I am not certain of what is going on with this post office. I moved into 89131 zipcode at the beginning of February, putting in a change of address card right before my move. I keep having delivery issues. I contacted the manager of this office, she keeps telling me that it is not her location that is having the problem, it is my former. She told ME to phone them because she did and did not get through, really...... I did received some old forwarding mail in April that had dates of February 1-4th. Where is my other mail from the 5th of February up to April? I have missing checks, a card with money from my 100 year old aunt. I receive Informed delivery, and today makes it the second time that I did not receive all of my mail on this list of mail that I can see that is coming to my mail box. The first piece of mail is an check, and today I did not receive a piece of mail that look's like it may be a check. Therefore, I believe that it is the mail carrier themself is stealing anything that look's like a check. I dont believe that the carrier is the one that scans the mail to be delivered because it there has been too many check's that's missing to be that dumb. I have contact everyone in authority with the USPS, and the reply is that they cannot locate the mail, if they do locate it, they will mail it out. The post office is taking advantage of the virus crisis to rip people off because they presently have no accountability to answer for it. Even the USPS in D.C. phone answering machine message's state that they are not accepting any phone calls. So therefore, my letter carrier is taking check's because they can at this point without any accountability. Whenever thing's get back to normal, I can guarantee that this carrier will be found out and I hope will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law, and I hope this branch manager will be terminated from her job as well. read more

I would rather cut off my toe than have to come here. Every employee is rude and lazy. Just draining tax dollars while you wait in an endless line helped by one person. The package pick up is hands down the worst. It's gotten so bad that if I order something and they ship through USPS I sometimes don't even order it based off that fact alone. Right off of Jones and the 215, this is a very great and convenient location. Lines are on and off especially during the lunch hour (either really long or really short) They offer P.O boxes and business pick up there as well. Service is a little slow but as the same as all post offices VERY LARGE parking lot just about 0.5miles off the freeway. No complaints ever. Wish they were a little more friendly but def get the job done as quick as possible. read more

Oh Goodness! This place really needs more help during the Holidays! I am not sure how efficient they are in other times, but I would avoid them totally between November and December! Two years in a row, and three attempts- we ended up giving up and going to FedEx! I heard stories from my relatives who live in the vicinity, but I had to experience it myself to believe it! Uggghhh.... When a large parking lot is full, and nowhere to park, that is a signal of the speed inside. Busy, lines, and slow employees.... It has drastically changed in the 10 years- there is always more than one person at the counter now, and pre-Covid there was a USPS worker who would do a "quick checkout" if you were mailing flat rate- which reduced your wait in line. Requested a new key for the house I just started renting, been having to go in almost everyday to get that key and every time they send me away saying come in the next day. They can't even assist me in opening the box which is restricting me from working. I ended up requesting the mail to be pulled and held at the post office. This is the worst Post Office in the Las Vegas metro area by far. They've lost multiple of my own packages, they lost my car registration 3 times in a row and they've lost multiple of my customers' packages. They lost 2 of my customers' packages for just this last 2020 holiday season. All the packages were dropped off directly at the USPS facility. If they lose your mail and it wasn't shipped with something like certified mail or priority express, you're pretty much screwed because they don't care and won't help you. read more

I waited in line for 10 mins, printed out label from home, ready to ship, $23 for a small envelope gift to CA. all I need is "priority express mail" padded envelope, when I get to the counter, the lady gave me nasty face, told me to find the envelope on the shelf. If I have found one, I wouldn't need to waited in line to ask her. Then finally she handed me a envelope, I asked if I could use the tape. They have "priority mail tape" she said NO!!! Contrary to many reviews on here I've had a pretty good experience with this post office. It seems like someone is always available to help (even though sometimes there are lines), but so far there have been at least 2 people working the counter at all times. Who knows, maybe it's just the times I usually go. The last time I went, one of the employees went out of their way to help me pick up a package being held there. I also had my mailbox re-keyed with zero issues. All in all, I've been to a few post offices around town and this one has probably been the best. read more

There is something seriously wrong with this U.S. Post Office. Seriously. Perhaps it is the duty station that all USPS employees get reassigned to after being voted out of their previous workplaces. Perhaps some of their postal officers aim to fuck up simply because they enjoy watching the world burn. Countless times I have had other people's (neighbours, and even persons from across the fucking valley, inexplicably) correspondence in my box. Countless times. I can only imagine that some of my mail might have ended up in Edwin Paduca's hands. Today, I find a key. Sweet! Some dumb shit I purchased has already arrived. Not the quickest location but it's pretty convenient (logistically) for me. The other reviews about the ridiculous line that reaches the door is pretty accurate. So far, any time of day that I have visited that's been the case. Perhaps more clerks at the desk might be helpful?? So as much as I'd like to avoid the post office, it's pretty hard for me to do since I'm always sending out a care package or letter or something of that sort. Plus, spring cleaning equals eBay for me, lol. And I've had fantastic luck selling everything I've listed. Yay me! Because of this I've been here a good amount lately. For me, the only good thing about this post office is the self checkout kiosk. I rarely have to wait to speak with a clerk anymore. I can weigh my package, type in the address, pay for the label and leave my package in the dropbox. In and out in less than 10 minutes. Obviously this service is easiest for flat rate boxes. Other boxes may take you a few more minutes if you're not familiar with the system. Thankfully the directions are pretty easy to follow. Just add the dimensions and you're good to go. read more

What a depressing shithole... Every employee should be on suicide watch. I go to a post office once a year and it gets so much worse each time. When are they going out of business again?? I went in, used a machine, dropped my box and left. EVERYONE in line looked miserable. The one employee I spoke with was friendly, the others looked like they were about to cry at any minute. The location is convenient, but it's the only post office in the area. The parking is well laid out and the entrances and exits will get you to either road in either direction safely. On the inside, it is FILTHY and sad. The floor must not have been swept since it opened. The counter tops were unkempt and disorganized. I came home, hugged my cat and took the rest of the day off to appreciate that I do not have to visit a post office again anytime soon. read more

Horribly slow, and understaffed, 2 clerks only are working there! this location is always super busy no matter at what time you go ! don't expect a quick trip to this post office, average wait 30-40 minutes!!!!! the usps kiosk service is busy as well and often out of service. Be aware for Overnight Express Mail, even if you mail it before the cut off time (3pm) it takes 2-3 days to be delivered ( it's the third time I'm paying for Express Mail and it gets delivered like a Priority Mai! ) seriously guys it's $20!!! I've come to this location numerous times and the wait is unreal. The employees are clueless and rude. The last interaction was picking up mail. The employee couldn't find the package in his area and kept repeating "I don't know I'm a mechanic" numerous times until he asked his supervisor. They both claimed the mail was being forwarded to my new address but couldn't tell me when it would arrive or if it was sent to another location. So a week later I find out that the package wasn't sent to my forward address but back to the sender. The miscommunication and lack of customer service is unbelievable at this location. I've even had an employee at this location tell me they don't have a particular form there but it was right behind the guy! Edit - so the packaged finally arrived yesterday they sent it to Phoenix to be forwarded to me. So it's safe to say the logistics team and really any staff member don't have any critical thinking. We had something sent certified mail and of course with our schedule we will miss it so we had to pick it up here. This is the longest line I've ever seen during a normal, not Christmas week at a regular ole office. I don't know how they say the post offices are losing money when there's constant flow. You know how there's normally a pickup window? Yeah no, you have to get in that long ass line. I guess they tried their best to get through people efficiently. This one somehow has so many people getting passports which I'm not sure why as I thought all usps have that service. After I experienced a misdelivered package that said it was delivered in my mailbox. Reporting it. Having someone call me about it making like she spoke to my mom that lives in Georgia about the missing package. Contacting consumer affairs. Being contacted again about another package they purposely returned to sender. When if tracked you can see it was at LV distribution and next scan was supposed to be at their post office. Person that called claimed it never made it through customs. Then ever since last Sunday I've been receiving packages I didn't order with my name on them every day. Since this conversation with them 1-2 weeks ago. Having to write return to sender on them and leave them for mailman in box. I don't know what's going on with this post office. I was so disappointed when I came in. I expect a long wait at the post office, I expect at least one crying child and at least one person violating my space.. All of that I can live with but incompetence usually drives me a little nuts. I needed a P.O. Box and decided to pay for my box and fill out the rental form online in an attempt to expedite my process. When it was finally my turn to speak with an agent he seemed totally befuddled with the paperwork, mind you, this is the paperwork directly from the USPS website. I'm not exactly sure what is going on with our Jones Post Office/Postal Carriers but since the summer, I've had more misdelivered packages happen than ever before. The postal carrier (not sure if it's the same one) keeps putting our packages in our neighbors box. (At least it's been the same neighbor). When the tracking information says that your package has been delivered and it's in your mail box when it's clearly not, what do you do? Are you supposed to knock on all of your neighbor's doors to try and track your package down? Because in the post office's system they think your package was delivered and it was, just not correctly. So where do we go from there? How do we make the USPS accountable for their mistakes? I get that the USPS, and other service carriers are slammed especially right now, but my packages started appearing in my neighbor's boxes long before the holidays started. PS: I did open up a claim with the USPS when my 1st package was misdelivered in the summertime and I never got a response back from the USPS. So that route doesn't work. read more

This post office held my mail for two weeks. I am a veteran who receives my medications through the mail. Unfortunately, I had to leave town due to an emergency, and unfortunately, five of my prescriptions were mailed out during that time frame. I share a mail box station with 8 other homeowners in my community. The station box sets outside, two houses down from my own. I opened up my box today to discover it was "jam packed" with my 5 bagged prescription medicines and other mail in 110 degree heat. I had checked the box at 2:00, and the carrier had not yet appeared. My medicine is smoking hot. One would think the carriers would have been smart enough to drive two houses down, ring my doorbell to make sure I was at home, and leave the mail with me as opposed to smashing everything (including medicine) in a tiny box in 110 degree heat. read more

Worst customer service, the supervisor named Bella was very rude. I shipped a package on August 28th 2020. They told me, it will be delivered in 6 business days, after 4 months the packages was never delivered. USPS lost the package, the made an investigation, found it and send it back due to lack of transportation due to the Pandemic. USPS agent asked me to go the Post Office for a refund since they can't deliver. The supervisor at the Post Office named Bella was very rude and unprofessional. She told me even though they can't deliver, they're not going to give me my money back and I can go elsewhere. I am not surprise for a such bad behavior after I read customers reviews. Counter staff refused to help person without a mask !!!! Many places just ignore but this postal employee did her job and spoke up! Signs posted all over that you must wear a mask - good job ! My only issue is that this ignorant man stood in line for about 15 minutes without a mask. Many older people in line so that's a shame. THE WORST SERVICE. Every trip I am forced to come here it's the worst experience. From lost packages to 1 hour wait times. Manager on shift will on satisfy your issues with a sorry and wait for a call. Not to mention the phone number to contact the place doesn't work.
