I did not know there is a United Post Office near Meadowview and it was really convenient after Being in the area doing some errands. The parking is really spicy and it has a one-way in and a one-way out which was pretty creative. When I went inside there is a long line but it went by quick. Also I find that it was really clean inside and it was organized. There were a lot of postings where you drop off the mail so it is very informative on the collection time and what they accept and what they don't accept. Also the people were friendly and quick on their feet and the service was consistent. I would be back if I am in the area so I don't need to go back to my neighborhood and feel rush and drive all around the place. The united post office for my home is in Southland Park that one close one hour early versus this one close one hour later. I hope this helps and thanks for reading and have a yelp-tastic day. The Brookfield Drive U S Post Office (USPO) has super fast shipping when using the self service kiosk. I always ship using a USPO flat rate box, which are located in the lobby of the post office on the shipping supplies display. For convenience USPO first class and flat rate boxes are free to take home for packing. Here's the chisme: you'll need access to a computer and printer to print a pre paid click-n-ship USPO label. If you don't have a printer go to the public library. The librarian can help you with printing from an app on your device or from their computers. should you decide to download the US PO app on your device you can print directly from there to the printer for a nominal fee I believe the first five pages of B&W printing are free and $.15 per page thereafter. It is well worth the time and effort to pack your flat rate box using your own strapping tape to tape it closed and be sure to tape your label on the side that says "place label here." Went out the post office walk right through the lobby in this post office the kiosk is near the mail drop slot inside. You will not have to wait in any lines just scan the barcode and follow through by reading the directions on the monitor screen and dropping and then drop your package in the package drop tumbler drum around the corner to the left of the kiosk. read more

Incompetent mail person. I'm in the deer Creek area and the mail person dropped off my ONE (1) piece of mail at my next door neighbors who opened it by "accident" and saw something they shouldn't have. I was waiting for it for weeks. Seriously irritated and I don't even know the neighbors. HOW DO YOU MESS UP THE ADDRESSES WHEN MY NAME WAS CLEARLY MARKED ON THE ENVELOPE AND IT WAS BROAD DAYLIGHT! This post office has gone to hell! I hade a vacation hold for a month and went to retrive my mail, the woman said I didn't have any! I explained that I better because have the month hold. I asked for a suppervisor, she closed the door and was gone for quite awhile. She finally came back, without a sup, and said she had to call the carrier because the mail was not where it was supposed to be. I advised that this carrier needs more training as I am getting others mail and others are getting my mail since she started this route. And true to form, I found others mail in my held mail. I just need to make the US post in Sacramento (specifically the strawberry manor area) aware of some thefts in our neighborhood. We have PO box style mailboxes for our street and twice this week it has been found pried open and empty of all resident mail, save some coupon fliers. I actually had a great experience at this post office today. All 3-4 clerks were super friendly, helpful and patient. Saw 1st clerk: I had to add addresses on the boxes so I stepped aside. I wanted to make sure my boxes were acceptable first. 2nd clerk: He recommended getting their boxes because it would save me $$$ 3rd clerk: Rang me up and was super patient 4th clerk: Super helpful to all her customers and didn't mind that I was repackaging my boxes next to her station. They tried to make the long line go as quickly as possible. I came in with my own boxes but one clerk recommended getting their medium priority box instead because it would save me a couple bucks for two of my items. I walked in Thursday afternoon around 2:30pm to drop off a letter I wanted delivered. There was one employee that I could see working the front. I waiting patiently in line for my turn. When I was the next one in line the post office employee Jay called over two gentleman to come up to the counter. Even though it appeared I was next I let it go. After he was done assisting the two gentleman I naturally assumed I was next. As I started to walk up he AGAIN let someone cut. At this pointe I lost my cool and called him out and asked why he was letting people cut. When I walked up to the counter his response was had I been paying attention I would of realized they were already in line. After I a few exchange of words from both myself and Jay I asked for a manager. He told me I could find someone at the kiosk areas. No manager was there. When I walked back in and again asked for a manager. Jay refused to call a supervisor and said if I wanted to talk to one I could wait. I attempted to call and speak to manager however the calls eventually disconnects after ringing. I took a picture of him just so the US post office can see who it is and take appropriate action. I am going to Hong Kong and forgot a very important document, so my family ordered a priority mail on that is said would be able to deliver to me in 3-5 days. But as I checked the progress in their website, it fking took them 5 days just to get my stuff on a plane, and 2 days later it is showing the package is at Beijing??? It has been more than 8 days since we made the order and we still haven't received the package yet. Be advised, don't use usps international priority, it is just not worth the price. And if you need it in a hurry, pick other mailing company instead. I like the post office the folks here are very friendly and treat you with respect and speak as they're educated, but when it comes to United States Territory they need a little more education, as I sent a parcel to Puerto Rico the lady wanted me to fill out a customs form. I had to tell her Puerto Rico is a United States Territory and I never fill out such form in the past and wanted to know if this was something new, she needed to go ask because she didn't know. Horrible service.....every single time. Unfortunately this is the closest post office by my house so I have no choice but to come here. There is always long lines that go out the door into the lobby/entrance area. The service is slow and poor. Even with long lines there is always only one clerk, sometimes 2 helping and they are always slow as if it's their first day at work. I find it strange that the two Asian ladies working here always charge me a lot for mailing out the greeting cards. They always charge me $2.54 when the post office on Laguna charge me just $0.54. Mail carrier is always misplacing mail. I get informed delivery service emails when I'm going to get mail for the day. Some of the mail never shows up and so I wait and wait. Usually it's junk mail so it's not terrible; The most recent thing was a passport which is an official government document and the post office reported it as delivered in the box. We got nothing in the box. The neighbor said they got it and gave it back to the mail carrier. The mail carrier did not record receiving the returned package...and the place that sent the passport did not receive the returned package. Also, while I was there the second time, I overheard another party had reported that a box was supposed to be delivered but nothing was delivered. The post office clerk said nobody came to pick it up so they returned it to the sender. This was supposed to be delivered to the home of the other party but it was returned to the sender instead. US Postal Service has come downhill like an avalanche in recent times. more than 9 days later the supervisor sent the carrier to my apartment to search all of the mailboxes for the missing passport that came in a priority mail envelope...one of those big cardboard ones. I had already told the supervisor about the neighbor saying they had given the package back to the postal carrier. This a fairly small USPS. The entrance is one way but you can enter both sides (Franklin and Brookfield). It's a small parking lot but there's always parking when I go. If you're just dropping off packages with prepaid postage then you can leave it at the counter in the far right when you walk in. Make sure you go during store hours because there is no other drop off for packages. Only small packages will fit through the collection boxes outside. This is a pretty typical post office that offers all the modern conveniences of getting your mail and packages to where they need to go. Vending machines are available to purchase stamps, mailing slots to drop off your letters and boxes; a section is set aside to buy your mailing items in various sizes, etc. and of course, the main area where postal workers help customers with all their mailing needs. I have always found them to be friendly and efficient at keeping the long lines moving. This post office is often quite busy and parking is the worst during the holidays. It can get very frustrating to pull into the narrow one way drive through parking lot, find absolutely no spaces, to which you have no choice but drive back out onto the street where you end up circling around trying to chance it once more for a lucky parking space. For over 20 years I once lived in one of the worst neighborhoods of Sacramento just behind this building. This post office has been here for many years. I've been coming here for about 29 years. And whats so funny is they have not changed at all over all these years. At one point I thought they were going to close, because they had removed the stamp machine out of the lobby area. It had so many problems. I liked that machine, because it gave out the gold dollar coins for change. Lol, I know right! Just me. Anyways most of the staff that works at the front counter have been here for an extremely long time. They can be nice and they can give attitude too. It just depends on the day. They are knowledgeable when it comes to knowing their job. This is a real busy post office, but it seems like they always have one person working the counter at the wrong time. So sometimes the wait can be relentless! And I don't think its in the best location! But it has been here for all these years. What do I know! It's a small office, but its always clean. Its somewhat plain (boring) to the eye, not much in the way of decorations. The parking lot is not so big, but because people are in and out its fair to say its not difficult to get parking. They made the change a long time ago, but there's only one way in and one way out. I like this post office. I just hate that I'm not close by, but I'm not close to either post office. So if I must take my pick I don't mind coming here. Kinda like coming home, so to speak. I had a P.O Box here once and that was smooth as far as opening and closing without any issues. I never thought I'd write a review about a post office but this is kind of the last straw. For starters, they have NEVER gotten out of their truck and knocked on my door. Apparently they'd rather take the extra time to write up a pink slip instead. What makes it worse is that when I do have time to actually head up to the post office, there's only ever one person working while the place is full. I can understand if maybe someone called in or they just got busy while another employee was on break, but this is almost every single time. The icing on the cake, however, is that I called MULTIPLE times today to find out what happened to a package that was sent to me. Not a single person answered the phone. I didn't think I would ever have to write a review but here goes. First I tried calling. No one picks up. The phone rang for days. Second, the mail man was so incompetent, he put the parcel key in someone else's mailbox. Whoever had the key opened one of my three packages and took some items out then taped it back up and put it back into the parcel box. When I went to check mail, I had only one letter. Out of curiosity I looked in the parcel box. Key was on the keyhole and it was wide open. Lo and behold all the packages were addressed to me!!!! I am FURIOUS. I grew up from grade school around this postal area and I am now a college grad. Back in the days in the 1990s and early 2000 , it was not as bad here; however, it seems like as the facility ages, the individuals that are employed there seem to be so moody, rude & unprofessional. Since I moved out of the area for about 5 years now , I finally had the opportunity to pay a visit to this location to pick up a package for my mother, whom still resides in the area. I left work a little early, drove all the way from Folsom after work to be at the post office to pick up a package before they close at 5pm. Mind you , on Florin Road at around 4ish PM is rush hour esp on a Friday. I was stuck at the red light for about 15 mins after consecutive green lights I finally had my turn. When I pulled in the parking lot it was 4:59 PM (swear) I ran down immediately to get to the door and at exactly 5pm on the DOT, this overweight chubby woman, I believe she is Filipino with boy cut short black hair locked the door right in my face. LIKE , right in MY face. I politely knocked on the door and she did not look at me while she yelled ' WE ARE CLOSED!!!!' - her head up high as she yelled. I wanted to drop to my knees and cried, it was 5pm on the dot and she locked the door right when I almost reached out for it. I was mortified. I was furious. I was upset. I was disappointed to not be able to get the package for my mother. I am a busy woman and I work most days, by the times I get off work the PO is typically closed. There was another door;however, that had a door bell on it, but the note stated that they closed at either 4 or 4:30pm. Failed for me. I was just furious at the fact that the employee was horribly rude, for her to straight up lock the door right in my face and did not even eye me as I held my pick up slip to beg her to please let me in it was JUST 5pm. "so easy a caveman can do it" remember that line? well how hard is it to put mail that fits in a mailbox? Apparently very hard since the mail man, who routinely butchers all of our mail by squeezing every inch of mail in a tiny slot, took the box of an item I paid money for and jammed it into the small mailbox instead of the LARGE mailbox right next to it or just bring it to my door. Now I cannot remove the package because it has inner edges which prevents the box from being removed. So now I have the pleasure of cutting my box open to remove the items then tear the box out. Shouldn't being a mailman be the EASIEST job ever? I mean really, it's somewhere between walking and breathing... it shouldn't be THAT hard. If you cannot look at a box and a package and not know what is bigger than a kid in kindergarten will gladly take your job since obviously you didn't master the round things go into round space and the square into... let me know stop or I might confuse these guys. Listen... why does USPS and UPS keep making delivering of mail into a complicated job? It's walking.... and putting mail into a box! And you don't even deliver it to a house anymore, you put it in ONE box for the entire street! Come on! Other states walk in rain and snow and bad weather door to door and you hire spoiled workers who even in 350 days of sunny skies cannot master common sense delivering mail. Sometimes in the past, this post office lines can move a little slow, but I'm not sure that the client's needs aren't a contributing factor. The last few times I've been here, there has always been plenty of staff, and the line has moved quickly. I have always found the clerks pleasant and helpful. Today, I needed to call for a problem. during this quarantine i feel like a lot of people are ordering packages, myself included. not only do they always deliver my mail in a timely manner, but when i come in to this post office they've been really kind, patient and helpful. today i came in because my friend ordered something to get delivered to my house, but she made the mistake of putting her name on it instead of mine, the delivery driver didn't recognize the name and didn't deliver it so i came in to make sure it wasn't returned to sender. The kind person who helped me explained to me that it might've not been sent back yet!! i came in again in hopes of finding the package and they were able to give it to me. This has been my post office for four years, since I moved here. The service has been OK to unfriendly to disorganized/incompetent to hostile. Today the fellow at the counter was so hostile that I have determined never to go there again. Following a futile pre-Xmas trip to pick up a postage-due package--the woman couldn't find it--I went back today, following her instructions not to wait but to go directly up to the counter this time, which I told the employee at the counter. He said, in a very hostile manner, that everybody else had to wait so I had to get in the line. Or, he said, I could wait for the female employee who had unsuccessfully assisted me the week before (my postal carrier had informed me, between my two visits down there, that she hadn't looked in the right spot and that they did not have a definite place for postage-due mail to be held). I asked when she would return. He said he didn't know. I left. There's something definitely wrong with the organizational culture of this office. The USPS has been under lots of stress nationally. This local office, on whom we must depend for our USPS mail service, is, from my experience, suffering from definite dysfunction of some sort that should be addressed for the health and well being of the government employees and the citizen customers they have been employed to serve. read more

Terrible customer service!! The only reason I come here is cause it's close to my house but I am never coming to this location again. The asian lady at the counter can only be described as a bitch. She literally yells at you when you do something incorrectly. I don't work at the post office so how do I know how it works?? It's literally your job to explain it!
