Just had a very good experience here at this post office. A lady name Wilbel was very helpful. Very good customer service. Very good attitude even though she was being rushed by management. Her focus on our passport was very well performed. We all face difficulties at with certain harassment on how fast you should get your job done but to keep your cool and still concentrate to do your best and not make any mistakes is absolutely incredible. I give Wilbel an A+. I give management there a D- for yelling across the room demanding them to hurry up with what they are struggling to do on a daily basis. All the drivers have been great but Recently got new driver in NW. Arrogant, unpleasant, condescending & disrespectful to say the least. He said his Supervisor is scared of him so reporting him would be of no value. Service here is worse than waiting in line at the DMV! There is one line for mail pick up and there could be 2 ppl or 20 ppl in line and you are there for an hour. You provide a package number and they scribble it down on a piece of paper! Guess they haven't caught up with computer tracking yet. Then the one person working the window is as fast as a sloth! They go and visually search the storage area with their scrap piece of paper. Overall, the people who work there are rude. They don't understand customer service. I had one guy searchin for my parcel for over 20 minutes and there was an employee sitting in the area with headphones in jamming out while the other dude is apparently lost in the post office trying to find my package. Do yourself a favor and get a UPS box and don't even mess with the Jones post office. oh, they know someone stole the master keys to the cluster boxes and allow deviants to steal our mail. Beware of drive-thru mail drop at this location. I deposited a first-class mail containing a cashier' check on June 22, 2023, at noon. Box was to be emptied at 12:30 pm according to posted schedule. Check never reached its destination. Visited my credit union on July 3rd to discover check had been altered and deposited locally. Investigation now started, but apparently this wasn't a result of mailbox fishing. This was in broad daylight during a busy time of the day and heavily used drive-thru. I tried emailing I've been calling all day and nobody ever picks up the phone at the Jones Boulevard address. The staff at the location are awful! They are not pleasant and don't care that customers wait for long lengths of time to pick up mail! A black guy was called and turned out he's the Manager! Really? He was rude and would not provide his name OR the contact information for the postmaster of that location! I went off on him! Fast and efficient. But it was a busy place on a Saturday. There was a bit of a line but all clerks were open so it moved.

What a worthless group of employees on the planet. So many errors in just 2023 alone and it's only been not even 5 months into the year. They changed the locks on my sons mailbox for no reason, no warning, nothing. When we went down to the post office, they said they didn't change it but if they did and we need a new key, we'd have to pay $40. Wtf. We never asked for a new lock . After MONTHS of back & forth, they finally put an order in to change his mail lock again, but this time, they changed the lock to a different house. Same house # but different street and have my son those keys..so he had access to someone else's mail. Again, it took a months to fix properly. Another issue was that they tried to deliver a package that i didn't know needed a signature but they left a note saying they'd come back the next day to redeliver. But did they? Of course not. When we came in early to renewal my mother passport and the front desk employee her name is Melissa and she is so damn rude and unprofessional and unpleasant! She talked down to us for asking a question and it's embarrassing to have her do that in front of a line with others waiting! This is the closest post office to my house and it's still pretty far from me. I feel post offices are becoming more rare these days. This post office is a decent size with its own large parking lot. The lines are usually long so come in expecting to wait. I saw a lot of bad reviews for this post office and I agree, wait time is long and mailing things can get expensive, but none of the complains are the employees fault. The services here (when it's your turn) is good. Every employee I interacted with have been very helpful and pleasant. Customers have to understand that a lot of the policies of the post office the workers have no co trip over, so I get upset when I see customers yelling at the workers when they don't get their way. I will continue to come here because it's literally the only post office I know of. read more

I think it's absolutely crazy that i make a passport appointment 2 months in advance, get there 20 minutes early, wait in line for 15 minutes until someone tells me that there's pages of paperwork to fill out up front (like I'm supposed to cut the line and search for paperwork that no one told me about) and then i get called and they say my appointment is cancelled because I'm not ready even though i have every other document i needed. I said i will go to the back of the line i don't mind waiting again even though i shouldn't have to because nowhere on any email or confirmation or sign in the building does it say that we need to search for a passport paper to fill out before we wait in line for 15 minutes lol. I asked to speak to a manager and it was actually the guy that told me i needed to fill out a paper but he wouldn't come back out to speak to me so it's just all kinda ... crazy. read more

I sent a package for overnight which the receipt says guaranteed or a full refund would be given. Our package took a few days unfortunately. We went to our local mail store which has a small post office inside, but informed me we had to go to the original branch. Not a problem, we went back to the Jones location and were given a full refund without any issues. read more

The man on the phone had delivered the same day; he must have personally delivered to my house, or had a delivery service deliver it. I used to dread coming here because lines were so long and there was no one around to help answer questions or direct you to the right line to wait in. The past few months of coming to visit, there was someone around to answer questions. Yea I was irritated they don't have a postage meter and I'm curious why prices for stamps and postal service increase when customer service and service in general is non existent. When I was a kid, you could go to the post office and bill mail, now you can buy stamps and stand there and stamp them with 3 workers not doing much of anything. After the frustration of traveling to multiple UPS offices in the same day this location was the best and quickest despite having a long line stretching several feet outside like all of the others. One of the major differences is that they had a staff member greeting guests in the door and assisting them by giving instructions on what they need to to before customers get to the counter. This dramatically cut down on each persons time, including mine, when they got to the desk. The line person and Ms. Dean at the counter were amazing. This was much appreciated extra service that helped me send my time sensitive package without spending long periods of time standing in the Vegas sun. Thank you! read more

This review is for the VERY rude female Caucasian postal clerk who looked to be in her 60's with short salt & pepper hair working at this location. My father and I went in around 9:08 am on Saturday, April 2nd with an International package. He filled out the appropriate forms online and also paid for postage online but was unsure as to how many copies he needed and just wanted to make sure all was in order prior to mailing out. It's our turn and all this woman kept repeating was, "didn't you read, it says it right there?" in a condescending tone. I explained to her that we were both unsure as to how many copies we needed and just wanted to confirm. She was so frustrating! She was like an emotion less robot on repeat! :( She then took the fragile box and at approx. 4 feet dropped it onto the cement floor. After she did this he responded with "What are you doing? No wonder we've had breakage from this location". She responded with a scripted statement and went on with her business. With Federal jobs so hard to get you have this one employee who treats people this way. Sure, she supposedly knows all the answers (which she should) and people from all walks of life come in and need help which I believe is part of her job, service and assistance with a smile. No individual should be treated this way. Up until now we've had no problems with employees at this location. They are usually nice and helpful so props go out to those employees. 4 Stars for them! read more

This place always has a line of at least 15 people deep. They really need to open another location near here. I overheard another customer telling a friend he waited over two hours for a passport appt. That is unacceptable. There's only one APC and even that always has a line. Not to mention the drop box is always so packed to the brim you can't even pull down the lever! In this case you can drop off your package at the counter (don't have to wait). You'll know where; right by the huge stack of other packages that couldn't fit in the drop box. As a general view, the automated phone service used by usps is atrocious. It makes it quite difficult to reach a human being. That said, I was finally able to speak to Chris, a supervisor at the crossroads post office. I had a small issue in which he was able to assist me and actually call me back when the mission was accomplished. This is a post office. What more can you say? Sometimes it is crowded and sometimes not. I personally have never really had an issue with extreme crowds here, but I try to come early on Saturdays if I`m going to mail anything that requires assistance. The employees I have encountered have been nice. It is generally clean. There are tons of mailboxes. I haven't had anything lost. *shrug*. It's a decent post office. This is the worst post office I've ever had to deal with. I have had multiple issues with package delivery over the last two years. On the most recent occasion the driver pulled up to our driveway, stopped for a couple of seconds, and then drove off. They listed it as "No Authorized Recipient Available." They never even got out of the vehicle, and we have it all on camera. Never mind trying to call the phone number listed. It will ring for 3 minutes and then disconnect. The last time something like this happened I had to go to the post office on four different occasions, and they couldn't find my package. Don't bother asking for a supervisor, they're either on vacation, at lunch or just plain unavailable. I showed up at 9am and was told they'd be available at 2. I went back at 2, they were at lunch. The excuses never end, and no one ever takes accountability. I have informed delivery and multiple pieces of mail have been lost over the course of six months. No one seems to care at all. read more

The company took accountability the first time for it being sent back for wrong zipocde. When in fact, the zip code was correct the entire time.
