Everyone upset because she said she'll close the window in 30 min
Roxana D.

there is only one female worker and she is stressed out they need to hire at least two more people I understand if someone is on lunch they have a line going outside it's hot and you can hear the employee's stress/agony in her voice. She was even asked to relax hopefully she gets some vacation time soon.

Staff are rude to say the least, they act like they are busy and they ignore you, always in a bad mood and today in particular the doors are open, it's still not closing time but there's no one helping and they are just sitting in the back

10:10, this place opens at 10 am. A long line of people, and no one is here to help !

It is insanity. The tagging (the bad variety) the absolute lack of any semblance of sanitation and just outright disrespect for themselves and anyone that needs to actually mail a letter or pick up mail from a post box, is just ridiculous. Just nasty and pathetic because nobody on earth should be forced to live this way. With Measure H and many other billions of dollars "invested", DTLA looks like a dumpster infested with STDs on fire. And then they put it out with urine. Welcome to Westlake, where your dreams go to... get infected with preventable diseases? NOPE. NEVER. NOT THIS. Approximately 2 months ago there was a computer glitch that "closed" a bunch of the PO Boxes, allegedly. Then all mail was returned despite never getting a renewal letter and YOU CANNOT renew unless you have it, according to the counter "help". There's one guy here who is seriously one of the worst customer service people ever. He DGAF if he helps you or anyone else and he seemed genuinely angry that I asked him a question. Apparently they are currently fencing in this area. I'm not sure how that will help but I'm sure the fire station across the street doesn't miss this encampment that's been here for the past few years. It's appalling and tragic anyone lives this way in our "first world" country. I've seen cleaner bathrooms in bus stations than this fiasco. RUNNNNNnnnn!

Please support this USPS!!!…read more This USPS is essential to Chinatown and the federal government recently tried to shut it down. They now offered the owner Peter Kwong $100 a year instead of their regular contract. This is likely the only CPU that accepted such a ridiculous offer but Peter wanted to keep it open for the community, especially the elders that need this service. Peter has been operating at a loss for the last 26 year but now he will really be bleeding red. The workers need their job and the community needs this USPS. I know there has been comments about their service but please give grace to the older worker and please support its cause. We are fighting for the community so hope you all can do the same but making this USPS your go to USPS.

Make sure you don't park out front on Hill St during certain times of the afternoon or else your car will get towed! Love this hidden little post office AND they stay open much later than a lot of the other USPS locations in the area! The guy who runs it (I think) is super chill and accommodating. He's the one who warned me not to park on Hill St, and even though it was almost time for him to close, he waited for me to move my car so I wouldn't get a super expensive ticket or get towed. So nice! He even let me use his tape!

Parking: There's no dedicated parking for this UPS Store on…read moreFigueroa. Only metered parking on the street, and it's usually hard to find a spot. We always go as a pair one drives around looking for parking while the other gets down to drop off the package. Wait Time: When I arrived, there were two customers being helped. Surprisingly, there were two employees working (which is rare for such a small store, but maybe because of the holidays). I waited about seven minutes before I was called. After me, about four or five people lined up, so it can get packed quickly. Service: I was just sending out a package related to health insurance. It was super quick. I handed it over, they scanned it, and gave me the receipt sticker. The employee was fine, not rude, but not overly friendly either. Just did the job and said thank you. Store Size & Atmosphere: It's a very small location. A customer was on the side loading a bunch of boxes onto a trolley which made it feel even more crowded. There's also a "For Lease" sign on the side of the building not sure if they're moving or if it's for another unit, but they've been there a long time. Product Quality: I didn't buy anything here, so I can't comment on the store products. Value: I wasn't charged for my shipment (it was covered), so no comment on pricing either. Overall: Quick drop-off, small and busy store, challenging parking, but the wait wasn't bad for me. Good for simple, fast package sending.
