On,this day September 14th,2021. I went into this post office trying to get my mail,and the Supervisor was extremely rude,and did not have a care in the world about my situation on how I needed to really get in the post office box that I share with someone else. He basically was only worried about getting paid and not the customer. I explained to them that someone went into my bank account and stole all my money while I was out of town. He just was down right horrible and not caring at all. All I wanted to do is get my mail,and get my money so that I can make a payment,but he was down right nasty about it. He tells me to reroute my mail. I told him that I tried to do that,but they told me that since this is the address I used thats where my mail will be sent too. All I am trying to do is get my mail so I can pay my bills,but I can't do that unless I get my mail. So this is the worst and most horrible customer service I have received from someone of my same color. I bet if I was any other Color he would have probably had a change of heart. This supervisor is very very awful,and very disgusted with the way he treated me today. Bunch of bratty people here complaining about nothing. This post office is great, I'm here every week sending out stuff for work and it's always fast and they always have PLENTY of parking. The wait in line is never more than 2 or 3 people in front of me (which I really appreciate). It's also right next to the 405, perfect logistics. I'm not expecting gold plated toilet seats from a post office, but if they can service me quick and I don't run into any monkeys getting in the way then that's about as much as I can ask for from a USPS facility next to Inglewood. Haven't physically been to this location yet. But I've had a few problems with mail ever since moving to the area in May. First--someone at this office made the decision to return my brand new driver's license back to sender instead of attempting to deliver it to my apartment after my name had already been attached to my new address for weeks. Because of this, I was without a valid license for about 6 months trying to get a new one sent to me. I filled out a service request online for my lost license (which they're supposed to respond to within a day). I didn't get a response until at least a month later saying they couldn't find this piece of mail. DUH! By then I had already fixed the 6-month problem myself! And second, just this week I've tried for 3 days to mail out a simple letter by putting it on the outgoing mail hooks on my mailbox. HORRIBLE service. I know USPS isn't known for their customer service and they are often understaffed and overworked (not their fault), but that doesn't excuse the disrespectful behavior. They lost my package, a one of a kind vintage game that was over 40 years old. I scheduled to have it re-delivered and it never showed up. Again it's missing. Annoying but no biggie. I called to make sure it's there before taking of work to retrieve it hoping it was at the post office since I don't have it and it hasn't been returned. The employee helping me was rude, unprofessional and literally hung up on me because I asked him to read back the tracking number I gave him after he insisted it was invalid (it was not). Mistakes happen and i'm cool with that, but he didn't have to be a complete jerk to me when it's their mistake to begin with. He was rude the entire time, keep putting me on hold, telling me I was wrong, telling me there are lots of packages there and maybe it's there... then the hang up. They dont answer phones, the mail carriers are lazy and do not redeliver packages EVEN IF you have scheduled a redelivery. I have been trying to track down my package which was supposed to be delivered 3 days ago and when i finally got through on the phone they told me the mail carrier kept forgetting to take it and redliever....it has now been 4 days still no package. The US cant run any type of institution including a post office....privatize all postal services...I dont care if it costs me more, at lease i would actually get my f***ing mail. read more

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Beware they throw your packages into the bins, can't even pretend they care for your business. The manager is just as rude as the employees. Seriously bad service and attitude. Well, it maybe her personality because she seems to quite consistently show no eye contacts and rude attitudes to all customers. She didn't even find out where I was trying to send my package to and once she saw me having no labels on the box, she sent me away to get label with an disrespectful tone and look. I mean I don't have labels because I don't know what was supposed to be filled out for international mailing and I was going ask. She just sent me away, just like that. And once I filled that out and went back to her, she looked at my mailing label and asked if the recipient's address is a country, told her yes and then she gave me another form to fill out. I mean, if you can take time and find out in a nice manner, wouldn't it be better for everyone? It's always this clerk that makes me feel uncomfortable. But this time it's way too much. Another awful review for these people. My package was returned for no reason, the address was correct, they even admitted it but they refused to resend my package for free, they wanted to charge full price again!!! I have never had a problem in the branch...they have always been great...Long line because government funding sucks and they can't afford any more people. Now when it comes to mail delivery this place is horrible. I revive payment from an insurance company every other week. Since April when they first started arriving until now (4 months later) 3 check have gone missing that take almost another 3 weeks to be canceled out and re sent. At least once a week no one on our block gets mail. I get neighbors mail constantly and they have started to deliver between 6 and 7 pm. I understand that carriers are pulling double shifts and unfortunately our block is one that constantly has a back up running the rout. So we have a carrier for 3 days to a week then we have no one for a day then someone different. I feel bad for the carriers because of all the problems from up top. read more

I frequent this post office regularly and I can only recall one instance when I experienced bad customer service, which was actually from the supervisor, when I asked for a refund on my express mail purchase (hmmm, I haven't seen that one in a while ;). Thus My only complaint with this location is the overnight express mail service. The last three letters sent by express mail, on various occasions, did not arrive next day. I was then told that in order to receive a refund, the tracking has to show that an attempt was made to deliver the mail, even if its been 4 days since the next day guarantee has passed! I went in to this post office to mail about 20 different packages of things that I sold online and the girl that scanned them all in for me was so sweet. I was expecting some attitude since I had so many things but even if she was annoyed she didn't show it at all. The post office itself was very clean and organized. read more

Can't trust this post office to deliver mail, especially if there is a check inside. 4 pieces of mail since January 2014 with checks in them never delivered. All mailed from this facility. When I mail from other facilities like Santa Monica or Temple City, mail gets through. Not from this place. Not delivered: 1 Est TAX to IRS. paid penalty on late tax and sent another Est. Tax from this facility but paid $6 for return receipt to make sure it got there. Not delivered: Rent check . Didn't know my Landlord didn't get the rent until I came home and found a 3 day quit notice on my front door for failure to pay rent. Wrote out check and hand delivered it to management co. Not delivered : Birthday Card for great niece with $100 check in it. Sent another card 2 weeks later (this time a $6 card) with another $100 check in it. Almost 2 months later, it too, never delivered. Checks were never cashed as far as this writing. Will take a card personally to great niece with the money at 40 miles one way to do what the USPS at La Tijera obviously can't do. Reported incidences to Postal inspector. 4 E-mails as per their online complaint form over the last month.. NO RESPONSE. NADA ZIP NOTHING. No return messages, No CALLS, no e-mails. IGNORED! Afraid to mail things anymore in my area as it is handled by La Tijera USPS. Really makes life hard to have to drive to a different location to mail something instead of using the box around the corner or go to the Post Office. My guess on the birthday cards? Someone is opening the cards to see if there is CASH inside and when there is not, trashing the card. Would explain why checks not cashed as they probably don't want to forge checks but just collect cash. What, you don't think these workers sometimes steal?? read more

!!!!! BEWARE ABSOLUTELY DO NOT DROP LETTERS IN THE THREE OUTSIDE BOXES at the 90045 La Tiejera station. I've have checks STOLEN three different times over a one year peroid. At first I thought it was a freak accident, HiLL NO, each time as quickly as a day later counterfit checks and ACH payments started processing through my bank using my account number. Never again La Tijera station will I give you the opportunity to handle my out going mail. GET IT TOGETHER PEOPLE, STOP THE THEFT!!!! Everyone working inside knows it is happening, its not there fault, right? They are waiting for the theft department to take care of the problem, how stupid can that be? I've had to go here on several occasions to pick up packages. Those experiences have been satisfactory. I'm basing this review on one recent visit. I had a vacation hold on my mail and clearly set it up to pick up my mail at the post office. When I talked to the employee there, she asked why I was there and told her I was picking up my mail hold. She said oh they should have just delivered it all to your house. I said no, i specifically set it up to pick up at post office. She asked my address and she went in the back and said no it'll be delivered to your house. So I went home and waited for my mail to be delivered for 2 days. Nothing. So I went back to the post office and told them it never came, she went back and checked and said it should be there tomorrow. So I asked well is it back there now, can't you just give it to me? She said no it'll be there tomorrow. So I went back home and the next day it arrived. This seems really fishy to me. I called the 1-800 post office phone number to complain and she said that my mail was most likely at the post office on a hold but the woman helping me probably didn't locate it but when she did she had the post man deliver it. What a waste of my time. I wish there was a way I didn't have to work with this post office again but really don't have a choice since it's by location and where you live. read more

Wow. Surprised at the reviews. Post office was clean. Workers were pleasant. In and out in 5 minutes.

The two women I interacted with just now were very nice. One lady was in the lobby asking each person in line what they needed, so they would have answers while they wait plus allow transactions to go quicker once at the counter. She was able to answer my questions and was very helpful and polite. The woman at the counter was quick and polite too. Very good PO experience! Thank you! read more

I pull up at 8:15am and see the sign on the door says they open at 8:30. So I wait in my car until 8:30 all to get in the door and see that the second door that actually lets you in now says they open at 9am. Now I'm wasting 45 mins of my weekday morning before work on this place that can't seem to stick with the hours nor change the signs. If I had a choice and didn't have to ship this package via US Post office I WOULD NOT BE HERE ! Need more staff than 1 or 2 people working at a time for how busy the place is all the time. Needs to be faster service always a long line and they are very slow pace moving through people in the long long line which is the real issue here. service could be better I mean its all about customer service. read more

Fast, friendly, efficient. One of my favorite LA post offices. However, it could use a good scrubbing, and brighter paint.
