I go to this post office all the time to drop things off and it is, what it is. I've never had issues really...once the drop off box was full, once it was stuck, but my main dread in coming here is the parking. Yep, even the post office has parking problems in KTown! It's a small lot but just gets so darn crowded with cars spilling out, confusion, slowness, etc. I've gone through the lines and never had any staff issues. Overall pretty standard USPS location. Though this is my least favorite post office because of parking, it's so convenient for me so I'll surely be there. read more

Updated review: Been coming for a while to mail stuff, paying for signature mailing (which is what I'm doing now), and shipping e-commerce orders(eBay,Shopify, etc), and paying for money orders. The USPS website say that the self service kiosk is open until 6 on Saturday but that is not accurate. They close at 3pm. This USPS is fine if you can use the self service kiosk. Because this Post Office is located in such a dense area of town, it's nearly impossible to park so be sure to make extra time, or look for street parking and walk in. It's a large space with several tellers so even if the line is long, it moves pretty smoothly. If you placed your mail on hold while you are on vacation, you need to go to the door with a doorbell before 5 PM or else you can't get your mail. Once again, the worst post office I had to experience. The kiosk machines were not working. One was down altogether and the other one was only working partially. The scanning of pre labeled items was not working. So now I had to wait in line to get a receipt. A long line once again. So what does the representative tells me after I said hi" first and asked for a receipt? " I will give you receipt this time but next time use the kiosk". What? no greetings after a customer greets first? Then when I told her that kiosk is down, she glanced at the kiosk and saw a gentleman standing in front of it, she said " it's working fine". I told her I wouldn't have waited in the long line if it was working. I wanted to call the supervisor about her attitude and rudeness but I knew that would have done nothing. I came here to get my passport--they were a wee bit under staffed but as swift as they could be. Free parking lot. Due to staffing shortage--I do recommend you ask all the questioned you need, do not assume anything, & make sure you have all your documents when you come in and when you leave out. Sharing a negative customer experience!!! They have really slow workers! I went there several times, and there were two Korean ladies. What I do is purchase a regular white envelope and ask for postage. She replied, "What is postage?" I DON'T UNDERSTAND YOU! Kept correcting me for pointing at the sample envelope and postage and said it is called "stamp Jesus" and there was a long line as always. I went oh okay, I need two please. Next time, I asked for a stamp on a different window with other Korean ladies. She reacted same and asked loudly, what is STAMP? what do you need? I was just shocked for a few secs and then said postage what u call it then? She said we call it POSTAGE. JESSSS... They are way slower than a sloth. The US Post Office is defrauding shippers, in particular the online sellers. I saw the fraud first hand, of which a claim was filed, and then an appeal of their denial with some of the photos posted here of which the Post Office continue to play dumb. Hence, see the photos that USPS received, of which they replied to me that the actual one pound at the supermarket that became the fraudulent one pound and 10 oz at their post office is "not clear" in my photos. There isn't much mystery as to what follows 0 on a numeric weight scale. Even with proof of such mockery, and what seems to be a mass petty theft the post office continued to deny it when my photos show that the scale at this post office was mismanaged by a supervisor at this location, as each post office is responsible for calibrating the scales properly. This was denied by them, but verified by another post office. Apparently, this is something that has been happening system wide. USPS is aware that that there have been many complaints, including shippers that take their package into the post office, and the item was weighed in front of their eyes, correct payment made, and accepted by their local post office. The fraud occurred to them further down the line, perhaps at the distribution center where suddenly the package was claimed by the post office to be not weighed correctly, and the sender is automatically charged. This is an ongoing problem right now between the "business entity" and the USPS. Even when there is a record of transactions at the business entity, and at the online payment processor, and by the buyer, and by the seller, including photos of how the item was packaged with foam peanuts, boxed, and wrapped, etc, the US post office has been steadfast in lying to and defrauding their customers by overcharging on weight, in addition to unauthorized upgrading of such items that are over the alleged 15.99 oz from 1st Class mail to Priority Shipping accruing an excessive overcharge of $6.42 additional on one such package. In addition, what the other reviews say about this Supervisor Laurie is so true, she has a really foul attitude. Can you believe that this lady had the nerve to tell me that I was limited to 4 packages? I even found that it was necessary to argue with her to "show it to me in the Policy & Procedures manual," because she would just adamantly make up lies to avoid having to process routine post office requests. read more

This is easily the worst post office I have ever been to. Many people hate their jobs especially when its a public service job and I get that, working with customers can be frustrating but this place has some of the rudest staff I have ever seen in my life. Very unwilling to help and quick to turn you away to another post office. Its clear they dont want to do their job and referring to another location is easier. It should honestly be a location that has no customer service reps but rather is self service. Whichever woman security guard that was working on the night of december 22nd 2021, should be fired. Basically attacking customers as they walk in creating a very hostile environment for no reason, locking the doors of the building when people are still inside. This location closes at 5:30 on the DOT! If you are there after the fact be prepared to be locked and herded out one door of their choosing. Final notes: parking is awful. A postal worker who works here named Marshal side swiped my car while driving his USPS vehicle and bent my car door back. He then backed up and fled the scene of the crime driving straight through a stop sign. It was a total hit and run. I got his vehicle number and the supervisor gave me his name. The police told me the post office police themselves, so I reported it, and I'm filing a claim for the damages to my car. But so far nothing has happened. read more

This USPS location is super unprofessional. I was expecting a package however it said insignificant address because I didn't include my apartment number. So I go to the post office to pick up my package instead and I was told but a lady at the blue door that a driver had it on route and that it wouldn't be back till the end of the day. She was incredibly rude and unhelpful she didn't even look it up for me. She told me to come back tomorrow morning to check. Determined to get my package I located the driver that delivers to my apartments. She said it was at the post office because packages without the apartment number don't go out. So I go back to the post office and the first thing the lady says is "your back" instead of saying hello how can I help you. I told her what the driver said and asked for her to look up the tracking number for me and she was upset and said no I need your address. To try to deescalate I say thank you. Thankfully the supervisor came and the lady explained my situation. The supervisor tried to tell me my package was shipped off back to the sender. I complained on why I wasn't allowed a day to come a pick it up myself. So I ask for a tracking number and a receipt. Finally, they both come back with MY PACKAGE!!!! THIS PROVES THAT THE LADY WAS LAZY AND DIDNT WANNA DO HER JOB. SHE TOLD ME TO COME BACK IN THE MORNING ? FOR WHAT ? TO WASIT MORE OF MY TIME. Don't trust what they say, do your own research and work if you want your package. I don't see how they are so un organized. They need more staff and retaining. Unless you get lucky and come at the right time. - Street parking is available and walking distance but be careful where you park as it can be w permit only. This location is one of the good ones relatively. There's generally a line but it moves pretty fast. You can get most stuff done without having to get in line though. There's two self service areas and usually there's plenty of priority mail boxes available. The only issue is parking but I've always been able to get a spot within a few minutes since there's constant flow in and out of the lot.
