Can't reach an actual live person to talk to so you have to drive there daily. The office is so small that the admin are located offsite, which i understand but they have no communication. I'm new to the area and asked for lock change which will take 3-4 weeks. Im the meantime i was told my mail would be pulled from the box and held at the office. We've now driven there 2 days in a row and they have no idea where is at or if it's even been pulled. Staff is friendly but friendly doesn't get you your mail. read more

Cory P was the worse experience we have ever encountered. Brandon is so wonderful and nice always but Cory P should not be LEAD. He was difficult for no reason and acted like he couldn't hear that we told him there is no labels on floor and continued to say "you can grab a label from there" just for us to say you need to restock it "it's none". He needs to be retrained on Perfume lbs and etc because he is clueless. Brandon is the best and is so knowledgeable but it's always someone else in charge or leading that's just related to the owner who got given the position. Then he said we can't use a priority label because it's gonna go by FLIGHT to PHOENIX "is he ok?" Do he hate MELANIN people? he made no sense. Why would they put a in-state package on a plane for PHOENI? He started to turn RED Because he knew it didn't make any sense. He needs to be retrained! read more

On several occasions I had to drive to this post office just to talk to someone because they RARELY ANSWER THEIR PHONES. Very frustrating. When there, most employees are friendly and provide good customer service, but there's one guy (I sooo wish I had his name) who either hates his job or hates his life. I am so upset with our mail carrier right now, that I'm shaking. Several months ago there was an incident with one of our dogs going after her car when she tried to stop and make a delivery of a package at our door. Following a conversation with the postmaster, we put up a sign asking all deliveries to long honk twice before entering the property--we added the word "looong" because we realized we could not hear two short beeps coming from the end of the driveway. This way, we can make sure the dogs are inside). Twice now she has had to deliver to the house and has not honked nor come down the drive. I just happened to look out the window because the dogs were barking like fools in the house because her car was sitting at the end of the driveway, and then I had to go out to the street to get the packages. Which leads me to today. I have been waiting for 10 days for a package to arrive from Tennessee (It did not move from the UPS Innovative Mailings center--a UPS/USPS collaboration for at least 5 days--just sat there, which is a whole other issue). Today my husband found a notice in the mailbox that she did not make the delivery because of animal interference. I was not home, but to his knowledge, the dogs were not only not out, but the honking would have made the dogs start barking and alert us. They never did, which makes us reason that she never honked. Because it is a holiday weekend, I now have to wait for 3 more days and then go in and pick up the package myself. I am so frustrated with this! I understand that the dogs barking and one of them nipping at the car was frightening. They love people, but one just doesn't like large vehicles. But we made the accommodation that was required; someone from the post office came out to actually see the sign before they would approve the carrier delivering to us. However, I feel as if the carrier is not making a good faith effort to make deliveries. And now I am having suffer because of it. The package contains a book proof that I need to see before it can be sold. Because of it sitting in the UPS/USPS warehouse for 5 days, and now having to wait another 3 days before I can even get it, it will be over a week later being able to advertise it. I am so angry over the whole situation! And I haven't even mentioned a previous package being left at the foot of our mailbox group getting stolen. It just seems ridiculous that I can't get my mail in a timely fashion. read more

Horrible customer service. The "Head Clerk" (I missed her name) is beyond rude and should not have that position. Time to retire. Making faces. Lazy service. My kids were with me and even they (18/9) wanted to leave and mentioned her attitude. We did nothing. We were polite. Looking to get passports renewed. I would say don't go there to do your renewal but that makes less work for her. Screw it. Make sure you go to this crappy government post office. Make her work. Unacceptable! Came in with two prepaid mailers -- but didn't have labels affixed -- after waiting in line, worker stated I would have to buy tape to do so! Ridiculous! Apparently you cannot order any packages from Amazon if you're staying in an Airbnb in Cave Creek because you do not have residence. I was very appreciative that I was able to still get my packages in a timely manner after some calls to the post office. The lady at the post office was friendly and helpful. Now I know. Don't order from Amazon while staying in Cave Creek unless I you're a permanent resident! read more

Went here to get passports completed. Yes it was a hassle but they are just doing the work required by The Man. As for the post office, it's small with only 3 windows max available. When I first got there it was empty but it filled up with a pretty good line (maybe 7-9 peeps). It's a post office so I don't expect too much in the way of pleasantries or efficiency. I would say the employees here ranked higher than normal post office but they only have so much to work with. read more

This post office is the slowest! Never have stocked priority mail items. Usually only one person and it takes them forever.

Post office that won't deliver packages to my house. We had never had a problem with our mail until recently. We noticed our mail started coming significantly later, like after 5. Then one day I got a message from Amazon saying delivery was attempted but failed. I knew this wasn't true, as we had been home all day. I scheduled a redelivery online, and it still didn't show up. I went to the post office to pick up my package, where they told me that I lived on a unmaintained dirt road, so it was their policy not to deliver. I told them our entire neighborhood was dirt roads and ours is no different, also they used to deliver packages to our door without a problem. Next we ordered a gift for a birthday party. I paid extra to have quick shipping so it would get here on time. It was supposed to be delivered Saturday, and I got another notice that delivery attempt failed. No birthday gift. So now, whenever I order a package I have to have it arrive a few days early because our mail lady doesn't want to do her job. read more
