I had appointment for my son's passport at 10:15am so Saturday 8, We got there at 10am . We wait on the line for our turn when was our turn I explained about we had appointment so the person who was take care of us asked at the manager if I had appointment she asked me what is your last name I told her my last name and she said so rude you don't have appointment I said yes I do she replied you don't have appointments if you don't have confirmation number and they called next person in line so I had to go back to the line to wait for my turn to show my confirmation number . I've used this post office since 1982, which is the length of time I've lived in Grandview and I've always had excellent professional service. I've gone there for many different types of service: buying stamps, shipping packages, change of address, etc.. The clerks have always been very helpful and I've never witnessed rudeness on anyone's part. I also want to give a shout out to the carriers we've had. They have been friendly, efficient and kind. We've got to know some of them personally. I've learned that most people who write a review on anything seem to get off on being negative. They probably never review any place positively. I obviously love living in Grandview as I've not left in 41 years!! The residents here are good people although like any community we have a few bad apples. read more

Just look up the city..... maybe drive around it for 2 mins..... I really wish I could give anything in this city a decent review. But just like the rest of the town this place is shit. My mail keeps getting stolen I filed a report with the police think I could get anyone to contact me back at the post office about holding my mail..... what a joke! read more

I tried calling the number to the post office (816) 761-0345 and it was busy. Are you to tell me that the number is busy just when I call or maybe some Post Master thought it would be a good idea to just leave the phone off the hook, so if they never got a call, then no one could complain to them? I had a package in KC since 12/21 and I still have NOT received the package. I've made multiple complaints with the USPS and they just don't care. Did you know that a USPS employees make more than $25 an hour. So, how is that UPS and FedEx employees get half that amount but are able to ship packages to their owners on-time. I really didn't even want to give it 1 star this post office in Belton Missouri is so horrible. One of its carriers hit my mothers car over a year ago almost hit my son. Convinced my elderly mother not to call the police and then when she tried to get it resolved at the post office she was blown off and phone calls were ignored. They still have not contacted my mother regarding getting the damage done to her car fixed and were completely and totally rude. read more

Went to Longview Post Office, after waiting in line for ten minutes, I was told I need an appointment to apply for a passport. Drove to the Grandview P.O. and walked right in. Clerk was super friendly and helpful. Was in and out in 10 minutes. read more

Stood in a massive line for an hour to renew my 16 year old daughter's passport. They took her photo. It was almost her turn and then the lady announced that she would need a Driver's License or state ID. I said we didn't have one and they she just turned 16 5 days ago but I had her birth certificate and her father and I were both there. When we called they told us that would be all we would need. So she made us get out of line. We went to the Longview/kc location. There wasn't a line and the nice lady said the other woman was wrong that she didn't need it and she would help us. Thanks to the nice people at this location bc the Grandview people are idiots, very slow, and rude. read more

It seems that everyone always think to go to the post office at the same time! It doesn't matter what post office location you go to, Alaska, Ohio or Missouri all are are the same; long lines. What makes the difference when you visit a place that is busy & possibly has a long wait is customer service. How you handle your patrons I'd a major deal for me. I always have to take that into account with any dealing that I have at an establishment. Well, this location was spot on with great customer service & team work. I personally have never witnessed this with a post office. I arrive on a Tuesday after a holiday with hopes that everyone would be back to work & lines would be short. WRONG. I also was not in the best of moods because I had been trying to accomplish my business for months at the location near me. I was then sent to another location & finally ended at this location. I called to verify what I was told & this location actually ANSWERED the phones! The phones didn't ring forever either! As I waiting in the long line, I witnessed the perfessional behavior of the clerks as they had to deal with all types of personalities. Even when things got hostile & one of the computers went down they remained professional. One lady from the back came up to help by taking passport people & getting everything in order then another lady rang you up. One gentleman called people to the back if you needed your passport photo taken & then you went back in line. This location of employees did their best with what they had & streamlined the process as much as possible. Great job Grandview Postal employees you are the exception & not the rule. read more

This post office is hoooorrriible! Avoid if possible. I called 3 times before I came (that morning) just to verify what I would need and the times the walk ins were for passports. Received the same answer each time. We arrived 35 min early after a far drive and were told they weren't helping anyone else because they were busy. Horrible customer service! They only have 2 hours for walk ins, but only did walk ins for 1 hour, 15min....ummm of course they are busy! Do you job and not be lazy!!!! read more
