Terrible. Missed a delivery that required a signature. Problem #1: Carrier did not leave the slip for the missed delivery. Problem #2: scheduled redelivery for which I received a confirmation and stayed home all day, but package was not delivered as scheduled. Problem #3: attempted to call directly 4 times now with no luck. No voice-mail or recorded message just rings and rings. Tax dollars hard at work as usual. read more

Avoid this location at all costs! And if you must come here, then especially avoid the rudest employee there named Jerry! I came here today, stood in line. When I got up to a clerk, her name was Mary, she helped me get a smaller priority box and told me to fill everything out and come back to her when finished. She clearly said, you do not need to get back in line, just come back to me. So I did as instructed, but took a little long because none of the pens worked so I had to run out to my car and find a pen. I came back in and stood at a writing station near the entrance to fill it all out. When done I went back to Mary's desk to complete my transaction but she was with a customer so I stood a little back to allow her to finish. While waiting, I noticed the idiot by the name of Jerry calling over the next person in line to Mary's station, while I was waiting there. I was thinking well why is he calling them over if he sees me standing here. So the next person in line comes up to Mary and she begins to help him, without even acknowledging me. I see the man has a crate full of mail and this is taking so long, so my husband gets back in line and in the meanwhile I confront Jerry, and I tell him, you called that man over when you saw me standing here...and he said, in the rudest tone and most smart allic way, he was next in line and the line is over there!! I said, I know where the line is, I have already stood in line, and before I could finish explaining, Jerry cuts me off and says, No you weren't!! He says, I saw you and you were not in line and I am not going to sit here and argue with you!! And walks away! He LITERALLY called me a liar and said that I never was in line! How dare he?!? He will not argue with me because he will lose. He can easily go back and check the tapes and see that I was already in line and was told to come back here with the box. He did not see me the first time because he was not there. He was in the back somewhere and came out after I had been helped. He would not listen to a single word I was saying, mind you, I was not yelling or being rude I was just trying to explain why I was standing there but he kept saying I'm not gonna argue with you!!! He spoke to me like a child, like I was below him and he was right! Well he was WRONG! We ended up waiting in line again and finished our transaction. I then asked for the manager and told him EVERYTHING in front of Jerry!!! The manager was very polite and apologized several times and agreed with us. I was grateful for the managers response but I really hope there were repercussions for Jerry! I cannot forgive him for calling me a liar. And Mary too for not standing up for me and telling him she had just helped me. She should have spoken up for us. I went in on my lunch yesterday (11:30AM) to ensure that my care package to an American Soldier on deployment would be handled with care and in a timely fashion. The man behind the counter actually taped the label onto the package himself while I stood there and watched. He then assured me that my package was good to go and that it would be shipped out ASAP. Now, more than 24 hours later, my package hasn't even been shipped. They have no record of my package even being there. I have walked in and found the massive long lines moved fairly quickly, most clerks were courteous & helpful, stood in the Passport line for several minutes before the clerk behind the counter finally acknowledged me, called to ask a few questions about mail I was receiving that was not mine and mail that I should have been receiving, but was not. The phone rang so many times that I called the Alta Loma Post Office Branch hoping to get some answers, unfortunately they admitted they could not help me because I was not located in their specific area but they have in the past also called the USPS Rancho Cucamonga branch's phone number and did not get an answer. "They don't answer their phone." the Alta Loma Clerk told me in an empathetic, apologetic, and concerned voice. I needed an answer as to my questions, so I called the Rancho Cucamonga USPS again and do you believe it? A female answered after only ten minutes of ringing. The phone hangs up automatically making a -beep -beep -beep beep sound after about a hundred rings or fifteen minutes. I'm estimating because during this time I have tried to find a Head Quarters US Postal Service phone number I could file a complaint to about this lack of service my tax payer money pays for , but found yelp instead. I have NEVER wrote a review before so I had to remember the email I used years ago I created my yelp account with in order to write this review revealing the most RUDE, FULL OF ATTITUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL, RUSHING ME BY NOT ALLOWING ME TO FINISH MY QUESTIONS, ANNOYED BY ME FOR HAVING QUESTIONS WHEN THIS IS HER JOB, lack of courteousness, lack of patience, miserable PERSON. I happened to be back home visiting my family in rancho and needed to ship out some items asap. Now 2 days later, I'm wondering why my packages have not been scanned by USPS. I've NEVER NEVER EVER had any issues with the USPS in Vegas, even when I drop them off at Albertsons they get scanned that same day. This delay of shipment is hurting me and my customers. Really disappointed with the service I received today. Two hours of my time 930-1130 wasted all because the postal worker behind the counter didn't feel like completing additional paperwork. Went in to purchase $3500 in money orders. If you purchase over $2000 additional paperwork is needed. Postal worker suggested that we avoid the paperwork after purchasing $2000 and that I return to the line and get my remaining $1350 from the next postal worker. Because today is Saturday lines are super long. After 20 minutes of waiting again, same postal worker says, enough time has passed, Let's try to see it works. Turns out because of the two transactions, my bank declined in fear of fraudulent behavior. Another wait at the bank, wait at another location and return to the post office= 2hrs later. Francine or Francis (whatever her name was) is a horrible supervisor. In the short time that I had to deal with her, she was very rude not only to me but to her employees as well. She didn't know anything about shipping first class and did the least she could possibly do to assist me...After waiting for about 10-15 min for her to leave the back area to assist she had the nerves to roll her eyes when she had seen me, while I was speaking with her regarding my package she often interrupted me to scold her employees (while they were in front of customers too!). Plus she never allowed me to fully ask my question before she told me that there was nothing she could do for me and walked away with an attitude. In spite of the fact that this place can have some pretty hellish lines, the clerks are able to process people pretty quickly. So I can save a trip coming back to this post office only to find out that my package was there all this time. But since the worker didn't check properly on Monday when I went back today my package was already shipped back to sender. I just missed it by an hour.
