so I went back and the girl tech that helped me who was nice but obviously knew she messed up gave me my money back well he yelled and said if i want my money back to call the police I almost did and was going to report that he was harassing me but I left after getting my money and I am definitely not going back EVER!! First I would like to say the service was fast friendly and exactly what I asked for. I needed to get all dolled up for my wedding and this place was my first stop. I got in at 10 AM on a Thursday as a walk in and they were able to take me right away. I got the gel powder with a white tip. Kevin was my technician he was very good about asking me what I wanted before proceeding with the process. The prices were fair, $40, for my treatment and from start to finish took between 35-40 minutes. I am from the mainland and got my nails done here not really knowing what to expect or how they would accommodate a walk in and I was pleasantly surprised. From my short time there it appears that they have a loyal customer base that I hope this review will broaden. If you are visiting and want a break from the beach this place is perfect. The inside isn't fancy but they treat everyone like family and are good listeners and of course masters at what they do. So to all my fellow visitors and also to everyone in the area I would highly recommend this place. read more

The sanitation really looks sketchy and the paint job was less than acceptable... Especially for the price. I visited this place because my friend needed a quick under arm wax while we were camping nearby. They were quick and efficient. I feel like I should take away a couple stars for them not listing to me after I told them 2 times I only wanted a color change on my toes and to fix one broken nail and a color change on my hands. I ended up getting a full blown pedi my nail fixed and a fill. But I love being places that feel local while on a vacation and they took me in even though they were really busy. I have gone here a handful of times, only because it is near where I live. Sometimes is not bad, but more than once they have cut my cuticles too much and made me bleed. The most recent time I got an infection on one of the 3 places they made me bleed. It was painful. They also cut my cuticle on my thumb so short that it dried out and the skin moved back from under the nail and it hurt. I got gel nail polish and within a week I had a few chips, which usually I don't experience that soon. So $105 for gel polish mani and pedi with ombre and an infection plus pain. However, I took my daughter with me and she wanted cateye gel polish on her nails, which they charged extra for and it did not look like it at all. Also all of her gel polish pull off within 5 days. Its like they did not cure it property. So $60 for a 8 year old to get her nails done with gel on fingers only that didn't last a week--the regular polish on her toes is at least still there--but gel should last at least 2 weeks. My other daughter had a different technician do her nails and they looked great and are still looking great. So it just depends who you get and if they are in a hurry. They do charge more for every little thing so that by the time you are done you could have gone to Bella Via instead for the same price only more elegant and longer time--wish it were closer. read more

They also did the shittiest job on my nails; they're thick and look nothing like what I told them to do. I told them to keep it short and round, and they gave me long, square nails even though while they were doing it I repeatedly told them to do them shorter and rounder. I also had set an appointment online. Upon arriving they told me they never check their online server and that I would have to wait 20 minutes. I waited 45. Never going there again, you're better off having a retarded kinder-gardener paint your nails for both quality and price. She spoke briefly to others in what I assume is her native language but she wasn't neglectful of me at all. I enjoyed her vigorous hand and leg massages.
