I very rarely come to this USPS location and not because it is somewhat hidden but jist because I always forgot its there. Luckily, when I went it was not busy at all which was great but they were very slow with the two workers that were there. There was also a funky smell in this location. Where the rope is, it was a bit confusing where the line started. I will stick to going to the other USPS location in this area.

U.S. Post Office woohoo! This is my Yorkville Branch. It's like family. You never know when the employee will be crabby or not. Once I was hollered at for taking photos. Don't dare ask for a piece of tape for your package. Hey, sounds like family. I've been coming here and none other since I stopped working. I know what day and time of day is best. I'm absolutely prepared when I get to the cashier so I have as little problems as possible. I certainly can't go without this post office location. I'd have to walk over half a mile and I'm not a fan of that branch. My advice is plan ahead. I feel for anyone going there right now. I'm sure the employees are stressed to the limit!

Going to this post office for years. Not the friendliest staff there, and get there early or lines are crazy at times. And what happened to the stamp machines? I just want to buy two fricken stamps - WTF! Kind of a sterile and drab looking place, but it serves it's purpose. No wonder you hear about so many employees "going postal' .

Slow,, slow service. Only one person before lunch and a long line and o one in the back cares. No wonder the Post Office loses money.

Although I live across the street I always go to the post office on 85th street because the people here are the rudest I've ever met.

Ms Ferrante also took really good care of me and gave me a piece of paper when I realized I had left my notepad at home.

I have been to numerous post offices all around the state and other states, and this one have made…read moreit on the crap list. Hell, most of them have... Anyways... I live in a residence with a security guard who checks in the package. What I don't understand is why my package says "Delivery Attempted" (Monday) on the website. I haven't even received a slip for my package so I can pick it up. The next day (Tuesday) I went online and scheduled a redelivery. The next day (Wednesday) it says "Delivery Attempted" on the website again, but the time stamp says 11:30 pm. Now, I have received a message from Amazon stating that there was a delay. So I decide to go to the post office because I needed my textbook and I was getting tired of the delays. (Thursday) I walk into the post office and it's complete pandemonium. Trash was on the floor; there were three different lines with only one of the lines labeled. So I had no idea where to start. I wait in line for 20 minutes, and a worker comes around and announces that I must have a slip. I try to explain my situation to why I don't have a slip, and she proceeded to tell me that I needed to go to the machine and print out a receipt. The machine doesn't have any directions on how I can obtain a receipt so I call the worker back, and she walked me through the process. I was lucky that no one got on the line, so I got the same spot that I was in. I stayed in line an extra 30 minutes while another customer yells at the worker for the post office for losing his package. Finally, it was my turn. When I got to the window I saw other's personal information (name, address, phone #), packages, and mail scattered on the desk and back table. I was utterly appalled! That stuff is supposed to be confidential! The lady searched for my package for a full fifteen minutes and then blamed me when she couldn't find it. Her words were, "You should have told me the full story about your package". When I first walked to the window, I told her that I hadn't received my package and I scheduled a redelivery. I mean shouldn't it also be in the system? At this point, I was pissed and trying to bite my tongue. She eventually came back and said that my package couldn't be found. She gave me the number to file a claim.

I arrived at 11am & they only had 1 window open & a line stretched to the door, at approx 11:30am…read morethey opened up 2 more windows. I was called to window #3, the customer service was horrible, & omg there were ants crawling on the counter, I mentioned it to the clerk but she didn't even respond, I asked for African American stamps which this Harlem PO didn't have, smh. I slipped through the window ($50 bill) & she said since I was her 2nd customer she didn't have change. I ended up getting "A day at the beach". Stamps cost $15.60. In my opinion to make this a better experience there could be during the morning more available clerks, cleanliness & choices of stamps. I would not recommend this Post Office.

This place should be shut down…read more To even give them a 1 Star is simply a waste of your time and energy however on the positive side I will give my local mail lady the stars she deserves - she's the best but this review isn't a reflection of her hard work it's simply for the facility itself. This is by far the most disgusting, unprofessional probably most uneducated group of individuals that collectively work under one roof. The line no matter what time of year, how many people are actually in line or under any circumstances you will wait at least 30-40m. Even if there's 2 ppl ahead of you. The employees are by far the laziest people you can encounter at a government run facility. Just today we had one of their truck delivery woman by the name of ATKINSONS legit steal a fellow neighbors key infront of everyone and denied it. From what we all saw the keys were in the door and our neighbor was just 5feet from the door where we were all standing once she left the keys were missing. When she was approached she flat out lied and denied it claiming someone let her in. There was NO ONE THERE WE WERE THE ONLY ONES STANDING THERE THE ENTIRE TIME AND NONE OF US LET HER IN. The best part is the keys were there when she approached the door and were missing once she left The post office was notified and we asked her to be removed from the route yet they said she did nothing wrong. Sounds like a bunch of scam artists if u ask me. Stay away from this place
