I had 2 different pickup notices- one item was from Amazon in Las Vegas and the other was from China. He (mustached loudmouth guy) went to the back and handed me the package from Las Vegas but said both notices were for The same package and he threw both notices away. The other notice said China Post on it. Anyway 2 days later I got a new pickup notice in the mail It was the China Post one again. So because this idiot was too lazy to find it The first time , I have to go back tomorrow and wait 30 minutes so these lazy Entitled workers can milk the taxpayer dime. We have been dropping our packages here to be delivered to our clients.. And we have been using "fragile" stickers for the last 2 years or so for anything breakables.. Then now, as I paid for a 5-lb package, my client was charged an extra $10.35 due to the fragile sticker I used!! That's insane.. Been using it to pack my clients orders and no charge was made extra for me or them and they said that fee was effective 2 yrs ago.. How come i wasnt charged the previous years I used it?? And my client was forced to give it to a POSTMAN instead of post office and No receipt??? I talked to Main Post ofc and a certain Sailor said about the fragile sticker and i said my piece!! I even said they dont orient their people at the post office coz had they known that they i should have been charged rather than my buyer for a piece of sticker!! For special handling? Isnt it its the P.O responsibility to handle packages carefully regardless of whether there is a sticker or none? Poor customer service and communication. I had reached out to them to inquire on my package that was late. The manager called me back and continued to yell at me, saying it is not their problem and that he doesn't know where my package is. I wasn't arguing with him, I just wanted to understand what was the delay in my delivery and an expected date of some sort, considering I paid the fastest/most expensive shipping possible. He then hung up the phone on me as I was speaking mid sentence on who I should contact for more info. I've never experience such a poor display of customer service. read more

Horrible service from Jenny, if that's even her name, on Friday. Their office couldn't locate my pacakage after telling me over the phone to come & pick it up. I ask her for the phone number & she says its the same one that I called...Biatch, I wasn't using my cell phone...I don't have it...She gives me the wrong number to call back and after I repeat it to her, she says it's correct. I am one of the many unfortunate people who's address is assigned to this post office. They don't pick up the phones, and when they do... they put you on hold for very long periods of time that you'd just want to hang up the phone. YES, 30 MINUTES is a very long time. It's either no one in their office has the capability to help or they just do not want to help. Either way, it's not nice. You work there, you should be able to somehow help. I called more than once because I was very upset that the mail man left my package out in the open while it was raining. Government workers don't rate high in my book because of their usual laziness and indifference but I had to return a package today and received wonderful customer service at this post office. He was very helpful with trying to find me the best & cheapest way to return the package (I needed a receipt confirmation). Depending on the time of day, parking can be hard to find. read more

I'm sorry but the employees and supervisors at this post office are lazy to do their jobs. They refuse to deliver my packages claiming they are too heavy. I complained to the post master telling him that his supervisors claim my packages are over 70 lbs when in fact they were only 68.00 pounds and he (post master) confirms that if one post office accepts a package, they are obligated to deliver. They even threatened to return my package to the sender. read more

This San Bruno USPS location never answers the telephone, I called and let it ring, ring, ring and finally someone picked up the phone after my 3rd time calling....... when I tracked my 2 packages online it showed the postman attempted delivery on 10/16 and 10/22 but on each attempt I never received a notice to redeliver or to pickup at the post office. The person who answered the telephone said I have 3 packages, why didn't I receive a delivery notice????? This is unacceptable customer service! read more

I filed a case with USPS and received the call from San Bruno office regarding my package location. I was trying to talk with him nicely to find out if he would help me verify the recipient address was correct when I shipped my package at post office because the post office lady bad writing. ( named Chiton probably male voice on the phone). I spent $ 10 plus signature required for the shipping. And they cannot even verify where I shipped. All it showed was to the destination city ( the info I can track from their website tracking system). I wished they could help more detail then me since the package is very important. He started to have bad attitude and continuously talking loudly, and didn't even want me to say anything. He then became racial discriminated, wanted me to talk with their Chinese staff. I asked why talked to Chinese. He said I didn't understand what he said. I am US citizen and speak fluent English. I really felt that was harassment and being insulted. I then hung up the phone. If I could give no stars I would. The carrier delivered 3 packages to the wrong address and could not recover them. These were three orders I placed online on eBay and Etsy. I have phoned, emailed USPS, talked to 6 different people on the phone, went into the post office and spoke with the manager, messaged the Facebook page and have gotten the run around from all. I was told to file a refund claim but when I try the site denies the claims. The sellers can't file because the tracking numbers say delivered - even though it was to the wrong address. I went out of my way because of a dumb b**** at the SSF location so I went to this location. For a Saturday line, it wasn't bad at all and the parking I found instantly. I could definitely see this place as being real busy during peak hours with limited parking. I walked in and there were 4 employees ready to serve your USPS needs. The filipina lady that helped me was real pleasant and greeted me a "Happy Morning" and provided me options of how to ship my package. She was very helpful. I was in and out in about 4 minutes, if not less and that's including waiting in line, weighing my package, and paying for it. It put a smile on my face on this visit. read more

A passport appointment was made and I arrived 15 min early, but wasn't seen until 10 min after my appointment time. It would be better if someone acknowledged my appointment time rather than just telling me have a seat. The most dissatisfaction was the extra $15 fee I paid unnecessarily. The lady who processed my passport told me that I was required to pay for a passport book AND a card. My form clearly marked a passport book only so when I challenged the extra $15 she said that the passport card was required and so I had to pay an extra $15. I paid even though I read through the state department website multiple times to understand the difference. Upon researching further, I have found nothing about this. I want a refund! They need to staff knowledgeable people. read more

Ok I've blasted these guys in the past but just want to give credit where it is due. I had a really important package that was shown as "delivered" but was actually left somewhere way off from where I actually am. Once I got through to someone live on the phone I went through a few back and fourths then ended up working with Jenny at the San Bruno office. Long story short Jenny worked with the mail carrier to retrieve my package and make sure it was delivered on my doorstep. I lost time with all the back and fourth but at the end of the day Jenny and her team took care of it. So props to you Jenny and the San Bruno team. Keep up the good work! To the USPS customer service line, with all of the volume you do please make it easier to speak with someone live. When I called the main number I kept getting oppted out of talking to someone. That is very frustrating. I finally googled "what is the real number for USPS customer service" and found a round about way to get someone to call me back in like 15 minutes. I went through this twice and it was the difference in me getting resolution to my issue. I would guess that most people just give up when they get oppted out out speaking to someone live. Also to the usps, I think you should route all calls to the local post office to a centralized call center. When I called my local post office, I literally let it ring over 100 times. I don't fault the local post office for that. Depending on the time they could be really busy but the usps should make sure my call is received in a timely manner. I mean in terms of volume the USPS may even be more than fedex and ups. Please get your infrastructure out of the 1970s. Thank you. read more

This is probably the worst post office in the area. The staff is reluctant to help with anything and couldn't care less if you have a postage question. They are also super slow, which creates long lines inside. Not to mention, the drive by mailboxes are in a horrible spot in the parking lot ever since they moved them a couple years ago. Now, you have to drive through the very tight parking lot as people are trying to back out, causing a traffic jam that usually backs up onto Huntington from both turning lanes. I sent a Certified Mail from San Bruno, California with a tracking number to my tax consultant in Nevada on 2/26/2021. Two days later I found out that my tax consultant died of COVID-19. I immediately went to the Post Office to find out what happened to my mail. I was informed that their records showed that it was forwarded to the recipient's daughter in Michigan. I was told to just wait and that the mail will be returned to me. It turns out that the daughter refused the mail on March 18th. I went to the Post Office again to inquire about my mail. Again, I was told to just wait. After a several days, I went to the Post Office again and this time, I asked to speak to the San Bruno Supervisor but was told that she was not available because she was eating. I asked to speak to someone else but was given the Postmaster's phone number instead. I called the number and was able to speak to Postmaster Mahal and he informed me that the Supervisor in Michigan was going on vacation for a week so I just need to wait again. I asked if there was no one taking care of things if or when the Supervisor goes on vacation but I received no response. I went home and tried calling day after day but there was no answer. It is now 4/27/2021, 61 days later and I am still waiting!!! I am a senior who is desperate and stressed-out. I need my mail back!!! read more

I will go out of my way to use this post office because the employees are SUPER nice AND the lobby has a 24-hour automated postage machine. The staff have gone above & beyond several times to help me out with one thing or another which is always appreciated. The only thing that sucks is that during peak busy-hours, the parking is ridiculously inadequate so you have to park at the hotel next door and make a mad dash like a ninja, hoping that the hotel parking nazis don't tow you like their angry signs threaten.... read more

Horrible experience today. The first time I went I was helped by an extremely nice employee who was very helpful. I had to mail 2 more invitations and I went back because I needed to purchase more postage. I get to the counter and a shorter Latino man opened up a new station for me, so I was expecting him to be helpful. WRONG he went on to tell me they would cost $1.12 each, which is impossible because I mailed 60 of these bad boys with one more insert than these two had and they were $.66??? I tried to tell him that this was impossible, and he tried to tell me that they weren't flat. Long story short he had horrible customer service skills, and I had to argue with him to purchase the postage I actually needed. I will never go to his station again. read more

I looked up the closest Post Office location near me and this PO was the location. I saw the review about the man with a mustache thus when I walk into the PO today (10/14), I observed him closely than the other employee. He was very kind with his regular customers. He know their name and welcomed them. In between him working with customers, he mentioned how the supervisor is "late" and "at lease not calling in sick [today.]" Both comments not necessary for the whole PO to know in their life. Upon my turn, I explained to him what I was trying to do with my paperwork. I might of not been clear based on him doing something different than I requested. I restated what I wanted done and he gave me a face that made me feel belittled. He told me that he did not understand what I wanted to be done, so I explained again I was told that the post office was suppose to stamp (certify) my envelope for the peace corps. Eventually we both agreed I cannot get my need done at the post office. As I am about to walk away, he asked for the next customer in a gesture to show his frustration and dissatisfaction towards me. I understand the post office clerk does not need to give me excellent customer service like a waiter at a restaurant. But I question how this man was hired or why he applied for a job dealing with 50-100 people a day. I really do not want to see him during the holidays because I am sure he is extra rude.
