I recently moved to Rancho Cucamonga in September of 2020. Upon moving in no mail of mine was being delivered due to "vacant" but my brothers and the previous renters mail would still get delivered. Once I fixed that everything seemed fine other than some mix up mail but recently this past week or so I've had packages being marked as "delivered on porch" or "in/at mailbox" and never recieved them. I've even checked my ring doorbell camera and the mail lady never even stepped foot off her truck!!! I've never dealt with a worse post office. I just don't understand how they can even mark something delivered when they never delivered it. Super annoying. read more

Definitely needs better customer service. Myself and my wife took a day off to get my kids passport application done. We had confirmed appointment for December 28 Tuesday. Someone called early morning to inform that the passport office is closed. Why would you give appointments for those days??? Just seconds ago sending a care package with candy to our son and his dept who serve in the NAVY... The package came out to $49.00 and my husband asked don't you good folks have a flat rate for boxes??? In a sarcastic tone yea we do there over but its too late...I rang you up my husband had not even paid yet... The man was at the last booth to your right... Brown skin short hair... He could have told us... Shame in him!!! Follow up 5 min after posting this... I called the post office and spoke with Sergio... The parking lot was full and I was fearing having to walk in and get in line. Once inside I noticed a lot of people at different stations. I waited in line for one minute before an employee came up to me and asked if I had a drop and needed a receipt. Yes! He took me out of line and over to the end of the counter where he grabbed a small scanner and printed a receipt. Bam in n out in three minutes! This review is strictly about the passport services. You make an appointment online and wait to be called at the benches in the left side of the building. The representative Stacy is very nice and personable and willing to answer all your questions. I brought in all my required documents and it was a quick in and out appointment. It started a bit behind schedule but didn't take more than 10 minutes. read more

This place is a joke man every time I've gone they've been super under staffed or it appears to be. People try to complain to someone and staff says to leave their number and they'll call later(doubt anyone gets called). The staff that is there isn't really helpful at all. They have one to maybe two people in the front each time I've gone but then I can hear people laughing in the back having a good time while people in the front barely manage to "get by". They told me I have the wrong packaging for my items I have been mailing out for the past 2 years through poshmark. They are trying to make me pay 30 dollars for red packaging even though they gave me the blue packaging envelopes and boxes. They didn't specify which ones to use, and tried charging me for something that already gave me a prepaid shipping label. I have had no trouble at any other post office except this one. So I live in the Brighton two at Terra Vista @ Millikan @ Church. Our Mail Lady / Person has done this toooo many times. She puts our mail into a different Box. I've addressed this problem before. Talked to the Postal Worker Christine.. telling her that a letter that I mailed from her facility did not make it to where it was supposed to go.. Christine went the extra mile and gathered some information from me.. She was able to track down my letter that was never picked up from the Management Company on 9/3/19. The property manager told me because they have not received the rent check that they were going to give me a three day pay or quit notice and have to pay a late fee..they asked me to cancel the check which cost me $32.00.. The main post office in Rancho Cucamonga is rather large. It's open later hours on Saturday, which is a plus. Recently I had to mail something to my brother up in San Francisco. I had originally gone to a smaller location but it turns out that one was closed. I headed to this one on Arrow and sure enough, it was open. They had plenty of USPS Priority Mail envelopes and I was able to print out postage from the kiosk. There were people in line to speak with the associates at the counter but I didn't need any of that. What I needed was a flat rate envelope and postage which is what I was able to acquire just at the kiosk and adjacent tables. I like that they have these items out for people since I'm sure they get asked quite often. The place is well organized and thankfully air-conditioned. Parking is easy too. read more

Frustrated enough to actually write a review! Live in Rancho Cucamonga by Day Creek BLVD and Victoria Park LN. Today our mail delivery person decided to push our neighbors green waste bin into our trash bin (with his/her vehicle) leaving them in the middle of our driveway with the trash tilted on its side almost tipping it over. Packages received are not handled gently and commonly thrown by the front door. If I was to come to the post office and conduct similar activity you would probably call the cops on me. get your shit together. read more

Went in for a passport. Read the signs followed directions. The door was locked so we went to ask for help instead of standing in front of a locked door. I asked a worker for help and she was extremely read and responded with the sign says to go down the hall. She didn't give me an opportunity to explain what happened instead she insinuated that I didn't read directions. She then said idk what Stacy puts on her door. After getting no where with this worker with purple hair, I believe her name was Robin. We walked back and luckily Stacy opened the door and let us in. Stacy explained that she sometimes helps the post office when it's slow that's why she wasn't in her office. (For reference the passport office is in the post office) I'm only giving it 3 stars because Stacy was extremely helpful and amazing! We were in and out thanks to her and she was really nice and respectful throughout the entire process. Please coach your employees to treat customers with respect. There are some good friendly people working here, but some miserable ones too. I asked "why is the price different from the flat rate shown on the sign?" and couldn't get an honest answer; "the system determines the price," "it's based on weight," "depends on zip code," "I'm just a cog in the wheel man," "no, the sign is not misleading," and "you can wait over there if you want to speak with the supervisor who isn't here now." Monica, the supervisor, is devoid of human traits. I tried to make Monica relax or smile but she wasn't having it. Monica put 10x the energy into making excuses, acting unnecessarily defensive, and withholding helpful info than what was necessary to try and answer a simple question - even if her honest answer was "none of us know, they don't train us well enough" I would have been slightly satisfied. I've had my ups and downs with this office, though most of the time they are great. If you're a small business, preprint & buy your postage online. Then you go in, self scan at the kiosks, and drop it off in the bins inside. Easy, quick (most of the time, Beware Saturdays!), and keeps down the lines. Don't waste your time going here if your looking to drop off and ship a package. You know the normal stuff you do at a post office. I am a small business owner and I was just told we are no longer allowed to drop packages off at this location. Mind you I've been coming here for years. Older white lady probably in 60s is very rude, every time i have came here. If you are that miserable and hate your job? Why even work there? Some people really need to work on their people skills. The 5 Star rating is for either the New Lights in the parking lot or replaced bulbs. What a difference it makes. I sometimes come to pick up my mail after 5pm and in the Winter Time it's already dark. The lighting before was very low at best. It was pretty scary to come here after sunset. I don't know what is going on with the USPS. I get notifications of all mail daily through their App. Each day is a different mailman delivering. With that comes missing mail. Attitude and burnt out federal employees at the counter. Not just at the Rancho Cucamonga office but throughout the Inland Empire. One employee waiting on a line of 10-15 people. My feeling is the USPS is trying to compete with Amazon,UPS and FedEx and don't care if expensive items come up missing. The automated system when there is an issue is a joke with no options for resolution. PAPERLESS is the answer and bypassing the USPS as much as possible. read more

It is not lost on me that complaining that the Post Office doesn't do their job is not news to anyone. Nevertheless, I have no choice but to use the Post Office as a requirement for parts of my job. It is so far beyond ridiculous that the local Post Office cannot schedule a person to walk outside and clear the drive-through boxes at 4:00 so that the rush to get mail to their boxes by 5:00 p.m. doesn't result in overfull boxes. When I filed a complaint, the response was that I can always go into the Post Office and use their inside mail slot. It would have been less offensive for them to just not reply to my complaint! The Postal workers are on-site here well past 5:00 p.m., and I won't waste time here pointing out how outrageous it is that they choose not to make final pickup at 6:00 or later. Oh! And don't bother trying to complain to the Postmaster. S/he will just avoid you, never return your calls, and never come to the desk to address concerns. I have had mail sent certified return receipt that got lost (it is tracked by USPS), and sent a replacement two weeks later that was delivered the first letter. I went to the post office and they mentioned that it will be delivered. There is no delivery. I have to check again In Person today. There is a disconnect in this branch. I have had nothing but bad experiences with this post office. I am constantly getting my packages delivered to the wrong address or lost. Every time I file a claim they don't seem to know what's going on. They try to transfer you to a supervisor who is just as clueless as them. Parking was ok sometimes it can get difficult to get out seeing how it's on a corner of a busy street. Inside it's very small. But the line moves quickly once your inside. I had help getting my passport which was easy since I had my info and paper work with picture ready before hand. read more

Spoke with Monica Gonzales to file a complaint about our mail carrier who is intentionally withholding our packages and she talked over me several times and disregarded my complaint. Not only is our mail lady holding our mail, but she even delivered it to someone who the package wasn't even addressed too! I asked to get assistance on a packaged that was returned to me. I got the run around when I first was directed to contact this location to speak to the manager. After waiting for an hour and a half which is what I was told to do, come to find out the lady I was to speak with went home already. After my frustration of being patient to talk to someone, the person in charge or whoever this guy was dismissed me completely and told me there was no refund without even explaining to me the reason.
